      Bolasie or Puncheon are the most promising to me. Sako will be on the bench once Wickham is back because Pardew will favor Zaha over Sako. Cabaye is still playing too deep for me.

      Bolasie has the most threat but Puuncheon will be the most consistent.

          Which is why Puncheon should be considered. I guess people think it's not a sexy pick, but if you look at the stats, it's probably the smartest. He's playing more advanced than Cabaye, us more involved in the final third, takes more corners, and is splitting set pieces.

      I brought in Sako. I've watched most of their games this season and he looks promising. Puncheon a good pick also but flagged.

        I think Puncheon's is just a slight knock. With Sako I'd be worried that he's on the bench soon. Pardew choosing to play Zaha 90 minutes and taking Sako out early last match makes me think he's a late sub once Wickham is back.

      B, Pelle out would be my priority here imo. Säints offense isn't cutting it, simple as tbh.
      Would prefer Haz out to Jenk also, feel like Jenk is alright on the bench for now and hope for the best. He can easily wait until next weék IMO, I think an offensive rearranging is the best route tbh.

      Haz + Pelle to Ayew/Barkley/? + Benteke

        Yeah actually considering that too. One school of thought is that it's better keeping Haz if I've held onto him this long, but then the likes of Ayew/Barkely/Cout seems like good replacement for the man who's definitely off form and overpriced atm.

        However Haz already fell and I don't think he'll fall again. Jenk otoh...

          I think you should take the 0.1m out of the equation IMO, you're depending on Hazard as an offensive asset & whoever you replace him with has a way higher ceiling tbh. Especially considering the fact that they face Arsenal & are still zombiefeid as a whole. There are better, cheaper offerings elsewhere that are more than capable of delivering double digit hauls this GW.

          I don't think your Jenk replacement will be more productive than your attacker, imo. (unless it a Kolarov)

    In my desperation I hit that -12 button. It has been a bad season so far. That being said I have such a heavy hit stacked against me this coming week I’m actually thinking of using a chip to some how lessen the sting. If you were in my position which one would you use and why?

          OK. well I would say take a step back and use some perspective. Is this a good week with your squad to use that token. You only get each one once and you can guaranteem many people will be waiting for DGW's. If you use it now will you have an advantage because your team is particularly well? Or will you be wasting it and liable to fall further behind when everyone else uses theirs?

      Where do I begin. I would really suggest you research it, but watch from 2005 onwards. The old series weren't as good. It's a great show that has declined recently. But worth a watch.

          I get the impression that you should start with one of the more recent iterations of the Dr, rather than starting at the very beginning, but I'm not sure I can tell you what year to start with, (or which Doctor). Best consult a professional on that one.

    Here's a look at my thinking for now.

    Butland…Ighalo/Bellerin/Cedric

    Alright, I really want the likes of Benteke in my team, but don't see who to get rid of in my midfield/defence to make it happen. If Kun is injured a few games it would make my decision easier with just putting the money in the bank?

    Some quick questions,

    How do you find it? Can this team turn into a disaster in a few weeks time? Or does it have the potential to do well.

    Am I playing the right defenders? Captain choice OK for now?

      With the best advice in the world it can turn into a disaster area I am afraid. Look at the starts most on here have made to the season.

      I am not keen on captaining Sanchez for the Chelsea game. There must be a better option?

      Playing Payet against Kolorov means one of them is guaranteed to blank.

      Team looks pretty good all in all but everything seems quite random at the moment.

        That's not necessarily true 😉 Kolarov could still score.
        Just curious, are you advising a downgrade in Payet? Do you think he will continue to perform?

          Yes I think Payet will continue. It is just a defender cannot get a clean sheet and a forward score goals against each other in the same match. I might just put one on the bench

      My first though was dont like the 3-5-2 and one of your mids should be a 4.5 and bump up Ighalo. But thinking about it i cant honestly say dropping one of Payet, Barkley or Maherez is good!

      I always go the 3-4-3 with a 4.5 mid but your team looks good. Not sure cash wise but looks like to me Payet and Ighalo vs 4.5 mid and Benteke?

        This is my conundrum for this week.
        I have gone from one to the other in my head.

        Just, I feel that Payet will continue to perform for some reason… gut feeling which evidently has been working for me up until now 😆

        None have fantastic underlying stats but Payet looked incredible today… really going to drive me nuts this week.

      I'm not sold on Barkley yet (see my blog post today for more on that). I also have Butland and McCarthy as my goalkeepers but I'm actually thinking about shifting Butland soon, despite his heroics against Arsenal, because Stoke aren't looking great for clean sheets right now.

        The tricky part is, if I keep 3-5-2, who do I downgrade to?
        and if I revert back to 3-4-3 it doesn't give me enough cash to bring Benteke in… to double up on Leicester offence? Vardy as a possibility?

    I've just ready FuzzyWarble's post (see stickies). I can't say I really knew him, having only been posting on here since last summer and I don't recall seeing him around much in the Deadzone, but it is a bit sad if regular posters are drifting away.

    I like the Deadzone because we can actually have a proper discussion about various FPL options. When I have ventured on to the site at other times, particularly on a Friday and Saturday, it's bedlam and I think nearly everyone gets ignored. It just encourages me to return to the welcome embrace of the Deadzone. 🙂

      Honestly after some consideration I have decided that they will score relatively the same for a while. The City mids share in the points it seams.

      So for me it's Yaya because of the funds difference.

    What happens if you play the AOA chip and one of your front 8 doesn't play?

    The rules say you lose the chip (which is fine), but it doesn't seem to confirm whether defenders can sub in for attackers (thus changing your formation). Assume the answer is yes but wondered if anyone knew for certain?
