Just an idea for next season. I think FPL should adapt the chips so you can play them during the week. Take for example this week, there are a lot of players who have a bench full of points. It would be the perfect time to use bench boost. Since these three chips are one time only, you shouldn't get penalised so heavily if they don't work out. It's still a gamble, I had Mahrez on the bench this week and would love his points, but will there be another point in the season where I'll have more points to get?

    I just read through a few newspaper match reports...all lead with Pelle's contribution in some way. It was clearly important, match winning even. He led Southampton to victory. Yet not even one bonus point.

      There are stats for everything nowadays. Heat maps, player distances, average position, etc.
      
      It's no coincidence that coaches are using them more and more including those that moneyball.

  The BPS system is biased towards defenders. A defender who does nothing but get a CS will almost always beat a striker who got just 1 goal or 1 assist.
