May join the rush Benteke to Martial , just for a 1 week punt. But only if Benteke ruled out. Chasing points, not price rises .

Everton put 3 past Southampton , and whilst Martial looks promising , 2nd goal was placed on a plate for him, by Yoshida, Would we have the same lemming like rush. if he only got the 1 goal ? I doubt it.

Sunderland are much worse than Soton and It's at old trafford - I thin kMartial will get at least as many clear cut chances next week as he did today. And with the way he was finishing today, I back him to put them away

tbf he had just 2 clear cut chances today.. one from an offside and one from a Yoshida through ball 😆 .. that being said i am boarding this wagon. Got my WC in hand to help me hop off if needed

              10 years, 4 months ago

True, the sample size is small, and I'm not saying he's gonna be a 200+ point season keeper or anything. I've just decided to keep it simple and buy the guy who's putting chances away for fun and playing the worst team in the league next weekend.

Fair enough, probably a good move if you have no other priorites and can make a quick buck too. I just know somewhere down the line he'll be a problem, and scoring vs Sunderland is not a nailed on certainty, so i'm trying to think more long-term. Not ruling out getting him this week like you, but just worried about the other players i need to get rid of. Most people who are selling Martial are losing players who also have good fixtures and who can also score this week, so it's risky

People saying Man United's fixtures after Sunderland are awful. I'm not entirely sure I agree. Yes they have some tough games but I can see goals in nearly all of them.

Arsenal away - Arsenal not looking anywhere near the team they should be. Yes they've kept 3 clean sheets but they were against a Liverpool side that have completely lost the plot, a 10 man Newcastle and Stoke. There will be goals in this game.

Everton away - tough fixture but again I can't see Everton keeping a clean sheet. They did put in a good defensive display against Swansea but it's a game United should be winning.

City home - obviously a tough game but a derby, anything could happen.

Palace away - leaking goals all over the shop. Kept about 1 clean sheet in 100 games (this may not be factually accurate)

West Brom home - yes West Brom are good defensively but as the home team you'd expect United to win this one.

The next five games after that see them play the 3 promoted sides along with Leicester away and West Ham at home.

Surely for 8mil Martial has to be worth a punt.

Definitely. United 2nd in the league and going strong. No reason why they can't beat Arsenal and Everton.

United are a so called top 4 club. They should be fixture proof. Do you expect them to lose 3 on the bounce?

I'm not sure if this reply is meant for me or not. I'm saying they won't lose 3 on the trot and even if they do there should be goals in all the games which is all that matters to me.

Considering that one of the reasons ppl dont want Martial in is cause they are not sure about gametime.. should you not be happy that his fixtures are tough? it means he is nailed on to start all of those considering he is literally the only striker at Manutd at the moment(Rooney is not a striker anymore) i'd be more worried if he had 3 home games vs AVL/BOU/WAT/NOR in the 6 after Sunderland cause he could be rested in those...

    Also,
So a few days ago everyone was talking about form over fixture.. and form basically meant a goal or two over the previous games. now there's a 50 million signing for manchester united who has scored 3 goals in 1.5 games and is available for 8 million and people are scared to get him in because of his fixtures post Sunderland? Some consistency to the kneejerkiness on here would be nice

Few interesting points from today's post-match interview with BR

    - Mignolet on thin ice
    - Moreno praised, casting doubts on Gomez' gametime
    - Benteke has tightness in his hamstring

Andy Kelly ‏@AndyK_LivNews 40m40 minutes ago
Rodgers on Mignolet: every keeper you bring in is there to challenge but other factors as well as Mignolet at fault for the game. #LFC

Andy Kelly ‏@AndyK_LivNews 50m50 minutes ago
Rodgers: Says you could see how #LFC supporters responded to Ings' enthusiasm. Also praises Moreno performance.

Andy Kelly ‏@AndyK_LivNews 50m50 minutes ago
Rodgers: Danny Ings was outstanding but we lost concentration at a setpiece which was disappointing. Confirms Benteke had tight hamstring

I wouldn't have Costa in my team ever. Horrible b*stard.

This. I think he's the best option for Chelsea attack but I couldn't live with myself celebrating his success.

Is ditching Shaw,Silva and Diouf for Evans. Payet and Martial worth it for a hit?

Dont see a lot of CS for Reds and Moreno isn't nailed.

Considering Sanchez > Mata this week and then possibly Mata > Hazard next?

    Good move?

Why not immediatly Sanchez > Hazard?

I think Utd at home to Snland is an easier fixture than Newcastle away.

I wouldn't mind seeing another good performance from Hazard also

    Myhill / McCarthy
    Kolarov / Williams / Darmian / Martin / Prodl
    Hazard / Chadli / Ayew / Payet / Mahrez
    Benteke / Aguero / Wilson

0FT, should i take a hit to transfer out Darmian or Benteke?
Any help would be appreciated!! 🙂

Exact money for Diouf to Martial, or just sell that expensive lump Costa?!

Diouf to Martial is an excellent transfer in my opinion

It's option I have, but if diouf is fit he has better run of games and not like Stoke aren't scoring goals

      Im sticking with diouf.

Reasons I got him were for the fixtures and that is still valid. Stoke are still scoring as well.

Lot of points chasing going on with martial. He will still be there in a week or two if he keeps it up.

Sanchez (C) is an interesting differential next week.

Points waiting to happen and it ain't like Leicester are tight by any means.

Would like to have 3 manu players for next week, as im going to watch the game, and i find it more enjoyable if you own some of the players on the pitch.

Have darmian at moment, thinking of getting martial for aguero and

    A Mata for pedro
    B Mata for ayew
    C smalling for gomez

What's the most efficient way to get Martial in my team:
    http://i.imgur.com/JsfB24N.png

Aguero vs Spurs feels like a no go
    Sanchez vs Lei seems promising

    So either Gomis>Martial and Wilson>Ighalo
    or Gomis>Martial and Sanchez>Pedro

    Decide for me!

    Cheers

Oh man, picking a captain GW8 will be difficult. Payet vs Newcaste, Mahrez vs Norwich, Wilson vs Watford or City vs Sunderland.

Kolarov/Aguero/KdB, Mahrez, Payet - in that order

Pelle isn't even in contention as Watford has been really really solid defensively
