Team this week with 1 ft & 3.3itb. Thinking of selling Baines (lucky I had Simpson for him today) & buying VVD, Will give me

    Elliott (DDG)
    VVD, Dier, PVA (Dawson, Simpson)
    Ozil, Alli, Firmino, Wijnaldum (Gosling)
    Aguero, Kane (c) Lukaku

    Thoughts & thanks.

Getting rid of Baines as well, cant have a rotation risk blanker.. I am getting Azpi though, but VVD is good too as his GW30 is confirmed..

You still have 4 non starters in GW27
If you want to get someone in then Lukaku Firmini Wij probably 2 have to go.

Elliot isn't a problem as I'll play DDG.
        gw26 Wijnaldum will become Payet/Antonio
        gw27 Lukaku will become Vardy.

That will leave me with Firmino & Aguero so I should be able to field 11

So tempting! GOT 2 FT and thinking Luk - Giroud and Wolly - Gabriel...

Then get in Vardy for Giroud GW27 and also do Firminho - Sanchez.

        Already have ozil!

He also offers more goal threat than Per so if he manage to keep his place then he's the best way in our defence.

Just done Lukaku to Vardy! Sensible? I know he could be fit for the weekend but in all honesty I've been looking for a way out with him and this is it, failing to score in 135 minutes against 2 teams that he should've buried at least one against

    1. Shah G

It is sensible.. I would've done so if i didnt want Firm n Azpi.. Vardy likely to be on pens n those who watched the games should know Vardy will murder Demi/Gabr..

    Butland (Elliot)
    Ward Cresswell Targett Simpsons Williams
    Payet Silva Ozil Alli Mahrez
    Kane Iggy Kun

    Revised plan:
GW24-25 Silva -> Firmino for AVilla and Sunderland.
    GW25-26 Iggy -> Vardy
GW26-27 Ozil -> Sanchez. play Kane, Vardy, Payet, Alli, Sanchez
GW27+ Barkley the week DGW happens.

    Thoughts?

    Bottomed

With everyone penciling in Vardy for GW27 and some even already transferring him in this week, it would truly sit the cat amongst the pigeons if Vardy were to get injured this week. Holding FT and waiting on him definitely if Luka is confirmed fit or if the Arsenal pressers indicate Giroud will start. Giroud a great punt for next match with Bournemouth's record.

Why would you even think he will get injured ? Ars are in dreadful form, so not keen on them honestly. Eventho they rekt SOU in shots and what not, still no end product. Vardy has been on painkillers and medicine whole season. Plus nothing is wrong with him, except that now he is an injection of confidence in his game before two biggest games for them. So yea, Vardy it is.

So you're saying hold onto a player that might miss next game through injury because you might get a player in that can get injured next game?? That actually makes no sense, that would apply to every attacker in the league because everyone has a possibility of getting injured in the next game.

Maybe two missed pens, you never know.

Also i think Lei games are absolutely fine. They are the top of the league vs top sides, where eve is a mid table team vs defensively oriented teams. I really do not see the issue honestly.

There's no doubt that we should probably own Vardy, but I can't justify getting him with those two games coming up, he can come in for GW 27.

Fair point, but i do not think those games are as tough as people think. City is not so solid in the back, bar hart's unreal saves last few games. I would always pick a in form forward of a top side vs in form striker of a relagation/lowermid side team.

Afobe is a good pick in all honesty.

Another 5-2 Arsenal would be nice tbh, Vardy and Mahrez with both goals and I'll probably have Sanchez by then as well

    Butland (Elliot)

    Payet Silva Ozil Alli Mahrez
    Kane Iggy Kun

    Silva -> Firmino G2G?

Arsenal are in such trouble...I just watched the highlights from Barcelona Valencia yesterday, oh my god.

And Neymar missed a penalty 😆

We might not lose by 7 if we play Cech and Ospina in goal, and have a back 8 of Monreal, Koscielny, Gabriel, Per Bellerin, Chambers, Gibbs and Coquelin. Then just stick Sanchez up top

Ranieri has to realise that getting 2 points from mci and ars fixtures is an absolute minimum.. he has to go flick that dpad left and then left some more to go all out defence.

If Lukaku is injured. Getting Vardy in for him is right move right? Have Kane and there isn't much good option atm available atm.

Vardy could get injured in next 2 matches, better to wait 2 weeks.

Really no idea why you are advocating that Vardy will get injured.

Good time to play the wildcard? My team is good but need improvement in some areas.

    Butland Forster
    Alderweireld Cresswell Huth Mariappa Baker
    Lanzini Mahrez Ozil Payet Firmino
    Lukaku Kane Aguero

Either keeping Lukaku or Lukaku---> Vardy.

Pointless bringing in someone else and then shipping them for Vardy in 2 weeks. FT are too precious.
