FFS UEFA Champions League Qualifying Round 1 Results

Hello and welcome to theΒ FFS UEFA Champions League 2015/2016 results day where we find out which managers have advanced to the second stage of qualifying rounds.

After a disappointing opening Gameweek, many managers looked to completely overhaul their teams, whilst others were content to just sit tight and have faith in their initial team selection in addition to their captain. There was a lot of tension going into Monday night football as many managers were banking on a certain Belgian to bring home the bacon.

Without further ado, here are the results of the first round of qualifying!

Congratulations to those who advanced to the next round.

The winners of each Pod will randomly be paired against each other in another head-to-head single elimination fixture. In the event of a tie, the team with the highest goals scored will go through. The fixture list will be released after Gameweek 3 and before Gameweek 4.

Many people have suggested a way of viewing their opponents team via a spreadsheet or otherwise. I would like to hear your views on this and whether it is worth implementing.

Once again, many thanks to all of you who expressed interest and participated in this tournament! I am sure it will continue to run for many season to come.

    Jaffa you don't need to go making spreadsheets etc just put each participants ID number next to their name in the draw. People can then check them on fpl if they wish to do so

      I've thought of this option as well and it's easier than making an additional spreadsheet.

        The only thing I would say is the draw is quite hard to read I would have the pod a and pod b boxes underneath one another in landscape format as opposed to Portrait format so the draws are easier to see they are quite hard to read on a phone

    Hey Jaffa a SS won't be necessary , but if u can give the Team Id in brackets beside the Team name , I think that would suffice
