So can we say Walcott is nailed on yet?

I was back and forth between Walcott and Sanchez on my wildcard, went Walcott in the end, which was looking great when he banged in Arsenal's first. But then we know what happened there.

    So....

    1. Hold Walcott

    2. Walcott to De Bruyne

    3. Get Sanchez back in for Walcott (will involve a -4 hit)

    Input very much appreciated

The points keep coming in and playing quite forward. Every WC needs a punt, Tadic is a decent one, for me.

I am trying to find a way to have both Kun and Sturridge. If they start firing, i could be a massive differential against ppl who WCed already. Don't know if it's the way to go though...

A little too weak in the mid for my taste. How much ITB? I would upgrade Tadic, or at least have the funds to do so without taking a hit. Would also consider Drinkwater as my fifth mid.

Not sure on Myhill and a 4.0 given that he won't be first choice permanently. Slight chance he even loses his place to Lindegaard before Foster's back.

Other than that pretty solid. Unlike TM I love the Tadic pick. What's not to like at that price?

Tadic has good value, but with only 1 premium mid, it looks a little too weak and inflexible.

Possibly but he has two premium strikers whereas most teams only have one at the moment. He's still flexible just not in exactly the same area.

Best defender 4.7m or less, so I can get Vardy and I can't afford J.Evans

    A) R.Martin
    B) B.Davies
    C) Get Evans and take a punt of Murray upfront for BOU.
    D) Get Evans and go for Berahino up front (I have Myhill too, triple WBA seems crazy)

    Worth a WC?

    FROM:

    Cech - McCarthy
    Clyne - Kolarov - Cedric - Evans - Huth
    Hazard - Couthino - Yaya - Mahrez - Wanyama
    Kun - Wilson - Gomis

    TO:

    Myhill - Butland
    Kolarov - Azpi - Dier - Martin - Francis
Hazard - De Breuyne - Sanchez - Mahrez - Morrison
    Martial - Vardy - Sakho

    Or any suggestions for improvement?

It's a tough one I agree. GK/Defence looks alright for now.

Dont ditch yaya until you know more. Also keep Kun. Wilson seems the most urgent move, but you dont have funds. Wilson and Gomis for Vardy and Sakho for a hit?

    I didn't see the match..

But Watford's attacking stats (2 Shots on target out 15) suggests, this is not a side where you'll be searching for one of your striker.

    Agreed ?

This is why i like having benching dilemmas(obviously there are downsides at times). Gives you breathing room to do early transfers to catch the rises.

        Yeah, this is true.

I put the case forward earlier this morning, and it wasn't popular. But I think I'm doing it. Just prefer the Bournemouth attack so much more than Watford.

Neither am I. He had a good little run last season and that's it. But Bournemouth have impressed me so much and create chances, whereas I feel that Watford (Igalho and Deeney) will struggle for goals.

If you have some extra cash though, get out the sub 6m range as quickly as you can. So much more talent available for 1m more (Vardy, Berahino, Sakho, Diouf etc).

bojan decent punt yes, but i already hav shaqiri, no point doubling, wilson will sell for 5.7 and .6 in bank, so max 6.3, berahino is possible,,,

Fair play to Darmstadt there, bit of a smash and grab equaliser in the 90th to hold Dortmund to a draw.

In GW9, Newcastle's fixtures get a lot more tasty. Consensus on Mitrovic as a punt? Will be the main attacking outlet for the side, scored for fun last season and is only 6.2m.

Ayoze is a much better option from Newcastle

Janmaat, wouldn't want more than one Newcastle player even with the fixtures.

Avoid him, he'll pick up plenty of bookings. Wijnaldum and Janmaat look the best source of attacking pts.

Keep an eye on Ayoze. If he can cement a spot he could be worth a punt.

The thing is, Perez isn't nailed and I doubt he will be, because of thauvin and the numerous other options that we have for the front three supporting the striker.

I agree on janmaat though, he's been our best attacker this season so far, which says a lot about the fall of papiss cisse. Also, as an aside, I don't buy into the newcastle crisis talk despite the Sheff Wed loss. We have had an extremely tough run of games from the start of the season, and, when combined with attempting to learn a new passing, pressing style of football, it was never going to gain a lot of points. Kinder opposition could see Newcastle do very well if everything finally clicks. (I realise this is highly, highly optimistic)

Iv been thinking this. He looks like a really good player and made for the prem. I'll probably wait for him to do something first though.

I'm probably going to take him as a two week punt before wildcarding for GW11.

From GW5-7, centrebacks have been very impressive in terms of Bonus Points returns.

Generally fullbacks had been the ones benefiting most from the system, but especially in the last two weeks they have been awful.

Out of 183 bonus point over the last three gameweeks, fullbacks have only returned 14% (26 bonus points) compared to 24% in August. In contrast, centrebacks have returned 19% (35 bonus points) compared to 16.8% in August.

So in conclusion, fullbacks have taken a huge dip this month in order to benefit forwards and midfielders and (to a lesser extent) centrebacks.

Worth seeing how October will have an effect on this trend...

What about, ignoring price, would Remy or Falcao be a better choice than the ones listed above, given their nice fixtures in the next couple of GW's (SOU, AVL)?

Sorry late reply. I don't think Remy or Falcao would be that much better than the players listed above- certainly not good enough to justify the inevitable transfer out in a couple of games.
