my 3 defenders hughes, bosingwa and enrique scored a total of 0 points, that has to be a record. i have brown and richards on my bench and did simpson> enrique for a 4 point hit as i thought simpson was going to be benched and enrique was long term..

I'd worry more about shipping out Sinclair or Moses.
do not get torres, you wont have a lot of cash to change moses or pilkington. Try Sturridge, Agbonlahor or even Ade and save cash to upgrade mids.
i think alot of ppl wont like the torres move but i do!!! he has to go straight in to the starting XI & played well mid week, might go on a run.

Exactly. I'm sicking of having players then stressing before the team sheet in case they're rested. Nani has good fixtures but look at VDV's history. Would have put him in my wildcard couple weeks back but VDV was still playing right wing at the time
Knee jerk.
Many will do Mata/Young/Nani to VDV to chase this week's points. VDV actually played more than 70mins today which is encouraging. I still have a feeling that Nani and Young will score well at Everton next week but as VDV is on penalties and the rest aren't - it's a reasonable transfer to do.
It wasn't a knee jerk move when I did it this GW. I made some points on it and continue to think it was a smart idea. You can call it chasing points if you want, but I think VDV will outscore Young and potentially outscore Nani by seasons end.
It was a few weeks ago, I'd probably do it as after his showing today, Nani may be replaced with Tony V

So who's bringing in Baines after this GW? Not feeling to confident on Everton doing anything, even if he is on pens and set pieces. What do you guys think?
Not worth it at all this season, despite the set pieces imo. Fact he also costs 7.9m means you'll have to play him in every game, and it feels wrong to have a restriction like that on your team for an Everton defender.
Clean sheets are scarce this season as it is. Most of the points are coming from the strikers, and you don't want to be sacrificing anyone there to fit Baines in. Can't see him repeated the heroics of last season

All great option. If anybody is transferring a midfielder now, I would strongly recommend all of them. In form and with good fixtures.
