The draw for the first round of the 2019/20 FFS Cup FFS Cup

Just 16 ties to look at as the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III, sponsored by Paddy Power, goes midweek for the first time. To see exactly what the draw has thrown out, click here. As you’ll seem, there are still plenty of big names left challenging for the title…

Last week’s top-scorer Gazzamania has a tough match-up against DRP, who sits just 5 points behind him overall.

Soup or Man will be looking to continue his good form (five straight green arrows), when he takes on 100k+ ranked Back to Back Ballacks.

Another recognisable name in the fifth round is Anorak, who has his work cut out against a highly-ranked opponent olive.

After eliminating Granville, Chris81 will once again have to beat the odds to overcome top 8k ranked DaFoe22. Another Scout killer, tippman, is still in the mix and takes on Unwillingplayer.

Site favourite bill badger is a huge underdog this week, as he has been handed a tie with round three top-scorer and 12th in the world, Ann_der_roo.

Ann_der_roo is clearly the highest-ranked participant in round five, but the unfortunate title of lowest-ranked goes to Manif, who is the true underdog of the competition. Sitting at a season-best 328,067th in the world, he’ll have to continue to upset the apple cart to see off atx1303, who is ranked a good 100k+ places above him.

All fixtures are to be played over gameweek 12 (starting tonight). Good luck to all 32 fantasy managers left in the competition, and remember that a free £25 bet, courtesy of Paddy Power, is available as always to the top-scorer this round.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

Yep. And I am on FIRE at the moment. Two weeks ago, lowest GW ever. Last weekend, new record.

      So cue a hat-trick for man-of-the-match Elmo.

Probably yes. Spurs will score, assist/bonus points are the ones you would be after then.

Hey Guys. After a terrible GW last time round where I got 26 points with another 25 points sitting on my bench, I have no faith left in my ability to pick my best starting 11. Could someone help me out and do the honours:

    AlHabsi-Foster
    Cashley-Alex-Mummy-Coleman-Simpson
    Fabregas-Nasri-Arteta-Brunt-Nzogbia
    Carroll-Drogba-Hernandez

      Foster
      ACole-Coleman-Simpson
      Fab-Arteta-Brunt-Nzog
      Carroll-Drogba

Thats 10. Then it would be up to playing Hernandez or doubling up on Chelsea. I'd choose the latter.

Even i am thinking of doing the same. The guy is on fire and there is no reason why he wont get atleast an assist/goal this GW. On the other hand i dont expect drogs to get anything more than a goal. Fulham is hardly an easy opposition. Most they conceded this season is 2.

Newcastle are 6/1 to keep a clean sheet? That is extremely good value, as is Birmingham at 13/2.

When the odds are that close, you should probably spread the risk.

Interesting that Fergie has not completely ruled Nani out of the Derby, despite having appeared to do so last week, at this stage, I think he is playing his usual mind games and Nani will be involved. VDV aswell, it is as if Harry is saying "we need you son, but make up your own mind", which could be bad and good, no one wants to see (bar people that don't have him) him start and limp off after 15 minutes.

They both stay in my team and I will let the subs do their job!

    Hi Guys, 3 things:
    1) Got two free transfers this week, thinking of just doing Jara-> Simpson- that'll leave me 2 for free for Saturday right?
    2) If i do the above, should i play Simpson over El-Mohammedy?
    3) Currently playing Nani over Nzogbia...half hoping Nani wont play - but got a feeling SAF is up to his old tricks again and that he'll start. (or even worse that he comes on for 20mins!). dont know who to drop to fit Nzog in...?
    Help much appreciated!

Aaah I love it when people get angry- sooner or later the penny drops that they're wrong.

              http://www.fpl-dugout.co.uk/news/fantasy-premier-league-to-launch-monday

"Last season we could choose not to use our weekly free transfer and save it for the next Gameweek so that we had two free transfers. However, we lost our saved transfer if we didn’t use it the next Gameweek. No more!

This season we can keep carrying our saved transfer over to other Gameweeks until we decide to use it.

We can still never have more than one saved transfer and the wildcard is the only way to make more than two free transfers in a Gameweek.

I think this is a good idea. Now we can bide our time and use our saved transfer more wisely without feeling forced into using it just because we didn’t want to lose it."

Ahhhh arrogance, it's even better when it's combined with ignorance.

Last season you could carry a transfer over if you made none the previous week, but you couldn't then use one of your two transfers and then have two the next week, it was use it or lose it.
