      Last season - Rooney > Giroud (C)

      Rooney was playing central midfield, not getting anywhere near the opposition's goal. Giroud was coming into form, at home to QPR.

      Giroud got sent off, and the captaincy doubled the -2 to a -4.
      Rooney scored twice and assisted once, scoring 16 points.

        I knew that Giroud(c) was gonna get a mention! 😛

        It's hard to feel bad about moves like that though, when you can still justify it afterwards. I sold an out-of-form injury doubt, for an in-form player with arguably a better fixture. Obviously it didn't work out that way... and like the Giroud red card, Coutinho getting sent off was just unfortunate.

    Swansea's next 9 fixtures:

    wat - EVE - sou - TOT - STO - avl - ARS - nor - BOU

    They're bloody good if you ask me - looks like I'll be doubling up on Ayew and Gomis. Only one I don't fancy is the Arsenal game, but they have two lovely fixtures after that.

    With the form they're in, they could score against anyone; just so happens they have kind fixtures too.

      They are really in good form, but..

      Double City and Double Swan.

      That are 4 / 7 from just 2 / 20 teams.

      A bit worried.

        The other top sides are looking woeful.

        Chelsea: have looked a shadow of their former selves, their options are expensive and not in form. Pedro has a goal and 2 assists in 2 games, but you can't really call that form.

        Arsenal: have scored 3 goals, 2 of which were OGs. Says it all.

        Liverpool: Have scored 2 goals, one was blatantly offside.

        Man United: Scored 3 goals but they have been shared, no one player has looked a good FPL option.

        Tottenham: 3 goals, Chadli involved in 2. He is their only option IMO. Kane has been poor, no other options that have even been considered.

        Anyone else a bit unsure what transfers to make? I have two free ones and don't really want to take out Gomis (form) or Diouf (fixtures) for Wilson, also Payet and Mahrez have good fixtures coming up despite blanking so I'm not too keen on getting rid for Mane/Ayew

        Transfers I'm looking at are therefore quite sideways, like Richards --> Olsson, Kompany --> Kolarov or Ruddy --> Myhill

            Fair point that. I guess that's one of the reasons why i'm reluctant. Is it better to get Gomis because of the lack of other strikers firing, or get Ayew, because the other strikers will surely start turning up soon enough

              Gomis is easy to ignore, because he's just ticking over nicely each week. I don't think you'll be disappointed with either, to be honest.
