Our latest article for members examines one of the key questions facing Fantasy managers this week – the Wayne Rooney vs Robin Van Persie poser.

While Rooney approaches three of his most testing fixtures of the season, Arsenal’s skipper has the opportunity to find form, assisted by a kind run of Emirates encounters. Rooney’s temperament, in light of UEFA’s decision yesterday, adds a further variable to a puzzle that could mark a turning point in our Fantasy seasons. Indeed, two of his five yellow cards last term were picked up against a couple of upcoming opponents, with bookings against both Liverpool and Chelsea.

Using the Opta data and the ICT Index available to our Members, we examine the head to head between the two players, analysing their opponents, form and the background in detail.

I don't think it's technically true that Arsenal have yet to win a penalty in the league this season - they got one in the 8-2 loss to ManYoo didn't they? Van Persie missed.....

I like this article, but my dilemma this week does not involve Rooney....but rather it is RVP vs Aguero. I have Aguero now, and I am definitely going to want him back later, but I'm going to drop Aguero and then Captain RVP this week. Then Aguero has UTD next week so it would be two weeks of a decent upgrade to RVP.

So this was not even a question but just announcement. Right. As you were.

Play Tiote or Dyer? One of them will first sub if Ade doesn't play anyway.

4 point hit to repalce aguero? no extra funds, 11.4 or less. Or roll with this lot?

    Vorm

    Bosingwa, Jones, Woodgate

    Young, Silva, VDV, Arteta

    Aguero, Ba, Odemwingie

    (Simpson, Surman, Brown)
