Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla are sidelined with injuries picked up at Norwich last weekend. Watford will make a late decision on Heurelho Gomes’ fitness, Micah Richards is a concern for Villa, whilst West Ham’s Diafra Sakho is set for a period on the sidelines.

Earlier this morning, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Theo Walcott and Laurent Koscielny might be ready to return for the visit of Sunderland – both face late assessments tomorrow. The Gunners boss admitted he was uncertain over Alexis Sanchez’ likely return date, though Santi Cazorla could be sidelined until March. Kieran Gibbs is back for the Gunners after missing the trip to Carrow Road with a calf complaint.

Micah Richards is a big doubt for Villa’s trip to Southampton – he’s hardly trained all week due to a knee problem. Gabby Agbonlahor is back in training whilst both Jose Angel Crespo and Tiago Ilori are still sidelined. Remi Garde has confirmed that Jack Grealish remains unavailable for first-team selection due to recent off-field issues. Elsewhere, Ciaran Clark serves a one-match suspension after earning a fifth yellow card of the season last weekend.

Slaven Bilic has conceded that the Hammers are set to be without Diafra Sakho for “a few games, definitely” after the Senegal international sustained a thigh injury during last week’s draw against West Brom.

Jermain Defoe and Seb Larsson have both been ruled out of Sunderland’s trip to Arsenal, Sam Allardyce confirmed yesterday. Jack Rodwell is also unavailable for the Emirates encounter due to a hamstring problem.

Tony Pulis has revealed that West Brom will assess “one or two knocks and niggles” ahead of their home clash with Spurs. Claudio Jacob sits this one out through suspension, though Chris Brunt is back in contention after serving a one-match ban.

Ryan Mason has been ruled out with an ankle injury for Spurs’ trip to the Hawthorns. Dele Alli is available again after serving a one-match ban, whilst Nabil Bentaleb and Nacer Chadli are close to returning to training.

Swansea left-back Franck Tabanou is the only absentee ahead of their Liberty encounter with Leicester.

Quique Sanchez Flores will make a late assessment on Heurelho Gomes’ fitness after the keeper was forced off with a head knock last week. Valon Behrami remains sidelined for the Hornets, whilst Adlene Guedioura is expected to shrug off a minor knock. Sebastian Prodl has returned to training but will not be available in time for the visit of Norwich.

Alex Tettey has recovered from injury and has been passed fit for Norwich’s trip to Vicarage Road.

Leicester’s Ritchie de Laet has been ruled out for a month with an ankle injury sustained in training. Matty James stepped up his recovery from a long-term knee injury with a midweek run out for the reserves but is likely to miss out due to a lack of match fitness.

Cheick Tiote and Jamaal Lascelles are both unavailable for Newcastle’s home clash with Arsenal. Mike Williamson – who was recalled from a loan spell at Wolves to cover for Lascelles – has picked up a hamstring injury in training and is also ruled out.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Should I sell Rojo for a hit this week?
If I don't I'll have to play either Cedric or Hutton!
Other defenders are Moreno and Bellerin

    A. Do nothing
    B. Sign Toby (-4)
    C. Sign Smalling (-4)
    D. Sign Zouma (-4)
    E. Sign someone else (-4)

Playing All out Attack this GW. Thoughts on this?

    Cech
    Bellerin - Moreno
    Delofeu - KDB - Tadic - Ozil - Mahrez
    Benteke - Lukaku - Ighalo

Any changes? Have Dier on the bench so thinking of taking Bellerin out.

    DDG

SAGNA BELLERIN CEDRIC (SIMPSON - Janmaat)

I'm nervous that Cedric might not play, but better to let SIMPSON come in for him than do Janmaat----> Moreno -4, yes?

Not only for the fact of the -4 but also I would then have a bench headache.

Popular player options ranked for GW 15's specific fixtures. Ranked by a little model I made up which takes into account a player's attacking and their opponent's defensive stats over the last 4 GWs to try and capture most recent form. 🙂

    Ighalo: 28.81
    Vardy: 27.80
    Lukaku: 26.72
    Kane: 26.45
    Coutinho: 26.35
    Firmino: 25.34
    Mane: 25.20
    .
    .
    Mahrez: 22.93
    Ozil: 20.64
    Barkley: 20.55
    Giroud: 19.76
    Hazard: 14.04

Have updated it with a slightly modified formula but have had some decent success with it over the last few game weeks. Admittedly in the end its simply a statistical model that can't possibly take into account every variable that determines Goals/Assists/FPL output, but I hope it provides a fairly helpful rough guide for your Captaincy & FPL transfer decisions. 🙂

Note: Players heavily reliant on assists do not do particularly well under this model as it does not place much significance on assist potential/chance creation...since most players I run through are generally goalscoring mids/fwds.

Also, would take Ighalo's score with a pinch of salt. Norwich have really tightened up recently and have had a change in tactics to prevent them leaking goals like they have been doing all season. So, despite their horrible defensive stats they're actual goals conceded is quite low - 5 in the last 4 GWs is quite an impressive upturn.....or maybe I'm just a bitter non-owner 😛

I tried using component B(Big Chances etc.) as a multiplier but instead of minimising its significance it ended up having an even bigger impact on the players' scores. So just left it as it is. However, it does have a much smaller impact on the scores compared to the first component(SiBs, SoT% etc). Component A acts as the foundation of the score with B as a little addition. 🙂

    De Gea
    Bellerin - Nyom - Toby
    Barkley - Ozil (C) - Mahrez - KDB
    Kane - Lukaku - Vardy

Bench = Schmeichel (SWA), Mane (AVL), Francis , Burke.

If kun doesn't play anyone taking him out for a hit? Like for Sturridge or Lukaku or Kane?

He only played 60 odd mins mid week. I love him as a player. Will tear it up if he plays 30mins plus. Unfortunately there is a certain Belgian lurking

Depends how bad the injury is. At home to Swansea next week could be an excellent fixture for him

Yes, for Kane and then just leaving Kun alone until the new year.

OK play either Stones/Wollscheid in place of my injured Rojo? OR Transfer in Moreno or go for the Spud Double with Alder (Already have Lloris)

    Thanks in advance!

Stones. Or Moreno if it's not for a hit and you have nothing more pressing

    Brilliant article by Sarge

    http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2015/12/02/team-form-gameweek-15/

It leaves me in a bit of a captaincy quandary.

    Seriously considering captaining Hazard.

So, its down to 2 options:

    A. Hazard
    B. Mané

Somebody convince me I am not mad!

You're not mad, there are no real stand out options this week and it adds a bit of fun if you have a bit of a punt with the captaincy. This is as good a chance as any for Hazard to stop his goal drought

Yeah, that's my thinking. I also have Lukaku and Kun but due to recovering from injury and fixtures they are not jumping out at me.

First red arrow in while and looking for a differential in ML's to regain the ground.

        Cheers for feedback.

Start by getting rid of Eriksen or hazard for players that are actually scoring points like KDB or ozil

Fancy the idea of captaining Mane at home to Villa, but I'm a bit concerned he'll just be a late sub considering he played 90 on Wednesday and he often seems to be benched after he's played internationals, so it might be a similar situation.

    Thoughts?

Thanks, I will definitely be doing that, any thoughts on which ones? Obvious choices are Silva and De Bruyne, had KDB but took him out at the wrong time. Think i'd favour Silva.
