I don't know about Alli I tend to like a cheap 5th mid or having a good expenive 5th mid I may look to Ramsey or Walcott
Fair point. I did that move 2 weeks ago and got burned last week by having Alli on my bench. I got him in with the next 2 spurs fixtures in mind though and the strong risk of rotation elsewhere. It has allowed me to still have plenty of money in bank for Kun too

I have just 1ft but 6.1m in account.
Here is some rationale.
Would love to hear others opinions..
Trying to move up from 380k and catch a ML leader who is 70pts ahead..in money league.
1. Not everyone can afford such a move right away.
I look around at my rivals and note they wouldn't be able to make this move right away.
If it works out it would give a big advantage to me.
Need to find something slightly different than the template for now.
2. Vardy on the decline.
Stats are showing he is not as threatening. Throw in his impending suspension and difficult fixtures.
Mahrez will be enough Leicester coverage one feels.
3. Aguero is slowly back into it.
60 mins on the button v Arsenal.
Probably 70 this weekend at home to Sunderland.
He did well enough against a good Arsenal team away.
A goal and an assist in 70 odd mins at home to Sunderland isn't impossible.
This move is fraught with danger of course.
Worst case scenario is that he is injured again early in the game.
Think though with the situation I have found myself in- Its a risk worth taking..
Kdb, Mahrez, Ozil, Wijnildum, Stan
Vardy, Lukaku, Kane my current attack.
What do ye think?

I'm not sure that it's the best way to claw back a 70pt deficit, though.
I'd go for it. I doubt the ML leader (or many people, to be honest) will captain Vardy. And while he may be good for 6 or so points regularly, that's not going to break you if Aguero blanks. Seems like the potential upside outweighs the risk.
I really want to get him also but would have to be at kanes expense.

Just made that move myself (easier for me on wildcard) but lost a lot of value in vardy.
Need to break these templates. A couple goal involve tabs for Aguero would mean the scramble and hits would start. It's a huge risk but when better than Sunderland at home when low owned?

If you held your team and your main rival did this move, would you be worried? Or would you be MORE worried being the one making the move?
For me it's overwhelmingly the latter... which is why it's a punt and why the risks outweigh the costs in my opinion

if he blanks, well could be a few dissapointed people, chances are you will be taking a goal scorer out for him so aguero would need to do better to make trans worthwhile, and suppose you would have to cap him if you bring him in..so for time being not worried yet about having him, but when/if more bring him in thats when i dont like it when i see the aguero owners and captainers
i had aguero cap for 5 goals, kept faith even with the blanks before that and was rewarded
if he returns to form then straight back in for me and armband on him, but thats what were all hoping for

Do it, it's only a game, why not allow yourself to have some fun, and you can laugh at your own failure once Vardy inevitably scores a hattrick from 3 shots.

Just a thought on Man City defence and Kolarov's starting chance
Pellegrini has never made more than 1 defensive change to his backline this season at any given time
Sagna: Missing GW8
Kolarov: Missing GW9 and GW16
Otamendi: Missing GW13
Mangala: Missing GW7, GW10, GW11, GW12, GW14, GW15
Zabaleta and Clichy have been the two players that are literally cover for when Sagna and Kolarov need a rest. Now considering Kolarov has been given a rest against Swansea recently, I can't see Clichy getting a game when we think how poor City were defensively in that game.
When Kompany returned from injury in GWs 10,11 and 12, there was no rotation/ rest for any other defender, with Mangala simply dropping out for the skipper.
On Monday, Arsenal's goals came from the complete opposite side of where Kolarov plays so if anything, Pellegrini may want to give Zabaleta a run out in place of Sagna (who has played every game this season except GW8). Another possibility is whether Kompany is fit or not - he may decide just to bring Kompany straight in for one of the CBs and leave it as that as he has done in the past.
In a nutshell, if Kompany is fit,Kolarov should start.Good fishy. I've kept him just for this one. Nice research.
