The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are now available, with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points now added to the game. Once again, there are a few rather surprising benefactors. Here’s how they breakdown…

          Little superstar. Playing Non-League football as of 3 or so years ago where he scored 20 or so goals in around 30 games. Had a decent rise up the Football League and we signed him from Huddersfield, despite the fact he was recovering from knee injury.

                I think he's nailed on. He's been the better of our three wingers (Pilkington, Bennet and Crofts) and he's creating chances. Not only that, he's cutting in a bit and providing another outlet for Hoolahan and Morrison.

                IMO, he's been our Player of the Year so far, that's how much I rate him.

              I dont see him getting dropped to be honest.
              He was sharp in his limited time up against Liverpool, and pretty much everybody was non-existant against City.
              Nani is still one of the best wingers in the EPL.
              Just out of curiosity, who are your midfielders? You dont have Young/Nani/Mata
              Have you got Lamps or Gerrard in there?

              Personally reckon Young would be dropped before Nani. He's been poor the last two games, drifted out of them. Nani always has a moment of magic in him even if he's playing poorly and is less easy to work out.

            Yeah I agree. There are going to be United casualties for the Everton match and I can see Nani being dropped in order to tighten up that midfield. Certainly can't see Young and Nani playing at the same time in a 4-4-2 again this season.

            (then again second guessing Ferguson is a fools game.)

              THIS SEASON?!? There are 7 MONTHS to go! One result does not change everything, Nani and Young will play together. OK maybe not in the big matches but I think everyone is over-reacting hugely to this result. At the end of the day, it was 3 points, and three of those goals were scored in added time. 3-1 after having had 10 men for the second half wouldn't have seemed nearly so catastrophic.

    Is anyone else now really, really confused what to do about Man City forwards? Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

    City look like getting a hatful every game, but three into two won't go.

    I'm thinking Balotelli (one of the best five players in the world, remember) over Aguerro so if he's benched then money's freed up for other players.

    I don't often post up my transfers. But I think VDV is looking necessary. Best way for me to get him (without losing the likes of RVP / Silva) would be -4points:

    Bos > Barnett
    Ramsey > VDV
    Anderson > Tiote

    is their anyway to change the tranfers i made yesterday half way through the chelsea game. Bosingwa & Young out VDV and Enrique in. Happy with young to vdv but not sure why i went for enrique. As a utd supporter i was just a tad upset follwing the beating that city gave us. Please help. My knees really do hurt a lot and i prmoise never to have such a reaction again as long as utd dont lose like that again. And I thought Bosman would be out for atleast 1 premier game.

    Finally found a way to cram all the players i actually REALLY want into my WC team. Unsurprisingly...it’s not pretty for the rest of my squad + particularly my defence. Love some thoughts on whether it’s worth unbalancing everything in order to go big on the (current) top points scorers!

    I'm pretty satisfied with my team, but some tweaking is always good:
    Given / Vorm
    Bosingwa / Kompany / J. Enrique / Simpson / De Laet
    Silva / VDV / Ramsey / Cabaye / Dyer
    Suarez / Rooney / Adebayor

    Got 1 FT & 0.6 m in bank, not sure what to do.

    One idea is usual transfer of the week
    Bosingwa -> Shawcross (for better fixtures & against price drop and with extra money might be able to upgrade mid/fw)

    Kicking Cabaye out might be decent idea, but I will wait after Everton game before City/United/Chelsea run.
