In our second Members article of the week, we drill further down into our Opta performance statistics to assess the Premier League’s leading supply lines from the crossed ball.

We slice open our data to list the top providers of crosses, examining which of them is delivering volume and quality, assess who is getting more of the ball and, ultimately, who is contributing the numbers to deliver Fantasy returns or at least demonstrating the potential to do so.

The article uncovers some interesting findings regarding the Nani vs Ashley Young debate, how Leighton Baines is comparing to his peers at full-back, and just how the likes of Stewart Downing and Matt Etherington are struggling to hit the heights of last season.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      I made that move before Holt dropped to 5.4M but then got burned w/ Sturridge slight injury. At 6.5M I can't ignore Sturridge if he maintains a starting role. If he doesn't I can always ship him out later or bench him as he's cheap enough to not perform and not really bother me as much as if he were 7, 8, 9, etc....

      He'll miss this weekend but start next week I bet.

      * Would pick only one of Given and Dunne. I'd go w/ Given.
      * Evans will cost you a transfer in the near future. Are you cool with using your 1 free transfer to move him out?
      * Maybe SWP instead of Seb.
      * Cabaye is a decent punt and could come good.
      * Like the Agbon selection as he's proving to be Villas main goal threat.

    What do people make of the new Fifa? Having just downloaded the Demo I'm very impressed with how the importance of possession is greater compared to previous years, although I think the new changes to defending may take some while to master.

    Really don't think we can read too much into any of this at such an early stage. Nani's successful crosses per game being 1.4, to Young's 1.2, means he's completed one more crosses this season.

          A - no brainer.

          RVP isn't the RVP of last season. The team around him doesn't look like, at the moment at least, that it can support the same level of results. So RVP to Aguero, who's out of this world right now, makes sense.

          Dzeko to Ade makes sense in that you would have Aguero as coverage. Ade is Spurs sole target "big man" and has skills to boot. Won't have to worry about the rotation headache either.

    Hi guys

    2 free transfers this week.

    I have Nzogbia and Brunt that I need to ship out and I want to get Mata.

    My frontline is RVP, Suarez, Rooney and I think that it would be mad to sell any of those 3 this weekend given their fixtures.

    However I would love to get Adebayor or Aguero who are the in-form forwards.

    So I am torn between 3 options:

    1/ Keep Front line intact and clean my midfield (4 pts)
    Nzog+Brunt+Given -> Mata+Tiote+Vorm (Vorm and Ruddy rotate pretty up to the time of my wild card)

    2/ Kill Suarez (4 pts)
    Nzog+Brunt+Suarez -> Mata+Tiote+Adebayor

    3/ Kill Van Persie (0 pts)
    Nzog+Van Persie -> Mata+Adebayor

    What do you guys advise?

            Bit long and cumbersome - may bring it back some time! Can't resist a pun but I thought I'd go for something a bit more functional, though a touch boring. Hopefully, people see it and they therefore get into watching Peep Show! Best sitcome ever (even better than The Office, Ideal and Nighty Night; all classics in their own right).

            BTW I still stand by what I say: please can we see any old FPL screenshots.

        Thanks. Sugar! If that is the case, I have to get rid of either Sess, Brunt or Walters. I think Sess has some points in him and to get rid means I won't be able to watch Monday's game. Young at Stoke too...

        Decisions, decisions but I can't afford that rise, hence why I have tried to watch these price changes like a hawk..

            Interesting selection of claret and blue, Doosra. Agbonlahor looks inspired and one of those I would never have considered at the start of the season. Feel I need 3 biggies up top, though.

            Flip a coin time! Walters has served me well, despite the pen miss (which he won). Will that continue?

            Sess served me well at the back end of last season. Good stats. But 4 goals for Sun gives just the one assist...

            Brunt benched v Utd. Then played instead of Dyer when Dyer got 6 and 11. Now on pens. Had him and Odem for months last season with little return then got rid after the WB DGW and they were on fire. But I'm playing Schwarz this week, too.

            I've patient with all concerned, but Sods Law makes me scared...

    how did VdV look vs Stoke yesterday? Think he'll play 90 vs Wigan? He's fallen 0.3 to 9.7, and with Adebayor and Modric rating so well recently, VdV could be a fantastic differential.

      I think Adebayor will really impact on his returns to be honest, with Defoe and Adebayor up front all the time, VDV is being resigned to the wings, VDV was the goal getter/game changer last term in the league, Adebayor takes the pressure off him, and makes him less essential in my view, would prefer Mata, Silva or Nani.
