Soo... what are Suarez owners planning on doing with the chap? I think my patience levels might have passed their threshold. But I also want to kick Hutton into touch too.

I'm tempted by a straight Suarez -> Hernandez. But a Suarez -> lower price striker would free up a Hutton upgrade, as this week has shown me how poor my defence is.

Pens, DFKs, assists, bonus without scoring, never gets dropped for tactical reasons, only for a rest or off-field shenanigans, he's a better footballer...

He was playing off the striker yesterday, although he did drop deep a fair bit.

2 freebies and 1.0m in the bank. All I can come up with is Dunne -> P Jones (saving the 2nd transfer). Anyone have any slightly more inspiring ideas?

if you made that transfer we'd have 9 of the same players. any reason you don't want vorm? i'm starting to question whether ramsey is actually worth it. rvp seems to be getting all the arsenal attacking points with ramsey getting just 2 or 3 the last few weeks. wondering if it makes sense to ship him. not sure who i'd bring in though

I was torn between bringing in Vorm or Westwood last week - went for the short term fixtures in the end. Good chance I'll be getting Vorm in the Jan wildcard though.

I think Ramsey will come good - he gets into advanced positions and has set himself a double digit goal target for the season. Arsenal's fixtures also decent. Only alternatives I would consider are Sess or Walters, but I'll probably stick with Ramsey (being an Arsenal fan probably makes this easier for me!)

I think AVB has to start with Sturridge - he's the ONLY striker that is scoring for Chelsea at the moment. Mata and Sturridge should be nailed on in the wide roles of the front 3, with Drog/Torres fighting it out for the central role. Malouda is the only risk to Sturridge, but he's been poor and out of favour of late.

    The team for GW13:

    Vorm (Given)
    BAE, Kompany, Enrique/Simpson (De Laet)
    Silva, VDV(v), Walters, Drenthe (Dyer)
    Rooney, Sturridge, RVP(c)

    0.8 in bank, 1FT

    1 – Rooney—>Hernandez/Aguero (leaning to the Pea)
    2 – De Laet—>Wilko/Gabbidon
    3 – Rooney + De Laet—>Hernandez + Jones (-4)
    4 – Given + De Laet—->Wilko/Gabbidon + Westwood (-4)

    Any ideas? Ta in advance

I would say you don't need to change your front 8. If I didn't have Rooney I probably wouldn't be looking to bring him in yet, but given you do he's the kind of player that can score huge, and his fixtures are great.

Bit of a boring transfer but I'd probably just do De Laet -> Bown (Sunderland good fixtures and seem to have tightened up at the back). Given needs to go soon too, but Vorm is a solid pick for the next 3 weeks, so there's no rush. Definitely don't think you need to take a hit.

I know what you mean, but he is taking up 12M. I feel it is essential to have Jones so I want to work him somehow (downgrade Rooney or Given).

Was thinking of Brown, but then I will have quite a lot of money in my defence. Is Gabbidon/Wilko a good shout for coming GW? Will save some cash so I could do Rooney-->Hernandez or Aguero or Given--->Ruddy to fund getting Jones in.

If getting Jones in is your main goal, now might not be a bad time to lose Kompany with MCY's fixtures. I think Kompany/Enrique/Jones/BAE is far too much money spent in defence.

That is not a bad shout. I was certain that at start of season, Kompany would be a season keeper. Now may not be a bad time to get Jones and then get Kompany back in Jan WC. Kompany/Enrique/Jones/BAE is a lot in defence, but I don't know where else to spend the money. If i do Kompany ---> Jones I still have to play one of Simpson or Enrique though.

Still having De Laet is like having a Ferguson, so he got to go soon!

really like the look of #3. but that does involve taking a hit. only other problem is you'd have quite a lot of money in defense between BAE, kompany and enrique and would probably be benching one each week im guessing

This week I would bench Enrique. I would downgrade BAE to brown week after and maybe get BAE back for DGW as I am liking look of Sunderlands fixtures from a defensive view as they dont score many goals a player like Sess/Bentdner doesnt interest me.

The extra 0.5 from BAE-->Brown could be useful if i get impatient with Sturridge or Drenthe.

    Bosingwa
    M. Petrov
    And. Johnson

    and possibly:
    Given
    D. Simpson
    Suarez

which two should I change for this upcoming week? and suggestions on who to bring in?

      I'm leaning towards:

are these good transfers, and should I make them now or wait?

True. That's how the Bulgarian dissident writer Georgi Markov got assassinated - the KGB used an umbrella to fire a pellet containing ricin into his leg:

    Hi Guys

Surely the transfers done under the wildcard are not counted in your total transfers?

The reason I ask is that in my mini-league the guy below me has 45 points to my 37 this gw. I am still 3rd as I was before start of the gw but he has gone from 2nd to 4th.

He has played his wildcard but has also had 22 transfers!!!!!!!

    Confused (as well as senile)

which is also why he's now dropped below you even though you got less than him this week, because he lost 4 points for every over-transfer. he didn't score enough to make up for the hits.

Yes that's what it looks like - some of them must have worked as he has 634 points. But thinking about it if you take off the 11 fts and one week when he used the wc that means 11 -4s in 10 weeks which is not that many when you read posts on here week after week when people are talking about - 8s and 12s.

The 22 transfers on his team page refers to total transfers since GW1, it should say how many transfers done this week? Easier if you can link his team page or what number his team I.D is?

Ok, the 0 gw transfers is for this coming gw, he took a 12 pt hit this week which comes off his score now. If you look at his gw history you'll see he had 601 pts before this gw started- he's got 45 pts -12 hits which gives him total of 634.

    Vorm, Krul
Simpson, Neil Taylor, Shawcross, Kompany, Enrique
    Moses, Murphy, Fox, VDV, Silva
    Van Persie, Rooney, Sturridge

2 free transfors, 1,7 in the bank

    My thoughts:
    A. my first choose is Larsson for Moses (but that requires getting klasnic for sturridge)

i don't trust united defenders due to rotation risk, but Jones keeps proving me wrong, so i could lose shawcross, or preferably one of simpson/taylor

Don't think today or the Arsenal game were very interesting tactically but he's doing something right for sure, and he's doing something wrong for sure too as they look awful at times.

Liverpool are at last turning into an interesting team to watch, hail unpredictability!
