Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Whats everyones plan for Kun if he is confirmed fit for Liverpool game? Get him straight away or wait few games?

I will probably wait till Stoke game. Liverpool and Stoke have pretty stubborn defences.

Altough getting Costa for Norwich game is highly tempting especially if Mourinho gets sacked during int. break.

I haven't used his cash on a 5 th mid, just been upgrading defence slowly so I'll be able to get him in whenever.

It might be safer to wait until he seems like he is fit and firing again, but what if he starts rising in price as soon as he is back? Could force people's hands earlier than wanted.

Any potential price rise will definitely be a factor - its a reasonably assured bandwagon.

I was hoping to tie in getting him back with wildcard over international break, but that's all a bit simplistic. Chances are we'll only know last minute.

A surprise bench appearance this weekend would be lovely.

Impossible. This is why I don't understand the tactic on having 8 good options instead of just a budget sub. You will have the sam dilemma every week. Pray for an injury 🙂

Yes we have benching issues but it's not a total disaster if you have a great 1st sub on the bench who does well - at least his price will rise. You have to drop someone even if you play 3-4-3, but the difference is that you never had the opportunity to pick a good 5th midfielder in the first place. When Kun comes back then 3-4-3 will become more attractive again because of the lack of dosh.

In a very similar boat (Ayew and Ighalo instead of Mane and Bony). Payet is actually one I'm very reluctant to bench as Everton are very leaky at the moment.
Am actually thinking of one of the trio Vardy, Mahrez,Ighalo. Think this one will be a low scoring one, and doubt all 3, or even just the 2 of Lcstr, will perform

      1. Whats the Huth
        • 10 Years
        10 years, 1 month ago

You simply can't bench Vardy or Mahrez.
I've got Ayew also. But I'm reluctant to bench him vs Norwich. Payet is one in tinkling of benching. But really. We should be benching Ayew.

I didn't sell Ayew because of these games against Norwich and Bournemouth. Seems so wrong to bench him now... I think I'll bench Ighalo. Benched Mahrez last time out and missed out

I feel Kane is wildly overpriced at the moment. Plays quite terribly, and the last 2 games are a fluke.

I'm more upset about Spurs CS (double Lloris + Toby). Villa looked toothless and CS seem on the pocket, until the fecker Mason came on and made stupid mistake for Ayew scored (and very unlucky too, shot deflected Vert).

Next 3 are not that hot to be honest, but he keeps on scoring.

In a draft league i would want both West ham and Saints cover for when thy have favorable fixtures at any point in the season. It's more long term in a draft rather than chopping and changing

Payet and Mane will both score well so I'd go Mane if I had Sakho for example, or Payet if I had Pelle /Tadic

For the avoidance of doubt, points awarded in-game are subject to change up until one hour after the final whistle of the last match of any given day. Once the points have all been updated on that day, no further adjustments to points will be made.'

This is what Fpl always say on their emails and in the rules. Were the Rose / Kate points adjusted in time? Just that it may be important for some manager of the month prizes etc.

Can't decide between him and Deulofeu for a midfield punt and it may come down to the one who is likely to get most game time

Another disappointing GW comes to an end..
    Good riddance.

Please advise on how best to move forward.
Need to save money for the Aguero return too so can't afford a big upgrade in defence.

Martial out for Lukaku maybe.. but he doesn't exactly inspire me either.

    Schmeichel
    Dawson, Toby, Kolarov
    Sanchez, KDB, Mahrez, Payet
    Vardy, Martial, Pelle

    Subs: Butland, Ward, Francis, Westwood

    4.3m in account, 2ft..

the chances of him scoring this game are independent of what he has done in the past unless yuou buy into improved chances thrugh confidence , which would then in fact elevate his chances of scoring!

confidence is HUGE for a striker. That's apart of why he has kept scoring the way he has. Also look at Kane last year compared to now.

I only just realised Janmat was 4.9m

I think the main reason for all the interest in Janmaat was because of his potential attacking returns. He looked like Newcastles best attacker for a few games.

At least that's why I got him.

Fair enough. I don't have the same faith, but I'm investing in Moreno for a similar reason, knowing that they haven't been the most defensively solid team in the past, but are looking better and have great fixtures coming up after City.
