After assessing the Defence and Midfield numbers over the last four matches, we turn our attentions to up front this evening. A number of double Gameweek options arrive under analysis, including Everton, City and Newcastle’s main men, whilst we also compare Arsenal and United’s strikers and doff our cap to Tottenham’s man of the moment after a series of scintillating displays.

Why you should not BUY Barkley or Coutinho? Look at their CONVERSION rates!

People always seem to ignore DGWs and get punished

I don't want so and so as team A is poor

DGWs always throw up surprises, Hull defenders, how many people went big on the Aston Villa/QPR DGW last season? Not many. In fact many didn't even captain Austin for a DGW. Meantime anyone who went big was rewarded. A person I can not name had Benteke (c), Austin and Phillips and got into the 150s with his total that week.

tl:dr? In short don't be so dismissive of DGWs, you never know what they will throw up and remember these guys get 4 points just for showing up

Benteke (C) and Austin in that DGW pretty much won me my mini league last season

Hello fellow dgw planners. Thinking of pulling the 'late WC strategy'. 2 FT, 6 dgw34 players, no dgw33 players in currently. Any obvious flaws with this plan?

GW 32 TRANSFERS: Siggy -> Payet, Williams -> Ward
GW 33 TRANSFERS: Kane -> Lukaku
Gives me 2 dgwers for 33 in Lukaku and Ward, allows me to keep triple leicester assets for sun game.
GW 34 TRANSFERS: Mahrez -> Sanchez, Vardy -> Deeney (For -4)
    GW 34 TEAM:

    FOSTER
    OTAMENDI BELLERIN WARD
    SANCHEZ (TC) OZIL FIRMINO PAYET
    AGUERO LUKAKU DEENEY
    (McCarthy Alli Fuchs Daniels)

GW 35: Transfer out one of: Payet/Lukaku/Deeney/Ward for a one-week punt. Can field full XI without hits.
    GW 36: WC
GW 37: BB with 15 dgwers.

Biggest worries are obviously not maximizing DGW33 and having no UTD players for DGW34. Also not sure if I can count Ward as a DGW player in GW34 with those fixtures. Any suggestions on why I should/shouldn't opt for this strategy are much appreciated.

Alternatively, Siggy to Payet and Otamendi to Kos in 32, then Vardy to Lukaku if funds allow in 33, thus keeping Mahrez and Kane. Then Williams to Rojo in 34. So you'll have Kane+Alli, and Mahrez+Fuchs for 35 plus 1 FT for you to punt.

Howard or Robles + Lennon or Barkley 33/34/37 already have lukaku
