With Spurs winning comfortably at the Lane this afternoon, there’s just one remaining fixture in gameweek ten. Our Members can now pour over the statistics for themselves in our Members Area, with all the Opta data now available and our own ICT Index scores are calculated and available.

Members should log into the Members area to access the player stats tables but can read on now for our usual Sunday evening round-up of the top ICT performers match by match, offering some early clues on the destination of tomorrow’s Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points.

    Question: Had planned to wildcard after GW11 to make up team value and to pick a squad for up to the next wilcard. However, fairly happy with my squad as it is (only about 4-5 players I no longer want). To wildcard or not to wilcard? If not, when to plan for it? Cheers

      If you don't need it don't use it. There is bound to be need or opportunity later in the year, DGW or something will crop up.

        Yeah, I don't think I need it, but I could obviously improve a few things (e.g. 5-6 of my back 7 would go along with Moses and pehaps Sinclair). Swaying towards keeping it, but have itchy finger syndrome....

          I think Given should go along with maybe Dunne and one of the Stoke defenders for another 4m defender.

          Other than that I like the Simpson/Brown rotation for 8.5m and Dunne could go for one of Enrique/Bosingwa(if you're that way inclined) or Kompany (if you put the money from Given towards it).

          Moses should probably go too along with maybe Adebayor, leaving you with the option of a cheap striker and a midfielder like Sess, Petrov or Walters.

          If you can afford to make a few of those transfers over 2-3 weeks then WC isn't needed IMO, especially since Villa and Stoke have good fixtures next week

            petrov only played 51 mins in the most recent game and is usually the first to be subbed off. also 5 points in 3 games against weakish opposition isn't enough

            given and dunne are at home to west brom this week, not the best week to transfer out

              Agreed about Petrov, I was just using him as an example. He could still score well over the next few weeks though.

              Also agree about Villa's next fixtures, I did mention that in my post, but after that it looks pretty grim. I'd hold on for a week then shift one/both, prioritising Dunne.

    Epic fail.

    Transferred out Enrique for Kompany, to take a 4 point hit!
    Points swing of at least 11 for that mistake...uggh.

    Moral of the story...don't be ginger!

    (Enrique 6 vs Kompany - 1 = 7, plus 4 for hit = 11)

      FPL golden rule - never take a hit for a defender.

      You would have needed Enrique to get no more than 2 points and Kompany to get a clean sheet JUST to break even. Madness!

          p.s. I just looked at the ticker and Liverpool have Swansea home next and City have QPR away.

            Chelsea away. Simple? AVB will be focussing on tightening up after this week, so don't see much for Suarez in that game either. I really like Suarez, problem is he's inaccurate shooting means minimal BPs, which add up. That being said, I got rid last week (error) and am half wishing I had him back...

              I just can't see Chelsea keeping clean sheets at the moment! Suarez can arguably score against anyone anyway and it could be an open game.

              The only fixtures that worry me are the City one and Villa away, although I can see him scoring in both.

      Wouldn't get rid of either this week. Both very tasty fixtures.

      Gerrard definitely to go the following week though.

      If you have 1 free, save it. If 2 frees, it's tricky. Probably Gabiddon -> Wilkinson.

        Well I've been in top 1 000 last two years, now about 15 000 despite two suarez captain failures, I must be very lucky guy then.

          I think it comes down to who your captain is, which is a mixture of skill and luck.

          Your captain getting between 1-3 points vs getting 10 or more points really makes the difference.

    Really happy with this GW. Almost did Mata to VDV but then decided to do Cabaye and Bosingwa to VDV and Wilkinson (-4pt). After a horrendous start this season I'm finding myself now slowly climbing up in the rankings.

      Good call keeping Mata and downgrading Bosingwa instead. I'd consider downgrading one of Jones/Kompany/Enrique and upgrading one Dyer.

      Both Sturridge and Ade are difficult to call, both have the potential to do well but there's no guarantee.

    Whats going on lately? Some very average averages haha.
    Last week was up from 250K with a score in the 40's
    This week way up from 190K with a score of 44 (2 points for Dyer, BP's and Wilkinson to come)
    Guessing its the Rooney fail factor? 😕

      Yes Rooney, Nani, Young all failing big time plus even Aguero, Suarez, Mata not living up to expectations in recent weeks (though the latter 3 obviously did well this GW)

      My scores have sucked for the last 3 GWs. I'm WCing. Ive had enough of Dyer, Moses, Petrov, Woodgate, Bos and even dare I say it Rooney- Man Utds new central midfielder and my most expensive player

        Yeah, I think Mata doing well is a major reason I went up...think he is only owned by about 4 % of teams.
        Dyer is a keeper for me at the moment...mainly because he never gets a run haha

        I think Enrique has beaten Adam as well. They've definitely changed the system to have less weighting on goals scored.

        Looks to me like VDV will get 3 while Bale will get 2.

          Not being biased to my captain, but VDV was Tottenham best player yesterday. He was lively and made the difference as always. Not saying Bale wasn't good, but though VDV stood out more. Mind you I don't think I'm being biased D:

            yeah agreed. Looks like they've added a manual override element to the ratings. Perfectly fine with me cos old PPI system sucked when people got 3 points for coming on in the 89th minute and scoring a tap in.

        It's on the Premier League main website under "Statistics". You need to subtract the player's existing PPI score from that which is displayed (as it's a cumulative total).

    Up 520K spots in 3 weeks after I wildcarded. However, Di Santo, Bannan and Given (since i have Begovic) not really looking ideal in my team. Will probably do Enrique->Jones next week. Any advice as to what to do with Di Santo? i have 1.6 in the bank

    Need help with a technical question please:

    Adebayor is counted on m,y team at 8.7 but if I transfer him out I only get 8.3, feels like a big gap?

    Does his value catch up towards next GW or will remain the same?

      Check the rules.

      If you bought him for 8m, you only get 50% of the price increase if you sell him on (rounded down if it's an odd number)

      This means that of the 0.7m increase, you get 50% (0.35m rounded down to 0.3m).
