The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are now available, with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points now added to the game. Once again, there are a few rather surprising benefactors. Here’s how they breakdown…

      Ballotelli scores two (this would usually be greeted with at least 2BP) - Milner get's top spot, but with 2 assists and no goals it's hard to think there's not human intervention, or a change in algorithm?

    Suarez is THE most frustrating player to own under this bonus system. How Gerrard gets one ahead of him I'll never know.

    Also Simpson should have been an absolute cert for some bonus, was at the game and he was was exceptional, with several blocks and key tackles.

      Not saying Gerrard was the one to deserve the bonus but Suarez missed the target loads of times (including hitting the post) I didn't see any way he'd get BPs under this new system.

        true. he also hit the target many times. I don't disagree that under this system he doesn't deserve them, but in general recently he has had 0 despite some good performances

      I thought that too. I mean he was shooting everywhere but in the net but he was still at the forefront of all the moves and despite missing a lot was still playing well. I thought he might get two, certainly more than Gerrard.

    So I guess the big question is, (well for me anyway) do I transfer out Suarez (who was wildly inaccurate yesterday but have West Brom next ) and pull in Aguero or do we think that Aguero is going to be rested vs Wolves?

      Wouldn't do that change. Suarez could easily do well against West Brom and Aguero could easily be rested for the champs league as they have Dzeko and Mario who can play lone striker now.

        Yeah that's what's nagging me. I have a suspicion that a lot of people are going to see that fixture though and bring him in. Which may prove the difference! On your advice I will leave it be. However I will be suing you if you're wrong 😉

      This is no help whatsoever, but I'm going to be fretting over it all week. And I'm very much expecting to make the wrong call.

      I, however, don't believe Aguero will be rested. Dzeko will start in the Carling Cup at Wolves in midweek.

        I'm all of a twitter over it. I'm really worried he won't rest Aguero and being in second place with both first and third holding him already, I can't afford to make a mistake. I'm sure they'll captain him.

        I'm going to hang on until the last possible minute to make this call and see if anyone makes a statement regarding selection, and use this excellent site to make my judgment...

      It's the new system. As far as I can remember, Balo missed a couple and other players did better. RVP probably had more shots on target.

    First time poster here. Any real value in me bring in VDV for nani this week to chase $ as well as form? I'll Prob be wanting nani back after the this coming GW and could prob use my WC to jailbreak him in somehow by wrecking my defence. Got 54 points this week and currently 731 overall.

    My team:

    Vorm, Hennessey.
    Bosingwa, Kompany, Warnock, Simpson, Woodgate
    Silva, Ramsey, Petrov, Dyer, Taarabt
    Rooney, RVP, Sturridge

    My midfield isn't looking amazing. I've got 2.6 in the bank and I want to get VDV in.
    Would it be crazy to consider getting rid of Rooney and Taarabt to afford him? Maybe take a chance on Torres?

    I said on the last post - Drenthe with a goal and 2 assists yesterday, picked up 3 bonus into the bargain. With Evertons fixtures and a double on the horizon he looks like a great replacement for Petrov.

    i was at the liverpool game saturday evening and although suarez didnt score he was easily the best player on show. any paper i picked up sunday morning he was man of the match and on any other day he could have got two or at least one. a very good reason why he didnt score the weekend was because of the excellent preformance of ruddy in goal he was top class on the day, cant understand why neither of these players got any bonus points. by the way i dont have either of these players i was at the game like i said and these two were the best on show. 10 bps for me from vdv, rvp,the excellent silva brunt and krul very happy with that.

    They have definitely changed the algorithm. I mean, does anyone remember that week when Milner picked up 3 bps after he came on for 15 min and scored one goal? You cannot tell me that the bps here are awarded on the same basis. In fact, the change seems to have taken place a few weeks back.

    Who is getting rid of Bos? Has he become more of a rotation risk? Even if he hasn't Chelsea aren't keeping CSs. Bos to ShawX/Walker (if King is fit) are both possibilities.

      Looks very good Yesot. I dont think a WC is needed, International breaks are good to gain value but during the last one there weren't that many rises.

      I too was looking at holding to my WC but would need to take a few 4 point hits to gert a decent team my current team is
