An extraordinary death threat ode to Granville provided the inspiration and backdrop for this week’s Scoutcast.

My co-host wasn’t sure whether to feel flattered or mildly panicked by a community post like no other.

Recovering from the menacing tribute, Granville joined forces with Jonty and myself to assess the merits of the deadline day arrivals, before grappling with another round of community questions.

We rinse through the De Bruyne debate, the heavy-hitter slump, briefly consider buying Jonny Evans, before tentatively giving out dating advice – again inspired by the imaginations of you, the community.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Not sure, normally would be a no brainer into the Chelsea defence but they're not playing well at all and this won't help.

Had Kun this last 2 gw as capt. Dont want to switch now and miss the boat.
If you manged to double Agueros overall points at the end of the year as a capt am sure it would be a nice return.

Quick one, If Diouf doesn't start what do you think the chance of a cameo is?

    I'm on

    Schmeichel

    Francis Kolarov Williams

    Mahrez Sanchez Depay Payet

    Gomis Kun Diouf

    Butland Surman Darmian Gomez

Am doing Depay > Pedro/Sterling with 1ft and am thinking of either saving my second transfer or doing Surman to anyone 5.2 or under in case Diouf doesn't play.

    Thoughts?

Thibaut Coutois has been told he will be out for at least 10 weeks after travelling to Spain for exploratory surgery on his injured knee.

Chelsea’s initial fear that Courtois suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury in training has been dismissed, but a specialist in Barcelona on Thursday confirmed the Belgian has completely torn his meniscus.

Courtois can now only wait for the injury to heal and has been given a timescale of at least 10 weeks before he can play again. If the recovery is slower, then the 23-year-old could be out for three months.

Enjoy it, do all of the work and appreciate the course, but really enjoy the social life because it's an experience you're unlikely to get again. Don't worry about anything while you're there, they're the best years of your life so just party, have fun and enjoy it. Worry about life when it's over.

        Sorry, I should expand.

Travelling give's a fantastic life experience without the pressure of studying for something that may not be the correct route for you.

And without the (formal) education though.

Enjoy it, don't go completely mental - make sure you study too. But go fairly mental as you won't get this kind of opportunity often.

I know aguero v Sanchez is a key decision this week but remember Arsenal also have Champs league games this week and Sanchez has also had internationals. It's likely that both could be subbed around 60 if their teams are winning.......

I believe Sanchez only played once over the International break whereas Aguero played twice, the latter game being early Wednesday morning

True but Kun was only on for a few minutes in the last game. I'm not advising anyone to steer clear of either of them. I just think that there are risks with both.

Interesting stat, cheers Ludo. Thought they might be starting to click a wee bit and Southampton players are turning into something of a differential as a lot of people have shipped them out after the start that they had.

Still a toss up between YYT and Pellé for me. If I am convinced otherwise now about Pellé and he goes ahead and gets returns I will go ff the deep end altogether.

          Semi-fixxie proof though.

When Deeney improves his shot on target ratio, everyone will want him

Vardy and Deeney are the ones I'm looking at.

    Targett or Azpi for GW5?

Will Targett play for much longer? I'm not sure.

Def not play when Bertrant is back, but I have both and need to bench one for GW5.

At the moment I play Targett (vs WBA) istead of Azpi (vs EVE) but not sure if it is the best choice...

My AOA chip will allow me to get Westwood's points in any given GW.

    Fail.

Relax, there will come the time when you can upgrade Westwood and play it. Store the chip for now.

It's not as if Begovic is that good of a bargain compared to Courtois, only 0.4 difference and a future transfer needed.

Chelsea might get back to their old selves again. If that happens, Begovic will be an easy access in to Chelsea's defense.

        But so was Courtois

That being said I could well take the plunge next week 🙂

On WC and considering Fabianksi to Begovic and Azpilicueta to Williams. Saves £1M....

Anything from Bilic on Jenkinson? Is he likely to be benched?

Considering Hazard > Sanchez for -4. He scored 2 in this fixture last year..

    Is this madness?
