Agree that Allen is good value. Sure to be involved in any goals is absurd. If he gets more than 5 combined assists and goals the rest of the year I'll eat my hat.
He has 2 goals n 2 assists Already & question is how many penalties Sinclair will score all season he doesn't really score from open play.

You're clearly not a Swansea fan or at least you don't watch them often.
Sinclair has a far greater goal threat than Allen. Just cos Sinclair has only scored penalties so far, doesn't mean it will continue like that. Look at all the goals he scored last season.
I'd be surprised if Allen scores another 2 goals all season.

In my mind, I've decided that my front three, plus Walcott (who finally came good) and van der Vaart, are "stayers". So I don't have a lot of room for manoeuvre; only via Richards really, to upgrade Moses (or even N.Dyer, but most likely the former).
Had my first decent gameweek of all season! Finally! 84 points though RVP + Ba + VDV (c) net me 53 alone. Ahh! Feels good for once. I can sense it all turning around now. Top 100K here I come lol.

I reassessed Given and took him out for Begovic. I think that it's paid off for me, but haven't done all the calculations. Along with Vorm they are the most consistent two GKs in the league, and although they don't rotate perfectly in terms of home fixtures then I can grin and bear that.
Loving the fact that the average punter is going to look at Kompany's suspension (out to November 19) and think that he's out for three. I see some in my league did earlys based on this and they have Shawcross

Actually, one of the mistakes I feel I've made in the past is IGNORING the right bandwagons. VDV, Charlie Adam, Carroll (newcastle), Baines... ignored them all last year, or at least I was incredibly late to the party.

It seems a lot of people are starting to think of changing up their keepers. I am wondering if a change of tactic could be in order. So far people have looked at keepers that rotate well. What about if we went for a keeper in a good team your are prepared to play every match eg Hart and then someone like Ruddy who can be benched every game.
I am thinking of Getting De Gea with Ruddy if I play my wildcard after GW11. United have an awesome run and he is cheaper than Vidic and Evra who are the only nailed on starters in defense. De Gea also makes a lot of saves so the odd BP will come around. United have also found a new defensive resolve after the thrashing from City. Also I believe clean sheets might start to come back especially with winter weather approaching. I don't think this goal scoring intensity can last forever.
Are other people having similar ideas?
Nope. I will stick with my "cheap as Chips" defence.
Keepers get the least points out of all, so I dont like spending much on them
Vorm for me, will play him most weeks...he is epic.
But keepers are also cheaper in price. Compare De Gea to any defender and he will score more points than the 4-5m defenders over a season. Certainly from here on in anyway
Might be true, but you need to work in the fact that the 2.2m your saving on Vorm vs De Gea is being spent on RVP instead of Suarez for example.
The money saved on the cheaper keeper enables you to get decent (c) options somewhere else in your team.
But, hey, nothing wrong with your strategy. Just not the one I'm implementing.(Not that I'm not looking at Baines/Vidic...)
I'd rather Vorm + big hitter then, De Gea/Hart + Mid priced player.
And that isnt necessarily true, Vorm has been excellent and will continue to be, I played Foster almost every single game last season, he was a save machine as Vorm will be this season imo
Are Swansea really going to keep up their form? Will they really get many clean sheets? Vorm has been great so far but is this bandwagon going to come to an end with tough fixtures?
At home you would fancy Swans to have a change of a CS against anyone. Backup keeper will do his thang when Vorm is away from home. Saves and the odd peno save makes up for CS.
Im not sure if you can underestimate how many points keepers get. Look at how many Hart got last year in comparison to the rest of City's defence. He got over 170pts!
Only 10 less than Tevez that year. Keepers can be gold, especially at their cheap price
Hey what ever works for you. Things is you would never have (c) Hart in any of his games where Carlito was captain material every single game he played. So you cant compare total points. If selecting Hart is denying me to get in a striker like Carlito(c) then I go for the 4.5m keeper. Every day.
Look at Hart this weekend. One decision going against a team and the peno is slotted home. CS gone.
If you play Hart every week and end up with 170 pts, you still had to have a cheap alt keeper, so the real price of that 170 is probably close to 11m (or more). With good rotating 4.5m keepers you can get close to 170 and spend the 2m elsewhere.
Question with budget strategy.. Would you consider which is the best way to go?
A: 3 expensive MF and 2 cheap MF for rotation
2 expensive FW + 1 mid-price FW
B: 2 expensive MF and 2 mid-price MF + 1 cheap MF for rotation
3 expensive FW
I feel A could be better as some mid-price GW scored well and expensive FW have been frequently rotated.

So 3 expensive, 1 mid price that i can play 99% of games and Allen for the bench

I always thought it was bizarre why he made such a big issue about not linking his team.didn't think it would be so bad though! Now we know why. It also shows it's so much easier to mouth off and irritate people when you have a fake identity - you don't have to truly deal with the consequences.

See, here’s the thing – last gw, Newc v Wigan – I lump on Ba even give him the armband thinking he and the the geordie boys will tear Wigan a new one. Result, he couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo – 2 points. Last night, away to a tight Stoke defence – Ba only got a start cos I had no defenders to play this gw apart from the 3 that did. Result, he goes all medieval on the Stoke lads and chips in with a cheeky hat trick – 17 gw saving points!! His reward for this inconsistency is that I have because of Newc fixtures already shipped him out in favour of the predator look alike from he red side of North London.

the guy have jumped from 1.2mil to 300k in 1 GW, and he's not eevn playing the game!!!
I would like to see a change in this area.The game should be for people who activally play.Perhaps an active button to be engaged once monthly.
