The international break has afforded us some extra time to address some requested features in our Members Area and also to add a new index to allow easy assessment of our team statistics. Here’s a run-down of the updates rolled out earlier today…

Seamless Logins

Members should now only need to login once with their registration details on either the main site or the members area. This means that, once logged in, you can seamlessly move between the two sites.

Team Goal Index

To accompany our ICT (Influence, Creativity, Threat) Index to assess player performance, we’ve now added a new Index that allows quick assessment of a team’s likelihood to both score and concede goals.

The Index can be found in Team Stats > Fantasy Index and lists three figures for each team – Scoring, Conceding and then a simple calculation that offers the difference (Diff) between the two.

The Index uses a combination of Opta data including factors such as shots on target conceded in and outside the box, goal attempts in and outside the box and, of course, goals scored and conceded.

As usual the table can be sorted by any of these statistics and, using the Gameweek filters, members can slice the data and analyse teams over the season, a period of gameweeks and even specific gameweeks.

A Top Ten widget will soon be added to the Members Area dashboard allowing quick reference to those teams performing best in the Goal Index both over the season and for the latest Gameweek.

Improved Tooltips

We had a number of users requesting that we freeze the headers on tables making it easier to analyse stats when scrolling. While freezing the headers is something we will look into for next season, in the meantime we’ve given Members the ability to rollover any stat in a table and get a tooltip describing that stat.

We’ve produced a short movie previewing these new features here so Members and non-members alike can get a view on the additions and how they work.

We’ve a long list of Members improvements to come – we will be adding a Team News widget to the main site sidebar very soon, informing our members on the latest changes made to team news and predicted lineups.

Following that we have further Members Next Six Ticker improvements and we’ll be adding averages to our ICT Index, and allowing members to view trends as players rise above and fall below, their season average for each statistic.

For further details on the benefits of being a Member and to either upgrade your account or register as a Member, click here.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Drenthe or Nani this GW?

Background info: I’m looking to bring in Drenthe for Nani to free up cash for Roo next GW. Wondering if I should do the Drenthe transfer this week or the next (also giving me more time on the Nani/Roo decision)

The EA PPI has caused a lot of people on this site to be dismissive of this player:

    I have a dilema - I'm stuck between these two options -

    Enrique Sessignon Sturridge
    Verminator Moses Bendtner

On paper the first option seems the best. But if you think more about it it's not as easy as that -

Enrique has tough very fixtures and I cant see him keeping many clean sheets.

Sturridge is getting the game time but for how long. He's not been as consistant as i'd want.

Moses ' the 2 point wonder' Has Blackburn at home next and his ability to have near misses in almost ever ame gives hope. At 4.7 he is great value and even more so that i lost 0.3 on him, so if he rises i get the 0.1 into the bank.

Bendtner is on penalties for Sunderland, he has a reputation for being a bit of an iwelumo but he's a proven international striker

    What do you's think?

I like the second option better, but have swung round to getting Enrique. Pool have 2 tough fixtures then its back to the land of milk and honey (well, reasonably decent fixtures anyway). He's cheap, Plays for one of the only teams that actually get clean sheets on a regulatr basis, and is attacking. you just need to work things so that you've got some cheap cover for the next 2 weeks. Its a shame that the Swans are home to ManU next, otherwise we'd be sorted.

ps. Getting Verm does give you the option of switching back to Kompany though when fixtrues improve....

LOL... I love people who held onto Moses. My mate recommended him to me and I shipped him out early doors. Wigan are where in the table, have scored how many goals, and Moses has been involved in what %- ask yourself these questions. If he falls you stand to lose 0.1 as well. Its not completely disimiliar from holding stock in Enron.

Need to ditch Rudd (accidently got him instead of Ruddy)... but do I get a complete unkown in Westwood (SUN), who has good price and great fixtures but third choice keeper and other two hovering around a comback, Splash the cash on Howard, who ain't keeping cleansheets biut has a good run of games or go for someone else entirely (surely I have missed the Vorm boat?)

I'm thinking there's a very good chance that Bosingwa will start at the weekend.

Liverpool will be playing with an attacking full back in Enrique so I can't imagine AVB playing Ivan to just allow Enrique to keep attacking him. With the way AVB is as a manager, I'd expect him to also attack down that side with Bosingwa.

Also Bos hasn't played any international games whereas Ivan will have played twice.

I was sure to transfer him out last week, but tempted to see what happens vs Liverpool and possibly Wolves too, first.

Um, so does that mean you took a hit on two transfers at the beggining of a two week international break? the transfers aren't so bad, Walts got good games and Jones going to pull in some clean sheets. Maybe Bale or Lennon would have been better investments though given the sheer volume of games Walters faces (he was well good in REP of IRE fixture, maybe get a rest in second leg if lucky). The timing though was potentially suicidal, to put it mildly.

I was thinking about that. To be honest, this year I think every single United player is a rotation threat, it's pretty unbelievable. Hopefully we'll start to put a consistent team out.

Vidic however has still not played that many games so I can't see him being rested in the PL, more likely the CL imo. I think he'd be worth a gamble the next few games. It really is down to him, Jones and Rooney at the moment that we're keeping cleanies

I agree with a lot of this. Rooney is the most immune to rotation imo. I forsee Vidic starting a lot, if not all, of the PL games. Jones is a substantial rotation risk in my view.

I'd say no, but you need RVP, thing is Aguero has a couple nice fixtures coming up:

      NEWCASTLE liverpool NORWICH

Who are your other forwards? No one else you can sacrifice?

I'd really like to have Aguero over Rooney at the moment, I just hope that caution is going to pay off and Rooney gets his arse up the pitch.

Kompany is a long term move so it's not about whether he makes up the 4 points this week.

But I'm not convinced with Brunt, with both their main forwards out.

    Hernandez - Welbeck?

Why has no one thought of this, Welbeck gets game time, keeps United attacking coverage and gives over 3 million if swapped for Hernandez and 6 if swapped for Rooney. Not an option for this week, but in a couple of weeks when I have 2 free and want to upgrade to De Gea.

Too much of a rotation risk, to take up a 3rd striker spot, and he doesn't get the big hauls like RVP, Rooney, Aguero and to an extent Suarez/Adebayor are capable of
