AOA is such a useless chip. Really the only way it helps is if all 8 of your attackers get returns or you only have two playing defenders.

well everyday there are people complaining about benched points and not sure who to bench. AOA serves the purpose.

at gw7 i dont think people will think "for the season"..payet will have his moments and similarly there might be period where hazard is undroppable

I'm not sure about Chelsea's playing style at the moment. With pedro in the team I'm worried Hazard with now be used less as an out ball and payet seems to be in the think of action a lot more. The extra money could go a long way!

Countinho scores screamers 1 every 10 game and then doesn't do any except shoot off target.

@Kolarez I had depay few weeks backs but looks like Mata is back in the fold now. Too expensive for a "5th mid".

On the other hand since not many premium strikers are firing 3-5-2 might be the way to go... ?

Caroll returning would decrease Sakhos potential in anyway?

    Weighing up Pedro+WIlson > Vardy+Payet or
    Gomis+Wilson >Vardy+Sakho

Really like the look of Chelsea fixtures and would keep Pedro if Sakho more or less matches Payet

    Myhill (4.5), Butland (4.5)
    Kompany (6.2), Darmian (5.7), Prodl (4.5), Richards (4.5), Gomes (4.7)
    Sanchez (11.0), Yaya (8.7), Pedro (9.5), Payet (7.7), Mahrez (6.0)
    Kun (13.1), Wilson (5.7), Ighalo (5.0)

    0.1 ITB, 2 FT's

What's my best option if Wilson's is ruled out long term (selling prices in brackets)

    A) Wilson to Vardy and Butland to Hennessey (play Myhill very week)
    B) Wilson to Vardy and find the 0.6m required elsewhere (where ?)
    C) Wilson to Gestede and upgrade Gomez

not sure how you'd fit a 10.4mill with Sanchez and City mid unless you drop Aguero ahead of New and Bou fixtures..(not gonna happen) Not for me and fixtures poor.

Need a forward for 3 weeks (gw8-gw10; after that I wc)
    I have 7.3 to spend.

    Rondon? Ighalo? Vardi? Gomis?

I would have said Gomis, but his half time withdrawal yesterday is a concern. I'd watch the CPL WBA game closely and if Rondon or whoever CPL play up top look good then I'd have a gamble on them.

That being said, its difficult to ignore Vardy's form. I'm likely getting him this week.

Can I have some advice on the ighalo v vardy as Wilson replacement please?......

Vardy uses up all my funds and already have mahrez.....

I have much more flexibility with ighalo....with cash in the bank that makes it much easier to upgrade pedro to hazard if I want....

So who do I go for?...ta

Look at the larger picture: LEI are scoring goals even in defeat. WAT are not. Mahrez and Vardy are both simply essential right now.

      No brainer for me.

I'd tend to agree. I'm having the same issue as the flynny... Think I'm going to go Vardy unless scores big today.

    Morning all,

Really struggling to avoid the temptation of wildcarding this week. Whatcha think?

    CURRENT SQUAD
    Ruddy, Rudd
    Kolarov, Bellerin, Huth, Coates, Targett
    Sanchez, Pedro, Mane, Mahrez, Sinclair
    Aguero, Pelle, Wilson
    Bank 1.3m, 1FT

    A) WC to the below
    B) Wilson -> Vardy and fix the defence over the coming weeks
    C) Coates & Wilson -> JEvans & Vardy (-4)

    WILDCARD SQUAD
    Myhill, McCarthy
    Kolarov, Bellerin, JEvans, Cedric, Janmaat
    Sanchez, Walcott, Mahrez, Sakho, 4.4m
    Aguero, Sturridge, Vardy

Tripping up on arsenal seems excessive. Walcot will still be rotation risk.

      Defo B... Maybe C

Cheers. I does, but they have decent fixtures and with Sanchez and Walcott you essentially have the biggest goal threat mid in the league and an OOP fpl gold player. Fixtures ain't bad either.

I'm not sold on Sturridge with a WC yet, so he could get downgraded to enable another big hitter in midfield (e.g. KDB). Could probably also squeeze a bit more cash out of defence if needed to get some CHE in.

        My bench is in tatters!

Okay well if you still have your wildcard... Ask yourself when else would I use it before GW19?

If you can't find an answer and you want to change 5+ players in your current squad. Now may not be a bad idea.

Your team is fine.. i am in a similar state too. do B) and play 3 at the back/use AOA over the next 1/2 weeks... then swap pit Coates for Evans. u'd basically be playing ur WC to improve your 3rd defense spot and GK. does not seem worth it

Chers Valar, I've already played my AOA chip unfortunately 🙁

Fair point re the wildcard - Walcott, Sturridge, a decent keeper and a strong squad is mighty tempting though!

Press the button mate. You're bleeding money in defence, have no GK, a too expensive 5th mid and an injured forward.

Think you're a week early on Walcott though. Not likely to start three straight games (Giroud suspended in ECL)

That's a good point about Walcott, although Wenger does normally stick with a player if on form (which Wally is). As Valar mentioned above though, I'd only really be improving the fringe players of the squad - perhaps not worth it?

Not sure it's just the fringe! You suddenly have massive choice in defence, big hitters in form (bar Aguero) and are set up with an eye firmly on the fixtures.

All that plus the chance to add TV (offsetting losses already suffered in defence) and of course increase your chances of adding more pts...

    Kun & Wilson out

    Studge & Pelle in

    -4

    Yay or Nay

(Have KDB + Kolarov as city coverage)

I know he's been a shambles so far, but Kun out before NEW/BOU is asking for trouble if you ask me.

Pelle also has 2 tough fixtures in the next 3 and Sturridge has 3 tricky away games in the next 4, so both can wait imo. Both look great picks after that though!

Okay, my FPL is going pretty downhill, I need your help lads. 🙁

    Cech - Myhill
    Nyom, Francis, Dawson, Clyne, Kolarov
Payet, Hazard, Ayew, Mahrez, De Bruyne
    Martial, Vard, Gomis

0 FT, 1.9 ITB, 36 pts, should I go for a hit, WHAT TO DO? :'(

Swansea don't look like the team they were at the start. I'd probably look at changing up one of those two.

Think martial is a difficult one given the up coming fixtures...

think if people are taking a hit for Wilson > Vardy, may as well get Pelle in for a hit if you don't have the 2+ itb, great form, great underlying stats and great fixtures as well. next 6-

    che
    LEI
    LIV
    BOU
    sun
    STO

a shaky Chelsea, a leaky Leicester, Liverpool who Gestede showed that they struggle against an aerial threat and then three lower table teams, I think he's a great pick.
