With just Tottenham and Villa left to play tomorrow night, our Members can now soak up all the numbers from the nine matches so far via our Members area. All the Opta data and ICT Index scores are in and, as usual, we can now offer a match-by-match breakdown of the standout performers, with our speculative glance at the EA PPI and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points…

Very tough one to call that game. Much depends on PA's data - which can differ to Opta's when it comes to defensive stats in particular. Unless there's some outstanding defensive performers however, we often see keepers getting close in a 0-0.

I have 5.9 in the bank for one transfer this week. I can pretty much afford any player in the game. Before today I was fairly set on Cabaye to Lampard. Now not so sure.

In your opinion, who is the most important player to have over the next few weeks?

(I have RvP and VdV already)

Looked at your team, I'd not go splashing the cash. Shore up the defence IMO, Warnock out for possibly Vermaelen, Lescott, Baines or Vidic. The more you spend, the less flexibility you have longer term. Seeing the money sitting there can be frustrating though.

agreed, Vidic is a much better bet at that price, much more cs possibility and always a goal possibility (at least once Young comes back and takes Nani 'can't beat the first man' off corners)

Yeah my week hasn't been great so far (VDV and Walker to come) but it will do. Looking at GW14 transfers of

Bendtner to Hoilett and De Laet to Brown. Looks like I'm keeping Rooney for another 3 weeks at least.

Yeah that's not bad, I quite like Hoilett, it's just Blackburn that puts me off. I swapped Rooney out for Hernandez before the City game. Only transfer I really feel like I should do is Evans out for someone, but to be honest I'm not really that bothered about getting rid of him yet.

Baines could be good but it's a bit annoying to get him in if you haven't got a really expensive defender already and if you want him out it's more reshuffling to make sure the moneys spent.

Succinctly sums up Baines' problem. I think he's decent value in his own right (particualrly with more CSs), but a rip-off relative to the game as a whole.

Anyone thinking about doubling up on man utds defence? Specifically I am thinking of Jones and Evra.

I realised too late that confirming my Given out Krul in transfer precludes me from getting Baines in future.
    I should of got Ruddy.

I don't ask very often, I'm a bit stumped with all the options. Feedback appreciated.

Thankfully most is looking well with the team. It's finally time to get rid of that lump De Laet on my bench before his price falls. I have 2.4 in bank, but am loathe to spend more than 5.5 (keep options open and avoid hits later on).

I don't like having 3 from one team unless it's City as it makes an off game a bit of a disaster for the team. Is this flawed thinking? Oh and I don't want an Everton defender.

I have Wilko, Enrique, Jones, Raylor as my others.

PS. Stat attack - Ashley Cole hasn't dribbled past a player in 2011. (Might be a lie).

Twice already this season I've made no transfers and then used 2 the following week. Thinking of doing the same this week, not sure I did that at all last season.

I've had saurez from day 1, if I don't knee jerk him out now, after the citeh game I'll end up keeping him.... He is such a tease the slutty tooth fairy.. I hate having him and hate the thought of getting rid of him... Just hurry up and ban him fo six games and make my mind up or me... Any idea when we will hear on this anyone?

Yes, but who to replace him with. Hernandez looks expensive for what you get. Sturridge maybe, but playing in an iffy team (!), Ba? Nope.

Anyone reckon Aguero will be on the bench for Napoli? Mancini said him and Yaya were fatigued after the game and he may take a more defensive approach by playing one up top like against Villarreal to ensure they dont lose, plus Dzeko will be fresher and Mario was taken off before him?

Aye. It is a tad boring, then again it's always boring when you're not top of the league!

My leader has a very similar team to me and hasn't been stupid enough to miss Silva or RVP so it's hard to catch him. Long way to go yet though!

Agree. A Spurs poor performance would have a big effect on your team.

Most goals will involve one or possibly 2 of the 3. If Spurs score lots of goals you'll be very happy.

Eggs & baskets for goalposts, like Tang says 😮

MR J - Seeing as you take the odd hit and do well.

I've been pondering being a little more reckless with points hits, but in a controlled way. Please can you take a look at my link, do you think anything is worth a hit this week?

your team looks sound to me bread, obviously u need rid of de laet, and im looking to ship out ramsey soon also, but giving him a week or 2 mabey to prove himself, so nothing worth taking a hit for this week imo
The way i work with taking hits is if im not happy with my team il make the transfer, simple as, only started playing last year, minced my mates in our mini leauge and on top now as well as work leauge

All this £ chasing with the rises is paying off at last. A decent defence I'll look to leave for most of the season is on the horizon.

Good advice on the hits - normally it lets me down big time as the ones I get rid of come back in to form as soon as I've lost patience.
