Jon Walters is a slight doubt for Stoke’s trip to Norwich. Andros Townsend is ruled out for Tottenham. Reece Oxford is doubtful for West Ham, Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko is struggling to be fit for the trip to United, whilst Garry Monk will make a late decision on the fitness of Ki Sung-yeung.

Mark Hughes has revealed that Jon Walters is a slight concern for the weekend with illness, though the attacker has returned to training. Hughes also commented on Bojan’s availability, suggesting that the Spaniard could be “involved in some capacity” against the Canaries.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Andros Townsend will miss the Leicester trip after suffering a minor ankle problem, having previously been sidelined by a shoulder injury.

Slaven Bilic will be without Mauro Zarate at the weekend, with the forward suffering a hamstring injury in training. Zarate revealed on his official twitter page that he expects to miss the Hammers’ next two matches. Reece Oxford is a doubt after missing a few days training with a niggle, according to the club’s official website. Adrian serves the first of a three-match ban after being sent off against Leicester last week.

Newcastle are sweating on the availability of Moussa Sissoko ahead of the weekend trip to Old Trafford. The midfielder came off in the loss to Swansea last week with a groin complaint and hopes to recover in time to be involved against Man United. Elsewhere Siem de Jong has returned to training for the Magpies, while Paul Dummett also joined in with the group as he steps up his recovery.

Leicester welcome back Mark Schwarzer, with the experienced stopper having recovered from illness after missing out last weekend. Christian Fuchs took a knock in training, but it is believed to be nothing serious and Claudio Ranieri expects the defender to train today and be in contention for the weekend.

Marouane Chamakh remains sidelined for Palace despite stepping up his recovery from a hamstring problem with a midweek run out for the reserves. Bakary Sako is set to be included in the squad for the visit of Villa.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Everton have picked up no new injuries ahead of the visit of City. Kevin Mirallas is now 100% fit – the Belgian was fielded as a sub last time out after being forced off with an ankle injury in the season opener with Watford.

Bournemouth’s Harry Arter could return to training next week, though manager Eddie Howe conceded he could be “some way off” a first-team comeback.

Ki Sung-yeung has returned to training after stepping up his recovery from a hamstring injury. Garry Monk has confirmed he will make a final decision on the Korean’s fitness after today’s training session.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

How this for a plan, any changes needed:

    Myhill / McCarthy (rotate)
Kompany | Darmian | Jenkinson / Francis (rotate)
    Sanchez | Silva | Ayew | Mahrez
    Aguero | Gomis | Sakho

    Oxford | Westwood

    +1.4 in the Bank

Myhill, McCarthy - Short term rotation: AVL, sto, SOU, avl, wat, SUN

Jenkinson / Francis - Short term rotation: BOU, LEI, NEW, SUN, NOR, cpl

    Gomis > Benteke next Gameweek

Not sure Oxford is the best pick. When you'll need him, it'll likely be a week he plays 0 minutes for WHU due to sods law. Similarly McCarthy may not be in goal for the long haul. Would rather do Silva > Yaya and upgrade those two personally.

Or use the money you have ITB and hold off on Gomis > Benteke for now

Thanks guys, I know Oxford isn't nailed but I always like to have a 4.0 no playing option as to up my team elsewhere. Think I'll stick with him until a better 4.0 option comes along.

McCarthy is at risk yes, I think if he gets dropped I'll just pick a 4.5 GK to play every week.

After weeks of tinkering pre season i have thrown in the towel and playing my WC.

    Rate my team please?

    Ruddy/Butland (Kept both)

Muniesa Kompany Azpi (kept in) Williams Gomez

Ayew (or Chadli?) YYT Payet (Kept) Sanchez (or Silva/Hazard??) Wanyama

Kane Gomis Pelle (Kept but tempted to change)

Lots of lads at work, and friends, have put aguero in but cant see the value at his price, and would rather spread it about a bit.

    Any comments please?

There's a reason they all have Aguero Tom.

Just do the right thing and put him in bro. You'll end up doing it at some stage anyway. You can't afford to not have him.

I would keep Gomis and trade out Kane/Pelle. then put cheaper striker in

If you're wildcarding you have to get Aguero.

There are just not enough captain options in that lineup.

Who will you captain? Aguero is terrible value if you dont captain him, but his value is in captain points.

Any Watford aficionado able to push me towards Prödl, Nyom or Cathcart over the others? Or is it all much of a muchness?

Seems as good a reason as any. Any idea if Nyom is a sure starter? Think I'd rather lean towards a full back over CB for a rotating defender, but have no idea how likely any of them are to start.

Far from an aficionado, but I have looked into it a bit myself.

BPS scores are much of a muchness, Cathcart with a slight edge (1 BPS ahead of Prodl in both games), but that's really marginal.

Nyom actually posts some decent BPS scores due to his tackles and crosses, he's only a bit behind because of his yellow card. He's also shown by far the most attacking intent so far - check out his stats and average position from the West Brom game. However, his career history shows he's a real card magnet, and he never really picked up any assists for Granada. I think in this case, the stats won't be converting themselves into points very much.

That leaves us with Cathcart vs Prodl. Prodl has the better pedigree, as an Austrian international, with lots of experience in the German top flight. Cathcart is a good defender, but his place is under threat by the return of Britos from suspension. No-one knows if he'll come in, but Cathcart is seemingly likelier to drop to the bench. Add in the fact that Prodl is a big 6'4 lump with a good goalscoring record (better than Cathcart's, at any rate), and I think he's the pick of the bunch - should pick up some bonus points, and hopefully a goal or two.

Cheers, Ludo. hat is absolutely perfect - exactly what I was looking for. Great breakdown, Prödl it is.

Liked the look of Nyom's average position and stats so was probably edging towards him, but hadn't looked at his Grenada history.

Its risky hoping for that price rise. I'd just get Silva in now and save yourself the pain. Its not as though Depay is a significant improvement on him this week. Image Depay does nothing, Silva gets something and rises in price tonight.

How important is it in the close future to have extra money in the bank, I'm currently on 0 ITB and worried since I have 2 stoke defenders at 4,5 (Muniesa and Cameron.)

plenty of options to swap to at 4.5 or just below
cash ITB is always good, but don't just leave it there to the detriment of your squad in the chance you might need it. Most people who have ITB have a plan such as 2.5 for rooney to aguero or in my wifes case £400 to paint the hall rather than a new 3 wood

    Current front 8

    Sanchez, Silva, Depay, Mahrez, Barry

In order to upgrade my aweful defence I should do

Don't think we can extrapolate this.

Moreno has been short of match fitness until now.

I think Gomez currently has the jersey but he's only 19 - I think it would be extraordinary for him to get 30 starts in the prem.

He still might be worth it - but only if you are comfortable that he could be rotated any week.

Is Ramsey a viable alternative to Sanchez?

Which option would you refer here:.

    1. Sanchez, Diouf and Hoolahan. This option is to accommodate Sanchez but leaves the other two players as slightly weak.

    2. Ramsey, Benteke and Redmond. This spreads the funds better and leaves more room for flexibility for later transfers. It does assume Ramsey can give Sanchez a challenge as an alternative.

    3. Ramsey, Depay and Deeney. Weak in the forward line but stronger midfield.

Thoughts on going 4-5-1 and sometimes 3-5-2 with this? I think it might leave too much on the bench. I probably need to step away for a while and reset the brain. My disgraceful start to the season is screwing with my decision making.

    Courtois
    Kolorov - Darmian - Gomez - Bellerin
    Silva - Sanchez - Mane - Ayew - Mahrez
    Aguero

    (McCarthy, Deeney, Grabbon, Francis)

      How's everyone's team value looking?

I'm currently at 99.3 with 1.5 ITB, which is better than usual for this stage of the season.

        My defence right now is:

        Darmian - Kolarov - Gomez - Morgan - Targett

But I'm worried about routation risks with 2 of them (Kolarov and Gomez). So I'm thinking replace Kolarov by Shaw.

Do you think Darmian + Shaw in the same team is risky too?

        Thanks.

you should also be worried about Targett. 3 risks in same defence must be too many
