A total of: 1 goal, 2 assists, and 1 cleansheet this week. I had higher expectations of Sturridge, Gerrard and Adebayor.

So Utd take a hammering, i imagine there will be a fair amount of people ditching Rooney & Nani this week. I for one welcome this as with their fixture run coming i envisage some serious returns.

Nani/Young for VDV as a knee jerk will be very common.

Rooney at Goodison = 2 points, won't feel right playing against Everton - his boyhood club.

However, Utd are home to Sunderland and Spurs at Fulham the week after, so many will want the Utd boys back. Aguero rested for Villareal? RVP at Chelsea, who'd you get rid for Rooney?

Really unsure of what this means for the coming weeks. In reality, this result has been coming for a while. Utd's early season form came from a first XI that was cemented due to injuries and form. In recent weeks the whole team has been rotated and changed, and they are now playing like strangers. Rooney obviously won't get dropped (although he didn't play at EVE last year). But i just hope fergie settles on AT LEAST a regular back 4 for these upcoming easier fixtures.

Good question! Rio and Evra have both been so bad this season, Evra especially really needs some competition for his place. Smalling Jones Vidic Evra (because there is no one else) would be my first XI at the mo. Maybe take a punt on Fabio at LB.

    Vorm (Krul)

Bosingwa, Warnock, Enrique (Simpson, De Laet)

    Nani, Silva, Ramsey, Petrov (Dyer)

    Rooney,Suarez, Adebayor

    2.2 in the bank…

    So many options…..

    Suarez to Ageuro
    Adebayor to sturridge
    Nani to VDV
    Rooney to RVP

OR a combination of the above for 4 point hit

Your advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂 😀

You have to ask yourself what is the potential for Man U and Chelsea to bounce straight back from today's defeats. If you think they will be angry next gameweek, hold on to Nani and Rooney.

In my opinion, its only worth taking hits if you have to because of injury. Nani to VDV could be the best looking move you're suggesting but by the law of averages, he cannot keep scoring every week!

I personally don't see the point. Whatever happened today Aguero is a rotation risk and Nani has some decent games coming up.

Personally I'm in the camp of Nani - VdV being a decent move but I think if you have Sturridge you should keep him on.

Great advice man, cheers 😀 Seriously considering Nani > VDV now. Certainly not deciding until Friday at the earliest anyway. Im just concerned about 2 things. Do you think that Silva alone is enough City attacking cover for next week? Also, I feel that Sturridge and RVP could both have 2 poiners next week, dont you?

It's a tough one to call really, Chelsea have not been solid at the back and RvP has been carrying Arsenal with some truly superb form. Arsenal as always have terrible defence. So the way I see it both could easily enough score and whilst not worth captaining are worth playing.

It'll always be risky only having Silva as City coverage, as they've shown a few times this season they can truly massacre teams. But it's a risk I'm willing to take to avoid the annoyance of constant rotation.

When it comes to Aguero I think there are just slight nuances in opinion really, I wouldn't say that any team which has him in is potentially any worse just slightly more risky.

1 is not enough cover for man city with the sheer number of goals they scorning and the rotation that goes on.

As for sturridge and rvp, note both teams are not exactly tight defensive so both could be on the score sheet.

Just dont take one gwk to make your decision, unless you going to capt them.

              Brighton & Holve Albion.

First season going fairly good but still get hammered from time to time.

is this due to expansive blackpoolesque tactics/formation or just some bad games

                  Don't know.

My formation is basically a 4-2-4 relying on speedy counter attacks and good finishes from Mackail-Smith and Hoskins. Some teams seem to exploit it. Got some good ideas for the next transfer window at least.

                  You playing?

Think about the player who did poorly, alot had high ownership. You've only really dropped in relation to the City players who did well.

That would be my assumption atleast.

I'm hoping I make up Bosingwa and Sturridge's lost points this weeks in the next three weeks by brining in Kompany and Sturridge starting while Drogba's suspended.

It was. Incredibly bad luck, having your captain sacrifice for a very dubious red card on another player.

Bet you were feeling smug when RVP was on the bench eh?

60 points this week myself, with RVP (C), VDV and Silva. Normally I'd be happy with that but for obvious reasons, coupled with Chelsea denying me €100 I'm a bit p*ssed.

You only get a 3 match ban for violent conduct so he'll only be out for the CC game.

Still considering downgrading him so I can pump some money up into midfield.
