The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index scores are now available and the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points have now been added to the game. Hereโ€™s our breakdown of how they map out for Gameweek ten…

Chelsea 3 Arsenal 5
Van Persie 3, Santos & Walcott 2

The only share of FPL bonus this week comes amongst the Arsenal ranks, with Theo Walcott and Andre Santos tied on identical EA PPI scores having both notched at Stamford Bridge. Robin Van Persie is a clear leader however; he collected the Gameweekโ€™s leading PPI score of 67. Chelseaโ€™s Frank Lampard ranked third overall in this match but was denied bonus by the tied Arsenal pairing.

Everton 0 Man United 1
Hernandez 3, Evra 2, De Gea 1

Javier Hernandezโ€™s strike proved decisive at Goodison and, not surprisingly, proved enough to earn him the highest EA PPI on show and the three bonus points. In a game devoid of any strong attacking performers, it was two United defensive players who ranked next, with Patrice Evra recording a PPI of 24 thanks to assist. David De Geaโ€™s saves fetched him 21 PPI this week. Ji-Sung Park just missed out on bonus with a PPI of 20.

Norwich 3 Blackburn 3
Hoilett 3, Johnson 2, Samba 1

As we predicted last night, it was Junior Hoilett who emerged with the top ranked PPI score and the maximum bonus. Indeed, our forecast for this game proved spot-on, as Bradley Johnson and Blackburnโ€™s Chris Samba picked up the remaining points. Morten Gamst Pedersen and Norwichโ€™s Steve Morison were just a couple of PPI points behind that trio.

Tottenham 3 QPR 1
Van der Vaart 3, Bale 2, Lennon 1

Tottenhamโ€™s in-form Dutchman prevails for the maximum bonus โ€“ surprisingly recording a stronger EA PPI than two-goal hero Gareth Bale. Van der Vaartโ€™s PPI of 63 will be broken down in our Scout review of the weekend tomorrow but, right now, it looks as though his efforts on target played a part in him nicking top spot from Bale. Aaron Lennon, with two assists from yesterdayโ€™s game, earned the remaining bonus.

Man City 2 Wolves 1
Kolarov 3, Dzeko 2, Johnson 1

The winning goal from Aleksandar Kolarov was enough to earn him the top PPI score in this match, just edging out Edin Dzeko in second spot. This again, was a tough one to predict and, while we went for Yaya Toure in our forecast last night, he was ranked fifth, with Adam Johnson recording a PPI of 23 to fetch the remaining bonus point.

Sunderland 2 Aston Villa 2
Petrov 3, Sessegnon 2, Larsson 1

Itโ€™s no real surprise to see Stylian Petrov on top of the PPI scores given his goal and assist contribution to the 2-2 draw. Stephane Sessegnon matched him with an identical return, but the Villa man came out on top in the PPI stakes with a 5 point advantage. Seb Larsson collected the remaining bonus courtesy of his assist for the late equaliser, denying Villaโ€™s Richard Dunne by just a single PPI point.

Swansea 3 Bolton 1
Allen 3, Gower 2, Sinclair 1

Our prediction proved accurate for this one, as Joe Allen earned another three bonus points for his second consecutive goal and a busy midfield showing. Mark Gowerโ€™s creativity and industry was reflected with another strong PPI return, although it was very tight amongst the Swansea ranks. Scott Sinclair nudged in for a single bonus point with his third spot-kick of the season; there was just a single PPI point between him and Angel Rangel. Indeed, the next four players were separated by just a single PPI point, as the Swans dominated the PPI rankings.

West Brom 0 Liverpool 2
Carroll 3, Agger 2, Enrique 1

Andy Carroll came out on top in this game, just denying Dan Agger a share of the maximum bonus by a single PPI point. Indeed, with a clean sheet at the Hawthorns, Liverpoolโ€™s defensive players fared well here. Jose Enrique picked up a single bonus point, while both Martin Skrtel and Jose Reina were also highly placed in the PPI rankings. Charlie Adam also ranked well and was perhaps unfortunate not to see bonus rewards. Luis Suarez fetched a PPI of 12 โ€“ again efforts of target appear to have dented his bonus prospects.

Wigan 0 Fulham 2
Dempsey 3, Dembele 2, Sidwell 1

Clint Dempsey did enough to squeeze past Moussa Dembele for the maximum bonus in this game, as the Fulham pairing dominated the PPI rankings. As we predicted last night, Steve Sidwell came in for the single bonus point, although he trailed Dembele by 8 PPI points, sneaking past Mark Schwarzer in fourth by just 2 PPI points.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Evans is well bad, but I think he is in Sir Al's FPL team as he keeps on playing him. does provide cheap utd cover at the back, been thinking about it myself- utd have a good run of games but have looked weak at the back- because of Evans... Jones better prospect for UTD. Think about stoke though-> wilkinson = more money + solid defence

One positive argument for that move would be that you can pick a decent first sub anyway just incase he doesn't start. Evans isn't likely to come on as a sub.

Would give me money to go Allen > Drenthe or Adebayor > Hernandez giving me
        Ramsey Silva Mata VDV Drenthe/Allen
        Adebayor/Hernandez Suarez RVP
But I figure I can bench Allen every week with that front 7, and Adebayor has just been unlucky so I guess im better off with Kompany

Keep Kompany...its just a week and the state of defence at the moment means that man city are probably the best bet for a clean sheet overall. He's also prone to the odd goal and bonus....this week's red card was very rare.

      No way.
Given - Begovic (justifiable, good transfer)
      Naylor - McAuley (slightly sideways)
Enrique - BAE (backwards transfer, Enrique is a brilliant pick)
Hutton - Jag (decent transfer considering fixtures)
Sinclair - Drenthe (also slightly sideways)
      Petrov - Brunt (a.s.s)
Ade - Bendtner (Adebayor was unlucky this week, still a good pick)
Suarez - Rooney (good transfer, but Rooney playing deep is a worry)
All in all, there are probably 2-3 tranfers worth doing and all the rest are sideways or downward transfers.

      No no 100 times no.

From reading your previous post this WC has mainly stemmed from your concern at lack of Man U (ie Rooney) for the coming GW's.

Look again at Suarez's fixtures - are they really that bad? Chelsea looks bad on paper but they're not exactly solid at the back at the moment.

As for Rooney, if it looks like he's gonna start tearing it up again then yes get him in (you might have to take a 4 point hit to do it). At the moment though he's playing way too deep in a side not playing at their best.

I agree you need to make some defensive changes but it's just not worth the WC.

There's not a single team in the league this season i'd back to keep regular clean sheets (apart from maybe Stoke at home). None of the top 6 are reliable and even the teams that have been solid at home in the past like Villa and Fulham are conceding this season.

Can people just stop buying VP?
I almost hope he gets injured in CL - why the rush?!

I can stand for tonight's rise but no further to do Ba-->VP (yeah I planned it "right" but Robin decided he wouldn't wait that long to score big) which leads me to a question:

    Ba or Sturridge out?

i would get rid of ando pronto to cleverley or drenthe
with extra coinage bring in silva in a couple of weeks for sinclair

i think GW11 is going to be a "grin and bear it" week. bit of re-arranging due to red cards.

idealy, i'd like to get some ARS cover but can't do it without taking a -4 (or -8) hit.

looks like my skeleton crew will have to do, unless you football management geniuses (and Jack Off) can help out:

    Krul (Vorm)
    Simpson, Ward, Enrique (Naylor, Kompany)

I'd ditch Mata to get VDV in, but not sure how you'd get RVP in. Ideally you'd ditch Adebayor, but I think it would be hard to get the funds.

I might be tempted to ditch Rooney for RVP, and get United cover elsewhere (Cleverly, Hernandez, for example)

I cant afford baines if i keep silva which i'll probably do. Baines will lose some of his set peices and attacking threat to Drenthe and I dont know if he'l still be on pens after the miss.

i kept Rooney in my (disaster of a) WC team last week. Obviously not ideal if he's going to play deeper, with Hernandez, Welbeck further forward, but being on Pens, FKs and some great fixtures to come, i hope he can re-pay my continued faith.
Think UTD look better with Cleverly in the team, and i hope they can start to tick again in the next 4 weeks...
So in short...i'd get Rooney over Nani if you can.

    Given, Vorm
    Kompany, Bosingwa, Brown, Simpson, NTaylor
    VDV, Silva, Ramsey, Cabaye, Dyer
    Aguero, Suarez, Adebayor

Really want to get RVP in, especially before he rises any further, but I also need to upgrade my defence to cover Kompany's suspension.

I have 2 frees, and 1.2 in the bank.

Am I am considering these transfers, using my 2 frees and a 4pt hit:

    Brown -> Wilkinson
    Suarez -> Van Persie

I can get this team barely (0.0 left in bank.

    Vorm Ruddy

    Wilkinson, Evans, Enrique, Simpson, Gabbidon

    Nani, Silva, Vdv, Ramsey, Ferguson

    Van persie, Aguero, Adebayor

I really want this team but it would require a 16pt hit. I prob wont be able to get it after this wk with prices etc. Im doing well in my mini league 10 pts behind leader. However I have komp and bosing atm and getting sick of defenders returning crap pts! My mid and strikers would surely kill it from here on with fistures etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My proposed moves in bringing RVP & Ramsey in has to be done before another rise, which i see RVP is rising tonight.

Do i risk it and do it tonight (despite RVPs injury record and Arsenal playing in the CL) or leave it and bring in someone else cheaper than Ramsey?

Just the usual, Walters, Drenthe, Sess, but none of them are ideal in terms of opposition next week or likelihood of starting.

Do it before he goes up in price! Most likely Chamakh or Park will start for Arsenal in the CL so the chances of RVP getting injured are quite slim.

Hey all, some useless pub knowledge.

We all know this image http://www.worldpress.org/images/maps/world_600w.jpg it's known as Mercator's Projection and is used in all atlases, wall maps and schools throughout the world. However while it is accurate for navigational purposes it does not truly reflect the scale of countries and continents and squashes everything south of the Equator. Eg. Greenland is shown as being larger than China where in fact China is around 4 times larger, Africa/South America. This led a fellow by the name of Dr Arno Peters to create a formula to show the true size of land masses and give people a more accurate picture of their true size relative to each other,it's known as the Peters Projection http://abagond.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/petersprojection4.gif

Both of course are some way distorted as would any globular item that is flattened out but Peters shows a more realistic size proportion.
