Pick two to transfer in out of the following (both for free):

    A) Siggy ➡ Payet
    B) Alli ➡ Fabregas
    C) Williams ➡ Bellerin

    WC'ing in GW33.

I wouldn't consider it if I was playing my bench boost . He could get injured in 33 , he could potentially play one game in the double and there is always the chance he will not deliver

      1. Koflok
        • 13 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

Fair enough, but if he's fit - which I'm hoping he is by GW35-37, he can be massive differential and high ceiling for points potential.

        1. YoungPretender
          • 11 Years
          9 years, 9 months ago

Potentially could be very fruitful, however with little to play for in the league, I wouldn't be surprised to see Klopp continue to limit Sturridges minutes to 60 a game as part of his rehabilitation work.

          1. Koflok
            • 13 Years
            9 years, 9 months ago

60 minutes for a fully fit Sturridge would be good enough to rekt teams, no?

2/3 of a game is never good for points and he really doesn't look sharp. Good DGW punt if you're chasing and don't want Cout and Milner.

    Top 4 predictions? Thinking:

    Leicester

Even what Dusan said about our climate is true. I went to Dorset again last year and stayed at a caravan park that had a lot of Spanish tourists. They love getting away from all that boiling your head weather...well those Spaniards did anyway.

I've lived in 5 countries over 2 continents , including England where I was born.

In England I've lived in the north, midland, South and South West.

For England I'd say the north is better, midlands worst (no offence meant).

For countries all have good and bad points. Having witnessed whole families living on the street and it being norm. Children asking for pencils for school when I offered to buy Christmas presents amongst many others made me realise how lucky people are. My wife's family didn't have electricity or water before I came into their lives, such simple things. Then again some things are not good about the uk, but overall, people should be more thankful for what they have and realise how much they have.

I'm not sure about this. A lot of our cities have been ruined by 1960's/70s redevelopment and have been robbed of their soul.

Wetherspoons, bookies and charity shops dominate many high streets, and most of the population cannot afford to own a reasonable standard of housing.

The deep inequalities we have allowed to manifest in the UK has let some areas become "amongst the best in the world", but most of them are off limits to 80% of society

      1. Dr Dream
        • 13 Years

Definitely. I grew up in one of the biggest sh*t holes in the country btw.

In about 1987 i escaped and went to live in a place called Chipping Sodbury to start with...and then various other similar places. Absolutely stunning places some of them, If you can manage to do it.

        Another world.

When did the habit of team-mates embracing each other in the minutes before kick-off start? They've trained together all week, travelled together, changed together and warmed up together just minutes ago. Yet in the seconds before kick-off, they wander around greeting one another as if they hadn't seen one another for months. It just looks ridiculous.

It doesn't look ridiculous at all. One of the only good traditions of respect left in a sport devoid of the attitudes which make all other sports much more respectable.

It does look ridiculous and a high five is no football tradition. Just talking to each other and working hard as a team is far more effective and much more respectable

I know its early but who would you punt on with this side? (WC GW 33)

    Lloris, McCarthy
    Bellerin, Daniels, Williams, Fernandez, Huth
    Ozil, Payet, Siggy, Mahrez, Surman
    Aguero, Kane, Vardy

    2 FT, 4.1 ITB

At this stage I'm tempted to get rid of Daniels and Lloris for Ivanovic and Ospina/Cech. Thoughts?

Been beaten near post a couple of times (champions league first leg, Cresswell today ... )

de Gea is pretty poor at his near post too, I think Cech is the best rounded keeper in the league. No weakness, but no one great strength.

Courtois is going to be really good, just see de Gea's start at United too.

Yeah cech is a very safe pair of hands.

Courtois has already had 3 seasons of top level football incl. champions league, so should be more developed than De Gea was arguably

If Tottenham do not win tomorrow, we have a good argument for WC in DGW34.

At least seven points behind Leicester and a difficult game against Liverpool next fixture we can see the very close title Foxes. It may not be as tempting to have assets of Leicester and Spurs.
