Forget two fat ladies, in ScoutCast Bingo it’s all about three men with paunches chatting Fantasy Football fortunes, rattling out a few familiar clichés along the way.

Thanks to Numb’s witty community contribution, this week’s episode finds us gripping our dabbers in preparation for mispronunciations, dropped connections and a regular helping of “blimeys”.

Around those fun and games, we tackle the serious matters – assessing the merits of Sergio Aguero, Callum Wilson’s replacements and my range of Christmas jumpers.

All those hard-hitting issues are addressed via another round of community questions, following on from our review of Gameweek 7 as Granville fights the urge to gloat having opened up a 40 point lead over yours truly.

    Just a question for the future.

    Have the rules changed regarding team value building with your wc? In the past I picked the likely risers right after wild carding and built value (a little). Then picked desired team before kickoff. This year it's not possible?? Or have I misunderstood?

      Same as past seasons. If risers only go up 0.1 then you need to work out if you want them in your fina 15.

      Prices certainly don't fluctuate anything like as much as they did a couple of years or so ago.

      You might still get a .5 net value increase on a good week where half a dozen or so players do very well and everyone brings them in over the week. International games GW would be favourite.

    I think I have settled on S. Berahino for my Wilson replacement.

    Seems to be back in the team, transfer saga behind him, back-to-back goals, 14 goals last season, still on penalties and a fixture list that reads cry SUN nor LEI.

    Only real drawbacks are that his team struggles offensively and his personal stats (as a result) aren't great in terms of shots / chances.

          I was thinking doubling up on Leicester is not that bad, I've had Mahrez from the start and Vardy seems to be firing, but I feel uneasy missing on Mata, and Ighalo looks good value. I might go for it 🙂
