The EA SPORTS PPI scores for Gameweek five are now available and the Fantasy Premier League bonus points have been awarded. Here’s a full breakdown of how they map out match by match. Look out for our round-up of the key factors that contributed to the awards over at the Scout column on the FPL site later today.

Aston Villa 1 Newcastle 1
Best 3, Agbonlahor 2, Tiote 2

Leon Best’s strike for the visitors was enough to see him fetch the 3 bonus points, with team-mate Cheik Tiote and Villa’s Agbonlahor returning identical PPI scores, the honours for the 2 bonus were shared. That denied Danny Simpson – he came in next in the PPI rankings.

Bolton 1 Norwich 2
Pilkington 3, Barnett 2, Morison 1

Anthony Pilkington and Leon Barnett grabbed the plaudits for Norwich at the Reebok and duly claimed the bonus points here – Pilkington’s goal and Barnett’s resolute defensive display earning them recognition. Steve Morison’s performance helped him earn a single bonus, with Martin Petrov Bolton’s leading performer trailing David Fox, Bradley Johnson and Russell Martin in the PPI stakes.

Blackburn 4 Arsenal 3
Yakubu 3, N’Zonzi 2, Arteta 1

Yakubu’s brace earns him the top overall EA Sports PPI score of the Gameweek with 47 – making him a clear front-runner for the maximum FPL bonus in this match. Steve N’Zonzi grabs the 2, with Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta earning a single bonus point for his goal and overall performance. The Spaniard edged out Junior Hoilett, Scott Dann and Gervinho who all notched up strong PPI scores.

Everton 3 Wigan 1
Jagielka 3, Hibbert 2, Vellios 2

As expected, Phil Jagielka earns the maximum here courtesy of his equalising goal and all-round defensive display. Tony Hibbert’s fine cross for the Vellios header has him collect the 2 and, with an identical PPI to the Greek, he shares the award. That meant that Royston Drenthe missed out on earning a single bonus point – he ranked next in the PPI scores for David Moyes’ men.

Fulham 2 Man City 2
Aguero 3, Murphy 2, Zamora 1

Sergio Aguero gathers another batch of bonus with his brace of goals for visiting City. Fulham’s fightback sees both goalscorers – Danny Murphy and Bobby Zamora earn recognition, with Clint Dempsey just outside the reckoning.

Man United 3 Chelsea 1
Nani 3, Young 2, Smalling 1

Few surprises here – Nani’s goal and assist were enough to see him as a clear PPI leader, leaving team-mates Ashley Young and Chris Smalling in his wake. Jonnny Evans and Wayne Rooney ranked next for the home side, with Jose Boswinga Chelsea’s top PPI performer on the day.

Sunderland 4 Stoke City 0
Gardner 3, Bramble 2, Larsson 1

As expected, three of Sunderland’s scorers dominate the PPI and FPL bonus. Craig Gardner narrowly edged out team-mates Titus Bramble and Seb Larsson, with Wes Brown ranking next for the victorious home side. Peter Crouch was beaten Stoke’s top PPI performer.

Swansea 3 West Brom 0
Lita 3, Dyer 2, Sinclair 1

A goal and an assist were enough to see Leroy Lita earn the maximum from this match – Scott Sinclair, whilst matching Lita’s output, presumably suffering a PPI penalty for several efforts off target. Nathan Dyer sandwiched these two for bonus points, as Swansea ran riot at the Liberty. Joe Allen and Ashley Williams were just outside the top three PPI rankings with Nicky Shorey the highest rated performer for the Baggies.

Tottenham 4 Liverpool 0
Adebayor 3, Modric 2, Defoe 1

A superb display, capped by two well-taken goals, saw Adeabyor amass an impressive PPI score in the win over Liverpool. No surprises to see him claim the maximum here then, with fellow goalscorers – Luka Modric and Jermain Defoe – picking up the remainder. Benoit Assou-Ekotto can count himself unlucky to miss out on bonus having put in a strong shift, while Jamie Carragher was the top PPI scorer for the forlorn visitors.

Wolves 0 QPR 3
Faurlin 3, Barton 2, Wright-Phillips 1

Faurlin’s fine strike for QPR’s second goal has him collect the three bonus, although, with Barton earning 2 – we might even see a change here. Barton appeared to assist Faurlin’s goal with both Wolves clearances occurring inside the penalty area before the Argentine converted his shot. Wright-Phillips picked up a single bonus as reward for another encouraging display in the free-role.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

RMT team? Got some nice comments last night after taking the hit, but doesn't hurt ask the masses again a couple of times before saturday 😛

    Transferred out:

Baines, Bent, Sess> Kompany, Mata, Adebayor 4 point hit. Leaves:

    Given/Ruddy
    Bosingwa Kompany S.Taylor
    Brunt Jarvis Walcott Mata
    Rooney Adebayor Dzeko

    Sinclair Brown De Laet

I like it Fratboy...Mata is a nice differential ahead of their good run, Ade is on fire and Kompany is a season keeper.

Sad to see Baines go but to fund that I reckon you'll do well. Bent is fantasy dirt under Mcleish's management and Sess is not performing as we'd have all liked.

Dzeko isnt enough cover for City attacking fantsay points. You need Silva or Nasri. Or, upgrade Dzeko to Aguero and downgrade midfield. Brunt, Jarvis & Sinclair are all approx 6m. If your only playing 2 of them each week, it means you have a gaurenteed waste of 2m worth of cash on your bench every week...
Back to the drawing board imo..

sounds like a City fan to me 😛

I understand that I'm missing a little bit of City attack but I'm willing to risk that for now.

I agree with Carlos. I think you definitely need Silva, or Aguero, or both if possible.

I would drop Brunt to dyer and use the 1.3 extra and upgrade Jarvis to arteta or
        Modric if funds are right.

I definitely agree with Mata and Adebayor - Iv'e brought Mata in for this week, but unfortunately I can't afford Adebayor at moment. Have to say I prefer Richards over Kompany myself, Richards offers more attacking potential, but K' is a safe banker and got some decent points last outing. Javis though looks suspect since he came back from an ankle knock and Dzeko is a bit Italian roulette for my liking. All said and done it's worth a hit.

I do get the sense of that why is it a negative that someone is having a pop at goal in the winter when the wind is swirling PPI will be a crap way to bonus.

    OK, here's my current side:

    Vorm Given

Boyata Shorey Taylor R Ward Bosingwa

    Osman Young Petrov Wright-Phillips Silva

    Adebayor Dzeko Rooney

My plan was to bring in Mata, but Dzeko dropping (for some strange reason) has changed things. Mata will be in for Osman, but who else do I change?

Options are dropping Bosingwa or Dzeko + Osman or taking a 3 man hit?

Mata for osman is a good move. Can you jut leave it at that. Would want to keep bos for his fixtures and there is nothing wrong with dzeko, cept he has been over shadowed a couple of times. He hasn't turned inti a bad footballer overnight ( i mean he's not torres right)

I'm not against Dzeko at all, I was just thinking Chelsea look a good option for this GW so Dzeko may have been a good removal - especially since everybody else is removing him for Ade and his value may drop once again!

Would love to do Petrov to Dyer & Osman to Mata, but still not enough. Would only work if I did SWP to Dyer, but again SWP is looking good for the next few weeks!

Yeah I did think about Sturridge in for Dzeko, but I get a feeling he might be dropped this week. Who knows I could wait to nearer the weekend and see what's mentioned in the press conferences.

My original plan was to bring Welbeck in for Dzeko, but that might be one hell of a risky move!

I think Aguero will outscore Rooney over the season, so think he is essential. I ditched RVP for him, as I can't see RVP scoring at the rate he did last year, even against so called easier teams.

    a) mata & faurlin ( or any other 5.3 and under midfielder)

    or

    b) meireles & ramsey and with the 1.1 spare upgrade ferguson to someone who might actually kick a football this season

    rest of my teams
    given
    kompany, bosingwa, jones
    rooney, aguero, adebeyor

Noticing alot of the 'top' fpl players both in my leagues and off this site are struggling to find decent scoring form so far this year so maybe my 700k total isnt as bad after all...

But could I could still do with my differentials in Walcott, Bendtner etc doing summit in the next few weeks!

Plenty of alternatives in that price range.

Given their performance against Sunderland and that they have games against Mun & Ars in next 4 I wouldn't back Stoke defence right now.

Taylor R, Taylor S, Ward, Jose Enrique are the bandwagon choices.
Brown, Evans, Bramble look favourable to me. I didn't do badly from Sunderland defence this week.
