My team is heavily reliant on Stoke, Arsenal and Everton at the minute feel like I need to mix it up a bit any ideas?

  Walcott is a possibility but moving to Arnie isn't going to help your reliance on Stoke so maybe bank the transfer and keep an eye on Payet

God morning fellow fantasy managers, i am looking for some of your wisdom in my long term strategy.

History: (You can skip this part if you are in hurry!)
It has been a bumpy ride so far this season, it all started very well and was at rank 8K by gameweek 8. From there i went downwards because of some bad punts and some even worse captain selections combined with injuries. So by gameweek 17 i was down at rank 127K, did some drastic changes one -8 & -4 to set the ship straight again, and now i have startet the climb back currently on rank 72K

Current Team: (2FT/106,9TV/1,5ITB)
Butland
Moreno Smalling Koscielny
Barkley Mahrez Özil De Bruyne
Vardy Lukaku Kane

Subs: McCarthy Kolarov Alderweireld Alli

Strategy:
Current team is good, but very template like. Struggling with finding some good differentials that are ready to deliver. But there might be change in a few weeks, players getting back in form and maybe some new signings in January.

So what i think i will do is now that the hectic Christmas season is almost over, i do not need to have and expensive bench anymore. It is time to free up some founds that i can put into the January warchest. I think the right place to free up some founds is in the defense, since i got to much of my team value there. i have rely struggled with finding cheap defenders that play regular and can keep a clean sheet this season, but there has to be someone out there.

Sorry for the long post, but is this the right way forward?

        he scores some goals against poor teams but not so much in the big games. He's probably one of the poorest technical players ever to come to the club. When he arrived one of the coaches said he was the equivalent level of one of the under-12's.
        
        I imagine playing with Lewandowski flatters him hugely.

        Hope he works hard and improves, he is young so maybe there is still time for him to shine in the big games. If you had a chance to watch Poland's games on the 2016 Euros, take a look at his partnership with Lewandowski, they have been working well together in the qualifying stages.

        Unfortunately I've seen him at every Ajax home game, and there's no way we'll ever move to a 4-4-2, so he's got to learn to player as the main striker in the 4-3-3 / 3-4-3.

        Mostly silly, but with a sliver of seriousness: I was just playing around and realised that with two minor downgrades at the fringes of my squad, I could field Butland, two 5m defenders, one 6m defender and the following front seven if I needed to:

        Yeh Manes form at start of season was very good actually.. got some nice returns.. still been involved in 10 goals over 18 games..

        I have a feeling he'll score, but not explode. And that's just as disappointing when there are several players with double digits in your team.
        Still quite early on, key is to not lose any more ground. If you start getting incremental points over your rival, they may be forced in to a differential that doesn't pay off.
