    Holiday Shoppers,

    If you were starting your FPL team this week with a 100m budget, the Dream Team would set you back 76.7m, leaving 23.3m to get a backup GK, two Defs, and a fifth Mid.

    You would then have two choices:
    Go the budget/stocking stuffer route and, assuming you spent 17m or so on those four spots, you could come in safely under 95m.
    Or, to get the very best FPL has to offer right now, you could get the next best thing at each of those positions for just 23.2m, coming in at a cool price of 99.9m.

    Yes, the 15 best players in FPL right now cost 99.9m, if my math is correct. I don't know what it all means, but perhaps some VORP discussions might be in order over the next few weeks?

    Got a FT and want Alderweireld in for his form and fixtures, but who to drop?

    Bellerin - Good fixtures, good attacking form. Arsenal are however very defensively shakey with Coquelin out, and I don't see many clean sheets even in the easier fixtures.

    Smalling - Surely undroppable considering all UTD are concerned about is not conceding

    Moreno - Again good fixtures and good attacking form. Liverpool defensively getting better but still shakey. As a bonus he's also incredibly cheap.

    So going by this it seems like only Bellerin can be dropped, but is this a pointless move?
