Jon Walters is a slight doubt for Stoke’s trip to Norwich. Andros Townsend is ruled out for Tottenham. Reece Oxford is doubtful for West Ham, Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko is struggling to be fit for the trip to United, whilst Garry Monk will make a late decision on the fitness of Ki Sung-yeung.

Mark Hughes has revealed that Jon Walters is a slight concern for the weekend with illness, though the attacker has returned to training. Hughes also commented on Bojan’s availability, suggesting that the Spaniard could be “involved in some capacity” against the Canaries.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Andros Townsend will miss the Leicester trip after suffering a minor ankle problem, having previously been sidelined by a shoulder injury.

Slaven Bilic will be without Mauro Zarate at the weekend, with the forward suffering a hamstring injury in training. Zarate revealed on his official twitter page that he expects to miss the Hammers’ next two matches. Reece Oxford is a doubt after missing a few days training with a niggle, according to the club’s official website. Adrian serves the first of a three-match ban after being sent off against Leicester last week.

Newcastle are sweating on the availability of Moussa Sissoko ahead of the weekend trip to Old Trafford. The midfielder came off in the loss to Swansea last week with a groin complaint and hopes to recover in time to be involved against Man United. Elsewhere Siem de Jong has returned to training for the Magpies, while Paul Dummett also joined in with the group as he steps up his recovery.

Leicester welcome back Mark Schwarzer, with the experienced stopper having recovered from illness after missing out last weekend. Christian Fuchs took a knock in training, but it is believed to be nothing serious and Claudio Ranieri expects the defender to train today and be in contention for the weekend.

Marouane Chamakh remains sidelined for Palace despite stepping up his recovery from a hamstring problem with a midweek run out for the reserves. Bakary Sako is set to be included in the squad for the visit of Villa.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Everton have picked up no new injuries ahead of the visit of City. Kevin Mirallas is now 100% fit – the Belgian was fielded as a sub last time out after being forced off with an ankle injury in the season opener with Watford.

Bournemouth’s Harry Arter could return to training next week, though manager Eddie Howe conceded he could be “some way off” a first-team comeback.

Ki Sung-yeung has returned to training after stepping up his recovery from a hamstring injury. Garry Monk has confirmed he will make a final decision on the Korean’s fitness after today’s training session.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Literally the world has been calling for Giroud to be benched over the past couple of years - has never happened and I don't see it happening. Wenger trusts Giroud.

Less minutes yes, but don't see him being benched.

Strong team and different to most around. Think Benteke is a good pick and Giroud too. Only places I would change is possibly not having Gomez and Kolarov as both rotation risks. I think the keepers rotate very well and im very tempted to go with them. Are you worried that McCarthy might lose his place to Speroni and Wba might sign another keeper? Thats my fear

Nope, i'll probably play Myhill most weeks, although i'm tempted to plump for McCarthy this week.

Just looking the rotation isnt as good as I thought but for 8.5m its grand. Especially as Wba can keep out the stronger teams too

Maybe not perfect h/a rotation but the fixtures aren't too bad when Myhill plays most of them

        Villa (h), Stoke (a), Southampton (h), Villa (a), Everton (h), WBA (h), Sunderland (h), Norwich (a), Leicester (h), Liverpool (a), Sunderland (h), Newcastle (h)

I'm not sure on that one. While Sturridge is out, I can't see where Liverpool's goals come from besides Benteke, plus the home fixtures are pretty spectacular despite the plump away fixtures. Far too much upside for me to ignore, imo.

Your keepers could both be out of the team within a couple of months.

I would want at least one secure long term option as a keeper transfer down the track seems a bit of a waste.

Currently thinking about going with Targett.

my current back four is Kompany Darmian Shaw Gomez Richards (Kompany and Darmian will play every week)

I want to replace Shaw with someone to get some money.

      Current WC Team

      Romero (Butland)
      Kompany Darmian Shaw/Targett (Richards Gomez)
      Ayew Sanchez YYToure Mahrez (Albrighton)
      Gomis Kun(c) Diouf

      0.2 ITB

With Targett it'd be 1.7ITB and I could upgrade someone else perhaps Gomis to Tekkers with 0.3ITB ?

      What should I do?

    Sakho Agüero Pellè

    Subs: Rudd Huth Targett Bentaleb

Aguero (c), Haz (vc) at the moment. might switch.

My feelings about this GW must be how my wife feels before sex:

I've got over the disappointment of last time, made a couple of changes and feeling slightly optimistic and yet... I know as soon as it starts I'll be feeling underwhelmed, frustrated and by the end of it I'll be imagining other teams wondering what could have been...

Yeah, it is a risk, but I'm going to see how they perform over the next couple of GWs, see how Pedro fits in too.

Are you on a WC? Depay would be a better choice than Mata now he's back outwide. Possible Barkley to Ayew if you can afford it, Montero might be a decent shout if not.

Probably midfield. Just not enough big hitters in there, for me. Thoughts on mine?
      Courtois
      Shaw Toby Gomez
      Yaya Sanchez Mata Barkley
Aguero Kane Wilson (1 more week)

Not to sure on the chelsea def this season, but can't see it staying this weak for much longer.
        Defence seems good
Everton have very unfavourable fixtures, like the rest though
Forwards all good but can't see Bournemouth scoring many

    Hoolahan or Yaya for GW3?

Personally I like Hoolahan more because he is responsible for all the set pieces but I am worried about his game time.

I'm just imagining the reaction on here if Aguero, Payet, Ayew, Gomis, Diouf, Sanchez, Kolorov and Mahrez combine for about 25 points over the weekend...

Call me stupid but I don't actually like the template team that much. Maybe for the next few weeks, but if I play my WC right now I am probably going to want most of that squad to be capable of seeing me through to GW19, minimum.

Terrible start to the season but am sticking with this for one more week before either Rooney --> Aguero or complete WC. What do you think?

    Schmeichel

    Ivan - Kosc - Cedric

    Hazard - Sterling - Depay - Mahrez

    Sakho - Rooney - Deeney

Subs: Schwarzer - Huth - Saylor - Wanayma

Who do we think is the best midfielder for 6.6m or under(excluding Mahrez)?

Looking at Cabaye, fixtures are not good though but Palace are great going forward and he seems to have fitted in straight away
