So Burton played and beat Blackpool earlier... I hadn't researched what was going on with them until recently.
Blackpool are in absolute turmoil and it's a shame to see. I used to love Ian Holloway and Blackpool in the PL they were great to watch... Now they're odds on to go down to league 2

At the moment I'm looking at
Courtois, McCarthy
Jenkinson, Gomez, Richards, Huth, Targett,
Yaya, Depay, Sanchez, Silva, Mahrez,
Gomis, Aguero, Grabban.
I may also do Romero instead of Courtois atm, and perhaps downgrade one of Yaya/Depay after this week, leaving money to upgrade Jenkinson to a 5.5.
Essentially I was stuck between Yaya and Depay, and have opted for both at the cost of a viable 5th choice striker or a better defence.

In first 2 games he's gotten double the amount of touches in final third compared to Darmian. Darmian beats him on crosses but all those extra touches should start turning into crosses/assist potential soon enough.

Well I don't necessarily think Rojo will go straight into the team. Blind is a tricky one though, LvG is a big fan and it seems if he's fit he plays.....wherever that may be.
With the way we're going right now it may be Rojo that misses out until Shaw's inevitable injury 🙁
Blind will go back on the bench. Can't see him fitting in anywhere other than LCB...he could play LB or in central midfield, but I don't think he's anywhere near the top of the pecking order atm.

Although Shaw bombs forward, he doesn't assist many. His best season at Southampton was 13/14. Only 2 assists in 35 PL games then, in a Pochetino side who favours full back pushing forward.

Last year I remember LvG saying Rojo would be one of the only safe names in his first XI. Surely he's coming in somewhere when fit?I don't think LVG can drop Shaw after not only his comments about him in pre-season but also Shaw's performances. He's been so good. Think Rojo just competes with Blind for the LCB spot. Smalling completely nailed

I wouldn't say firmly but I'm pretty set on it I think. I actually think Diouf is an okay option which helps, not massively swung by Pelle.
My only worry about Diouf is Joselu and how he might fit in.

I initially thought on doing the same but I actually think I'm going to get Lovren instead. I'm confident that he's nailed on and only costs 0.4 more. I feel a bit safer with him over Gomez.
