    How long does it take Aguero to score following an injury?

    This is some quick data I've pulled from transmarkt.ie. The numbers at the end in brackets are the minutes played in each match until he scored. For example if it was 2nd game after being back from injury that he scored then the second number would be the game he scored in. Only prem matches taken into account!

    Out for 3 games (knee) - Scored in 2nd game back (85, 90)

    Out for 1 game (hamstring) - Scored in 3rd game back (9, 90, 90)

    Out for 2 games (knee) - Scored in 2nd game back (19, 19)

    13/14

    Out for 1 game (Minor injury) - Scored in first game back (79)

    Out for 5 games (calf) - Scored in first game back (28)

    Out for 8 games (various) - Scored in 3rd game back (22, 57, 64)

    14/15

    Out for 5 games (ligament) - Scored in 5th game back (23, 90, 84, 90, 73)

    Not sure if this data helps in any way really but I know a lot are pondering staying clear and perhaps they'll be right. Will be interesting to see.

    Personally I'll be looking to bring him back in almost straight away - he doesn't tend to take long to start firing and as someone who hasn't had Vardy in their team all season I'd like a differential - 2 FTs and plenty of cash in the bank, should be easy enough to get him in. Hardest choice is who leaves.

      We also have to bear in mind, those seasons they also had Negredo/Balotelli, Dzeko, Jovetic. Now there is only an injured Bony and a rookie in Iheanacho.

      If his recovery goes well he should play the first game back.

        This is where I am too. As soon as he scores and is playing regularly I'll get him back for sure but until then I'd rather stick with others who are playing 90 mins week in week out and in form. The only risk with this is missing out on a big haul but I think that's unlikely. He'll probably get a few goals under his belt before banging in his next hattrick.

      Yep why not. Sure he could be rotated if his form drops, but he's a 5th midfielder who you could play and will have a better chance of returns compared to the other spuds we all have.

    I like to be price aggressive and this is the part of my game I findest difficult to curb.

    But curb I will.

    Jumping the gun on Ozils price would be without regard for forward Aguero planning. So I need to look at all the options and have the Payet, Bellerin, Vardy info.

    Yaya Touré and Raheem Sterling are all better options than Kevin De Bruyne in my opinion. When Sergio Agüero is back you could downgrade Kevin De Bruyne so it's easier to get him.

      They'd better- that is ONE pricey MF/F combo...about as high as it can get. A Goal or assist from each will be mandatory at that layout, every week (or 2 G or A in one week, a blank the next).

            totally agree with you. Something has been missing for the last few matches. Maybe it's just the lack of Silva's creativity, but I'm not sure. Also I can see Liverpool really doing a great game at Etihad. Likely to be a match with lots of goal imo

    Currently have Schmeical & Butland, and missed out on Butland's big hauls through rotation.

    On WC, any sense in keeping Butland or do I just find the cash for DDG and Hennessey and then one less worry?

      Keep KDB. Since his first game he has always been involved in a goal (in the premier league) every time city score. The only games he has blanked are the two games city didn't score.

      Sanchez is more explosive than Ozil but Ozil consistent returns will balance out Sanchez's big hauls. Since gw 7 sanchez has scored 53 points (20, 16, 10, 2, 3, 2). In that same period Ozil has.......you guessed it 53 points (5, 13, 12, 5, 10, 8).

      Aguero and Silva will be back soon, perhaps even as early as next gw so KDB will only start returning more.

    Given that he's hardy covered himself in glory for his behaviour in the past I have a feeling he may be on for more than a single match ban....Plus....if I remember right other players have served bans for that gesture, but how long did they get banned for?
