It’s Jonty’s time to curry sympathy this week and he’s on the receiving end of a barrage of cyber-bullying from co-host Granville.

Determined to the belittle Jonty’s Wildcard performance following Callum Wilson’s hat-trick, Granville takes to Twitter before roasting him live on air on the ScoutCast. He seems to have totally missed the fact that I too sold on Wilson as part of my own Wildcard; I’m quite happy for Jonty to play Patsy on this one.

Jonty rolls with the virtual punches to join us as we look back on the Gameweek that saw all three of us refresh our squads. We score our Wildcards out of ten, before scanning the community for Gameweek tales in “Rough with the Smooth”.

We then take on your questions, as we assess Pedro’s pedigree, the lure of Aleks Kolarov and the merits of a well-rounded squad in the light of the FPL chips.

    Lad at work set up auto select team but never touched it. Made him look today and he is ranked 168k compared to my 2.5m despite having Lamela, DDG and Nasri 🙂

          The difference is Lalana, Lovren, Allen are BR signings. Marko, Sakho, Ballotelli weren't BR's signings.

          Europa and the domestic cups could be 15 or could only be 5 games. I think he needs to play and play week in week out. With Firmino, Coutinho, Lallana and Ibe ahead of him plus sturridge to come back it's tough to see us needing him. Let him go and play and we'll reevaluate next year.

            It's the same with Origi. This is a good striker Liverpool have, however, if he's only to play 10 games for LFC this season, it'll cease his development. I rather see him loaned out to a Premiership club.

    anyone think its worth doing Pelle -> Wilson in order to beef up a midfielder and start playing 3 5 3 as forwards are lagging behind in points. Could transfer Wanyama to Barkley for instance.

    Trying to decide between keeping Payet or Ramsey on my wildcard. Forward line atm is:

    Silva Sanchez Mahrez Payet/Ramsey Westwood
    Aguero Gomis Wilson

    Ramsey pros:
    2 good fixs coming up (Stoke at home has been v profitable for Arse)
    Has been unlucky so far - getting lots of shots in. Could be on the brink of a haul

    Cons:
    Would involve doubling up on Arsenal mids, something which has bitten me twice in last few months,
    Arsenal struggling for form
    Wouldn't have any money in the bank

    Payet pros:
    Central to West Hams play, on lots of set pieces and has hit the ground running
    West ham scoring plenty of goals, even in defeats
    Great assist record last season
    Would have 1m in bank to allow eg Sanchez to Haz, or to upgrade Wilson without a hit

    Cons:
    Two tricky away fixs in next 3 (Liverpool and Man C)
    New to Premier league so may struggle to maintain form

    Of course I could just go for someone else entirely (up to 8.5). Any suggestions welcome!

        Personally, I've gone for Pedro. I've watched enough of Barcelona over the last few seasons to know that he'll get in good positions, and he's a very good finisher! It's just whether he can adjust to the Premier League.
