The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index scores are now available and the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points have now been added to the game. Here’s our breakdown of how they map out for Gameweek ten…

Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5
Van Persie 3, Santos & Walcott 2

The only share of FPL bonus this week comes amongst the Arsenal ranks, with Theo Walcott and Andre Santos tied on identical EA PPI scores having both notched at Stamford Bridge. Robin Van Persie is a clear leader however; he collected the Gameweek’s leading PPI score of 67. Chelsea’s Frank Lampard ranked third overall in this match but was denied bonus by the tied Arsenal pairing.

Everton 0 Man United 1
Hernandez 3, Evra 2, De Gea 1

Javier Hernandez’s strike proved decisive at Goodison and, not surprisingly, proved enough to earn him the highest EA PPI on show and the three bonus points. In a game devoid of any strong attacking performers, it was two United defensive players who ranked next, with Patrice Evra recording a PPI of 24 thanks to assist. David De Gea’s saves fetched him 21 PPI this week. Ji-Sung Park just missed out on bonus with a PPI of 20.

Norwich 3 Blackburn 3
Hoilett 3, Johnson 2, Samba 1

As we predicted last night, it was Junior Hoilett who emerged with the top ranked PPI score and the maximum bonus. Indeed, our forecast for this game proved spot-on, as Bradley Johnson and Blackburn’s Chris Samba picked up the remaining points. Morten Gamst Pedersen and Norwich’s Steve Morison were just a couple of PPI points behind that trio.

Tottenham 3 QPR 1
Van der Vaart 3, Bale 2, Lennon 1

Tottenham’s in-form Dutchman prevails for the maximum bonus – surprisingly recording a stronger EA PPI than two-goal hero Gareth Bale. Van der Vaart’s PPI of 63 will be broken down in our Scout review of the weekend tomorrow but, right now, it looks as though his efforts on target played a part in him nicking top spot from Bale. Aaron Lennon, with two assists from yesterday’s game, earned the remaining bonus.

Man City 2 Wolves 1
Kolarov 3, Dzeko 2, Johnson 1

The winning goal from Aleksandar Kolarov was enough to earn him the top PPI score in this match, just edging out Edin Dzeko in second spot. This again, was a tough one to predict and, while we went for Yaya Toure in our forecast last night, he was ranked fifth, with Adam Johnson recording a PPI of 23 to fetch the remaining bonus point.

Sunderland 2 Aston Villa 2
Petrov 3, Sessegnon 2, Larsson 1

It’s no real surprise to see Stylian Petrov on top of the PPI scores given his goal and assist contribution to the 2-2 draw. Stephane Sessegnon matched him with an identical return, but the Villa man came out on top in the PPI stakes with a 5 point advantage. Seb Larsson collected the remaining bonus courtesy of his assist for the late equaliser, denying Villa’s Richard Dunne by just a single PPI point.

Swansea 3 Bolton 1
Allen 3, Gower 2, Sinclair 1

Our prediction proved accurate for this one, as Joe Allen earned another three bonus points for his second consecutive goal and a busy midfield showing. Mark Gower’s creativity and industry was reflected with another strong PPI return, although it was very tight amongst the Swansea ranks. Scott Sinclair nudged in for a single bonus point with his third spot-kick of the season; there was just a single PPI point between him and Angel Rangel. Indeed, the next four players were separated by just a single PPI point, as the Swans dominated the PPI rankings.

West Brom 0 Liverpool 2
Carroll 3, Agger 2, Enrique 1

Andy Carroll came out on top in this game, just denying Dan Agger a share of the maximum bonus by a single PPI point. Indeed, with a clean sheet at the Hawthorns, Liverpool’s defensive players fared well here. Jose Enrique picked up a single bonus point, while both Martin Skrtel and Jose Reina were also highly placed in the PPI rankings. Charlie Adam also ranked well and was perhaps unfortunate not to see bonus rewards. Luis Suarez fetched a PPI of 12 – again efforts of target appear to have dented his bonus prospects.

Wigan 0 Fulham 2
Dempsey 3, Dembele 2, Sidwell 1

Clint Dempsey did enough to squeeze past Moussa Dembele for the maximum bonus in this game, as the Fulham pairing dominated the PPI rankings. As we predicted last night, Steve Sidwell came in for the single bonus point, although he trailed Dembele by 8 PPI points, sneaking past Mark Schwarzer in fourth by just 2 PPI points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I think I was one of the very few to watch the Norwich game live and Pilkington was very unlucky as he got in loads of crosses and also had a shot or two. Looks a very decent FPL prospect and easily the cheapest out of the lot.

'tis awesome. Sold him in GW8 and it's probably the best thing i've done so far this season!

Saying that i've had zero United coverage for about 4 weeks now and it's getting a bit silly. Anyone else considering Hernandez over Rooney? He's a hell of a lot easier to get into my team, perhaps for Suarez in GW12

There's going to be risk having him but at 5.3m it may just be worth the risk. I'd expect him to start most of the upcoming games given our recent performances.

Picked up a knock vs Everton though so keep an eye on that before making any moves. He should be ok though.

Mulling over a few options but the main one is

        Drenthe + Jones

        or

        Ramsey + Walker

Can only afford the Ramsey move if Walker and Ramsey don't go up and Bosingwa and Petrov don't go down.

That is a tough one, have you got both Enrique and Shawcross?
If not, i'd say one of them 2 and Ramsey are better options.
Walker is a brilliant player but Spurs dont have the most reliable defence.

    Given, Ruddy
    Kompany, Bosingwa, Boyata, Simpson, Wilkinson
    Mata, Silva, vDV, Moses, Dyer
    Sturridge, Suarez, RvP

Thought i had a decent team but then realised my defence has gone from looking pretty good to not sure if i'll be able to field 3. Kompany obviously suspended, Boyata injured and then another 2 (possibly 3) are rotation threats. Wanted to downgrade Bosingwa for attacking options but seems my defence is in more trouble that i thought.

I have the two of them and am actually looking to shift both out in the next few weeks. Mainly because i have too much money tied up in defence rather than thinking they will perform badly. May sell Bosingwa this week and then Enrique next week. Not sure how secure Bosingwa's place in the team is.

I don't get why so many are ditching Rooney right now with United's favourable upcoming fixtures. I'm guessing a lot are doing the easy swap of Roon -> RVP, but I think both are essential to have imo.

Yes, Rooney hasn't scored or assisted in the last 3 games but when you break it down, it was always going to be a tricky 3 games for him. Liverpool away, he was benched after the Int. break so it was always hard to do anything in twenty odd minutes, away to the old enemy. The Manc derby was a freak result, and it was always hard for United to get forward after going a man down against one of the best defences in the league. Everton is always a difficult game for Rooney and getting dropped deep was unhelpful.

On top of the hard last 3 games, he's had the whole Dad and Uncle betting scandal to deal with and Rooney is the kind of player who does not play well or think rationally when something is on his mind, hence his sending off for England. But I think enough time has elapsed for him to get his mind back on football and the fixtures (at least next ten games) now are much more favourable, and Rooney won't be kept in midfield against the likes of Sunderland, Newcastle and Wolves at Old Trafford. Rooney could score big again in all of them and he's still the safest starter in a highly changeable United attack. Transferring him out now would be a big mistake, just saying.

Well in the scout notes (I think) from Saturday there is a quote saying he needed to move Rooney back to strengthen the midfield and that it worked well.

I like Chicarito too and if he's starting most games, then I would consider getting him for Rooney. But for now, Rooney is still their safest attacking starter. I think against easier opposition at Old Trafford, Fergie will be less cautious and have Rooney further up. Plus he's still on freekicks and pens, which United get loads of.

either OPTA is dodgy or the members stats are dodgy. enrique blatantly was helped to his bp with his shot on target, one which doesn't show up in the stats. also there is no way petrov would never have got 3bps if he actually had 2 of his 3 shots off target, looking at commentary on the game he seems to have inherited a rogue shot off target in the stats. similarly mata seems to have inherited a rogue shot in the stats, one which would have lifted him above lampard if it actually happened.
VDV getting 3, larsson getting 1 and enrique grabbing 1 show shots on target are important, not simply because it's not a shot off target.

    I reckon I'm going to do N.Taylor > J.Evans

Best case scenario, Evans plays and I reckon ManU will get more clean-sheets than most for the next few weeks.

If Evans doesn't play, that only uses up 4.5m, I already have Vorm and I only play 3 defenders most weeks anyway. My other 4 defenders are Woodgate, Kompany, Simpson and Brown and Evans is the only real option from United that lets me keep Kompany.

I think he's worth the gamble.

Might help anyone else considering him!

This was my team for GW 10...

    vorm (krul)

simpson enrique woodgate (warnock) (de laet)

    nani silva vdv pilkington (fergusson)

rvp adebayor balotelli... and i have 1.1 in the bank...

i wanna get rid of adebayor and balotelli... thinking of bringing in hernandez and a striker worth 8.3... here are my questions..

1- Who should i get in for 8.3???

2- I'd be left with only David Silva as mancity cover and IF mancity embark upon another demolishing job away from home i'll be doomed considering silva MIGHT be rested after the champs league match against villareal

3- any other changes i can make..??? thank you

So following my poll on the last page, u have voted for me to this:

    Nani & Adebayor -> Ramsey & RVP

    To give:

    Given Ruddy
    Kompany Wilkinson Simpson Gabbidon Naylor
    VDV Ramsey Petrov Sinclair Moses
    Rooney RVP Aguero

I know what your all gonna say "too top heavy", "defence is too weak" blah blah blah, but look at that strikeforce! 😉

Theirs no relaible source of clean sheets so im not bothered about having a cheap defence and everything else i try isnt working so why not go for it?

Ok, someone be boring and talk some sense into me...

I agree with you on the defence, Kompany plus 2 of the others should be fine, perhaps the midfield is a little weaker than the average FFS team but you can always sort that out quite easily by flogging one of your strikers.

I don't like it. However, I have a strategy of trying to be strong in defence, which may be mistaken. One thing I could say is that your midfield needs work. If Rooney comes off, you will be OK, though ...

I really don't think you should be ditching Nani or Adebayor with their fixtures.

How much do you have in the bank? I'd rather do Aguero -> RVP with the circa 1m coming from Kompany-> Enrique

I know what your saying but Nani has either not been playing or been playing awful and Adeabyor was poor yesterday and apparently so last week. I have Rooney & VDV to cover those 2 teams. Ive only just got Aguero this week and taking him about before the QPR game seems a bit mental. Although im a Liverpool fan i still dont fancy us to keep many cleanies.

Going up in all of my leagues, apart from the FFS ones, where I keep going down. So, well done to you lot.

I would be going up in all leagues if I could pick a captain that scores points -- ideally RVP. I'm still kicking myself that I swapped RVP for suarez last week. And this week I thought that ADE was a better pick. So two 4 pointers for me, rather than the 60 points I could have got.

This week I'm going to captain RVP come hell or high water. What's the odds on another 4 pointer?
