Fantasy Football Scout – Paddy Power Cup – Entry Still Open

Just a final reminder that we launched the first Fantasy Football Scout cup competition – the Paddy Power Cup, earlier this week. Gameweek 12 is the qualifying round for the tournament with the top scoring 1020 managers (our previous 4 winners automatically qualify) progressing to the first round proper.

Entry is free, there are prizes for the top three placing’s and you can enter via our form right here. You should receive email confirmation of your entry once submitted, but you can also check that your entry has been successful via this list. If you have any issues with your entry, please email akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Good luck to those who enter. We will post full details of the qualifiers once the gameweek ends on Tuesday, with the first round draw following later next week.

      I'd agree with most, bench mata. Possibly sell him soon as well. He hasn't been doing much as a fantasy force, and against a liverpool defense who have been very tight on the road, I can't see him getting more than 2/3 points. Compared to walters who is on pens, at home to QPR and has been in good form recently, it seems like a no brainer.

  I've got Shawx and as far as I'm aware he's back in training and will start this weekend.
  
  I would definitely say that Shawx is worth the extra £ over Wilko due to guarenteed game time.

  I've got Kompany but I reckon Richards is a great shout now he seems to have cemented the right back spot with his scintillating attacking play.
  
  I only have Kompany cos I've had him since the start and I can't justify a transfer to swap him over.

  Kompany for a guaranteed start in long term, but Richards if you are ready to accept a random rotation which comes with more attacking threat.

Anybody else contemplating Ramsey may not start with Diaby fit again? I am sure that won’t be this week but I am really concerned how this will effect him/Arteta over the next few weeks. I really want Cashley Young in my team and this is giving me the excuse I need to do it. Seeing Ramsey in the picks has not helped much!

        ^that is based on footballing form, not FPL form. Clearly the part I was replying to.
        And my reply is definitely relevant to FPL, if he was playing poorly then he may get benched and the Ramsey > Young transfer would be a necessary one. Fool.

        It's a fair comment. He has been superb. Certainly wouldn't surprise me if Diaby came on to firm up the midfield if Arse are leading though. Despite being excellent, I do worry that there is a touch of Modric to his FPL output though and he does assist a lot of assists, whilst his shooting is not great. At £6.7m he still represents good value but I just would rather a United player than 2 Arse ones. Maybe I'll bin RVP then, he is due another rest 🙂

  I've been more concerned that Ramsey seems to assist the assist at the moment, and is not getting the FF returns I had anticipated. Playing well for Arsenal, but that's not helping me much, and am considering a change, in the unlikely event I ever have a spare transfer.
