Top of the league at the turn then.

Wenger to sign off with a title and FA cup double before handing over the reigns to Pep?

If we beat Barca over 2 legs I will eat my hat! 🙂

If Wenger wins the league this year it would be quite a good way to go out - on a high and handing over to a manager he wants to continue his legacy.

Really though, the more I think about it, the less convinced I am we're in for Pep.

Yeah, I think City will get him, but we do make a lot of sense for him also. Decent squad, money in the bank and a similar footballing ethos. Timing is unfortunate though with Arsene likely to continue next year.

He could do that at Arsenal also right? We (supposedly) have cash available and a decent young squad to start with.

could happen. pep could be the man to take arsenal to the next level. (consitently challenging for title instead of 4th spoy)

Have 2ft and very little to do
    A) Francis to Ward, spend 0.2m(Francis 3rd sub usually)
    B) Schmeichel to Hennessey, save 0.4m(Butland 1st keeper)

I think B, always good to raise some cash (Aguero/Sanchez)... but really depends if you want to play Palace defence or bench them... it would be more likely that you play Ward than Hennessey

He's a great choice, he's backing up his incredible stats. Don't be put off by price or fixtures.

I'm possibly looking at a Giroud replacement soon, if Aguero doesn't pick up it might be him.

    My Team

    Cech (McCarthy)

Dawson Toby Dann (Wolly & Simpson)

    Mahrez KDB Ramsey Ozil (Stanislas)

    Kane Deeney Lukaku

    6.5 ITB - 1 FT

Which defender would you bench for GW 20?

Anything else that needs taken care of?

So a triple captain chip as early as GW25, while the Bench Boost and WC should be used much later in the season?

I think he suggests the bench boost for a big DGW and triple captain for a small DGW, and save the WC to set up before or after the big DGW.

I'm starting to give up this season. Got kun instead of Harry for last two (captained both) and I've lost so much ground it's barely worth it anymore

Everything that has worked well in the past is useless this season. And the teams at the top all have the same players who keep performing each and every week. It's now impossible to catch up.

Morning fellas. Two freebies and dunno what to do with them. Could free up little cash from somewhere to be ready to get Aguero in for Giroud at GW21.

    Butland
    Simpson, Bellerin, Wollscheid
    KDB, Barkley, Mahrez, Özil
    Giroud, Kane, Lukaku

subs: Hennessey --- Alli, Walker, Moreno --- 2 FT, 3.9 ITB

    A) Barkley -> Arnautovic
    B) Moreno -> Williams
    C) Alli -> Gosling
    D) Something else, what?

    Payet.

Anyone worried about jumping on him straight from a return to injury? I know Aguero and Sturridge have previous but I've been burned already this season.

David Silva is another I got in and just hasn't looked right since. He was better last night but still brought off early.

Given the awesome fixtures is Payet worth the risk from the off? Especially given that his price is 7.7m now

I rarely think it's worth getting a player in straight away after a lengthy lay off. Especially for a team that is struggling for goals like WHU. Definitely one to watch for me.

If Ramsey blanks this week then will swap him for Payet. Im a hammers fan so slightly biased but Payet is so key to us. Similar to Ozil. Everything we do comes though him.

Although a certain Icelandic midfielder is also tempting me as a Ramsey replacement next week...

Nice. Probably a regular then, no wonder contest is tough. If my opponent gets 8 or more from Clyne I am out.

Could depend on BAPS, if Liverpool get a CS then Coutinho gets 3 points..and Moreno gets higher baps than Clyne If I am not wrong

Changes on this team mates :

    DDG
Toby - Moreno - Bellerin (Bertrand)
    Mahrez - KDB - Ozil - Arnaoutovic
    Kun - Kane - Lukaku

1FT. Save or do any transfers?

I literally have no idea what to do with this lot, 2 FT's.

Not sure whether to do Ramsey and Barkley to Walcott and Ali to free up some funds for Silva to KDB. Or whether to get Butland in for Myhill or whether to get Arnie in for Barkley? HELP! or just downgrade Kolorov to free up some funds?

    Myhill
    Bellerin Williams Kolorov Cameron Moreno
    Silva Mahrez Ramsey Ozil Barkley
    Ighalo Aguero Lukaku!

    Butland
    Dawson bellerin Nyom
    Ozil Mahrez Barkley Ali
    Kun Kane Lukaku

Thinking ozil captain Saturday vs Newcastle instead of Kun away at watford
