Manchester City host West Ham as Saturday’s action draws to a close, with the Irons endeavouring to find and exploit a chink in the Sky Blues’ otherwise impregnable armour. Slaven Biliic’s men have matched the table toppers on the goal front this term (11) but face their tallest task yet against the league’s stingiest defence.

Man City rank second – behind Arsenal – for attempts (93) and shots inside the box (51) this term but boast a far superior shot conversion rate (11.8% compared to 4.5%). Their lethality up front has been complemented by an organised defensive unit, as evidenced by the fact they’ve conceded just one big chance and 22 shots inside the box across their quintet of match-ups.

Meanwhile, the Hammers have converted nearly a fifth (19.3%) of their chances, making them the league’s most clinical finishers. Man City, though, will be emboldened in the knowledge that the Hammers place joint-fourth for big chances conceded (nine) and seventh for shots inside the box (42) conceded.

Well done West Ham, City kept persisting with playing to Navas to cross and it wasn't working the entire game. The one time they scored was when they played through the middle.

West Ham have now beaten City, Arsenal and Liverpool away, Payet could well be fixture proof, fair play Hammers

Looks very in-form. But Gomis was fixture proof after Chelsea & ManU points, faded since.

    Butland
    Kolarov Gomez Francis (huth targett)
    KDB sanchez pedro mahrez (Westwood)
    Kun benteke Wilson

    A) bring in payet tonight before he rises (pedro or Sanchez out)
    B) relax, let payet rise and properly assess on Friday..

Not Aguero's game but definitely not gonna drop him after that performance, and it's not like any other high priced forwards are performing either

Mourhinho bought two reds for Chelsea and a BS corner goal for west Ham. 6 points in one weekend. Wonder how much that cost?

Lets all guess what the average FPL score will be by the end of the day.
I reckon 41 points, mainly through mahrez captainers

I said at the start of the season that Sterling was vastly over-rated and that he'd been found out in his second season at club and international level.
Not seen anything to suggest otherwise yet.

Yeah, this season is his last chance given the fact that he's 20 whole years old.

Don't understand the commentators saying Hammers fully deserve the 3 points. I'd say they were massively lucky.
