Not too shabby, don't see the need to get rid just yet.

      United yes, Chelsea not convinced.

If you feel you need MU cover, you could go maverick and bring in Depay if you want rid of Shaq.

            No idea what happened there,

i was jut gonna say kdb's fixtures and low ownership make him an amazing differential, but is he nailed?

depay/payet could easily explode in their next fixtures too though, you just never know

Payet has a run of fairly decent fixtures, has looked consistently dangerous, and has shown he is able to score points in FPL

Dapay has none of those qualities

Difficult to consider him with Payet around. It's not as though we need the extra money at present given how the big hitters are doing.

        • 16 Years
        10 years, 4 months ago

Yup.. probably the case. i think i should give up my tendency of penny pinching and get Payet in and enjoy some price rises. very far behind on team value atm anyway

        1. Hyperion
          • 14 Years
          10 years, 4 months ago

Yeah sometimes you have to go for points over value. It's a shame he's rising tonight - I want to see what Mané does tomorrow before I get him in. I could do Sinclair -> Payet but it would leave me with the ultimate bench headache.

My team is in transition from 352 to 343 (just swapped bench fodder to Benteke this week). At the moment I have a packed front 8 with benching woes. This coming GW it's fairly easy, as I will bench Chadli playing Citeh, but soon I need to turn one mid into a bencher. Pretty sure Chadli is the one, but these are the choices:

    Chadli/Pedro/Payet/Mahrez/Sanchez

I'm not overly enamoured of Pedro or Sanchez either. My hope is to save a FT this week and then do a double-switch and downgrade one and upgrade a defender (Gomez, Richards, or Targett).

Problem is that none of those three defenders is reliable for next GW, so I might need to make a switch immediately, but I have no free cash and, as I said, I want to upgrade.

Should I switch Gomez or Richards to, say, Prodl this week, and save the double-switch for later, or just play one of those three losers this week? And which mid should I drop when the time comes?

      yeah chadli

you could also switch gomez to moreno who, if he starts regularly, could be good value at 4.7 in a wingback role as he's attack minded

You know, I really am getting tired of being ignored. I reckon there ought at least to be a sense that if you give a fair amount of advice to other people, you can count on some reciprocity. I don't ask a lot of questions. One a week, maybe. I never do an RMT. And I respond to endless questions from other people, from the gravless to the old timers. It would be nice to think that when I ask a question I might get more than one answer. I know, I wrote more words than a lot of people do: that's because I had a complicated question to ask (indeed, I would not have asked if it weren't difficult).

I know that if this is not ignored it will be mocked as a temper tantrum. It is not that at all. I'm perfectly calm, and I'm just calling you chumps out for being crappy colleagues.

Planning is great but this kind of thing is difficult. Firstrly play the gameweek in front of you but try to leave yourself flexible for the next gameweek because you never really know who you are going to want to buy until after the next round of fixtures have happened.

I would make the defensive transfer now and worry about the midfield issue later. Both of those players may do very well next week.

Ayew + Gomis > Martial(C) + Drinkwater (-4) + 2.2m I can see him ripping the crap out of sunderland.

I can use the 2.2 later to upgrade my dodgy defence that has Targett and Oxford and the risk of Gomez.

Home to Stoke was his last chance.
Gave him one more chance against a leaky Chelsea defence, but he did nothing. Nada. Even -1 in the bps...

Can understand the frustration.. that being said he was playing away to chelsea mate. seemed an ok choice in a vacuum but there were plenty of other players with better fixtures/form. Easy to say in hindsight and i'm not trying to rub it in .. 🙂 .. all i'm saying is keep the faith(Note: my captains have given me 2/2/2/1/3/5 so far so i am not making fun of you in anyway 🙂 )

What's your biggest gaff this season thus far?

I've ever dropped more points from poor decisions:

Last week... last minute change from Mahrez to Aguero (c) .. cost me 10 pts
This week... traded Hazard --> Sanchez and played Nyom over Francis... cost me 16 pts.

Total 26 points dropped in 2 weeks.

With the flak Chadli has been getting about his performances of late from the tottenham fans and Eriksen/Dembele/NJie back soon to compete for spots(along with Alli/Mason/Pritchard) i'd say his spell as an fpl option is about to end. Add his poor fixtures to that and it's a yes.. I'd only do it early if you have a strong bench to save you incase you get other injuries though. Bit risky otherwise

Debating whether to do Westwood to Payet before his rise. Chances are, Payet will rise more over the coming weeks. He has shown himself to be fixture-proof.
It will leave me with a benching headache up front. But as I'm unsure which way to go long term (352 or 343) it would keep all my options open.
    Thoughts?
