    Is Bony fit yet?
Got a feeling Aguero may drop back into the 3 behind the striker if Silva and Yaya are out

Not sure, but MP rarely deviates from 1 up top. Expect it to be the following if Yaya/Silva are out:

      -------------------Kun
      ---Sterling-----KDB--Navas/Nasri
      ----Fernandinho--Fernando

TBH this is said in the early stages of every year. Over a smaller sample size of less than 1/5 of a season, it is normal for weird teams to be top.

      Still cringeworthy sometimes though haha

I disagree a little. In the past you would have been right but I think the fpl gods are setting the game up so there is more interest and competitiveness later in the season. For the real casual to still enjoy the game when they finally comes back and change their captain or play their wildcard because smelly John from marketing told him he was top of the works money league but was looking dodgy. This year with the price drops being so brutal and price rises few in comparison to years gone by, the casual will be able to ignore the game and return and still be able to put together a half decent squad to continue their lucky run. I'm not saying the ardent fpl player won't eventually return to the top, it's just going to take far longer than previous fpl campaigns.

Thoughts (assuming Moreno and Gabriel are nailed)?

    Begovic Hennessey
    Williams Gabriel Evans Moreno Gamboa

    Aguero Sturridge Vardy

    On a wildcard.

If you are going to include Walcott the risk of rotation makes your fifth mid crucial and Sinclair isn't reliable enough for me, better options in that bracket like hoolahan that will return points much more consistently.

Front 3 is spot on imo, but a couple of rotation risks at the back and if you're struggling for cash to get a playing 5th defender instead of Gamboa then i'd get Berahino in for Vardy.

So bored of this middling team

    Butland/ McCarthy
    Williams/ Kolorov/ Richards/ Target/ Gomez
    Yaya/ Pedro/ Sanchez/ Maherez/ Westwood
    Aguero/ Martial/ Vardy

    0FT 1.7 ITB

    - If Yaya out him to Payet or Sterling is the plan
    - If fit will prob take a hit and Gomez to Dawson
    - Plan next week for Butland to Begovic/ Myhill

All seems so stale. Any thoughts on this or inspiration for something else? Thanks

I'm on a wildcard and struggling to justify aguero's place in mu team. With a bunch of budget options (ighalo, murray, ayoze, deeney), so mid-priced strikers who are doing well (pelle, lukaku, martial) and some 'heavy-hitters' who are showing sugnd of coming back to form (kane, sturridge) plus costa's fixtures on return from ban, you can set yourself up with a very decent frpm 3 and use the aguero money elsewhere...

I'd probably want double City mids in that instance, considering the fixtures and their firepower.

Like many I picked Pedro up when he actually looked like a good footballer!

As it stands, with Chelsea's need for immediate results, is there a reasonable possibility that Willian will oust him at the weekend?

He did not look like a cracker. He was talked up, by people who wanted to big themselves up, by showing that they knew all about foreign footballers.

As a fixtures junkie it wouldn't take much persuasion for me to consider doing Sanchez to Pedro (that was my plan before the weekend's games played out)! Fairly sure it would be a terrible plan but I still think Pedro can return points simply because I expect Chelsea to steamroll some of their upcoming opponents and he stands a reasonable chance of being involved.

I'm pretty bad at this game most of the time though 🙂
