Who's the best replacement for Woody after this week to go with Westwood, Ruddy ,P Jones, Simpson, Brown & Wilkinson– Have 4.7m for his replacement and deciding between:
a) N Taylor
b) McAuley
c) A Hughes
d) WardOpen ControlsWard offers the best attacking threat and rotates well with Wilko. Hughes would be a close 2nd but fixtures count against him
Open ControlsBoyata if he back from ankle injury will be a great 4 mill def.
Open ControlsId say Rangel. Last week i read a stat that he was second only to Yaya Toure for the most touches in the premier league. Furthermore, hes an offensive RB thats in the box for corners too.
Open ControlsOnly problem with SWA is that they don't rotate well with SUN and STO (2 of my other defenders). I'm looking for someone with good fixtures in GW14,16 and 17 especially. I'm likely to start P Jones most weeks and then Wilko/Woody when their fixtures are decent, and Simpson/XXX when not. Swaying towards Ward at the moment as his fixtures are SUN, STO, NOR for thos 3, and he offers an attacking threat. Better options out there?
Open ControlsIn that case, Ward is probably your best bet. I have a question of my own if you dont mind answering? Are the bonus points still due out tomorrow morning or will they all come through on Tuesday morning due to the Spurs game?
Open ControlsCheers, yeah he's pencilled in as my GW14 transfer. Re BPs, normally they come out on the Monday morning around 10am, but there was one week when they delayed them until the Tuesday (I think this was a one-off though)
Open ControlsYes, the Tuesday week confused me! Cheers though (:
Open ControlsI seem to recall if there's a Monday match they update all weekend BPs on Monday morning anyway, and Monday's BPs on Tuesday.
Open ControlsYeah. Its just that there was a gameweek where all the BPs came out on Tuesday but like Jinswick said, it was a one-off. Cheers anyway though (:
Open Controls
I like B who im looking to get in soon or a Swans Def, Rangel? Solid returns at home.
Open Controls
Wolves without O' Hara & Hunt, can see goals for Chelsea next week. Sturridge in for Suarez or Adebayor (have VDV)?
Open ControlsNaah would not get Sturr, long term fixtures are poor.
Open Controls6.6m into the Chelsea attack. In fairness
Open Controlshold tight i reckon
keep ade (especially if he finally gets the points he deserves this week
I shipped suarez out in my wc but if you also have rvp then I would look at a cheapie for suarez
sturridge not bad but i dont trust chelsea AT ALL

...in that orderOpen Controlsmaybe bentdner a bit higher up actually
...or maybe not tooOpen Controls
So since it is on 11th January, will Adebayor miss the tottenham v everton replay, and therefore the DGW??
Open Controls(Cause of the African Cup of Nations)
Open Controlsok great (for me anyway!) thanks Demi
Open Controls
No, Adebayor won't be absent at all: he plays for Togo who won't be present at this year's African Cup of Nations.
This is beacuse Togo were banned from the 2011 qualifiers after they withdrew from the 2010 tournament in Angola following a fatal attack on their team bus. Adebayor retired from international football following the attack, but returned earlier this month to play for Togo during the recent international break.Open ControlsYeah I just remembered that. Can't believe they got banned.
I'm trying to work out who of the bug hitters will be absent from FPL in Jan - doesn't look like too many actuallyOpen Controls* big (unless you're from NZ, where bug is fine)
Open ControlsHere's a provisional list of FPL absentees during the African Cup of Nations:

Hah, forget that, Togo were reinstated into the 2012 ACN qualifiers in the end, weren't they? They were nowhere near getting through, however

Anyone actually see the Sunderland - Fulham game on Saturday? If so what was the verdict on the potential fantasy prospects? Bendy or Sess play well?
Open ControlsBendy looked uninterested. Sess looked lively. IMO Sess out of the 2...
Open Controls
"Naah would not get Sturr, long term fixtures are poor"
I don't think so Kostya... have a look:
WOLVES Newcastle MAN CITY Wigan Spurs FULHAM ASTON VILLA Wolves SUNDERLAND Norwich Swansea
Unitil Winter WC, Chelsea's overall fixtures are bloody good!Open ControlsThey do, but will he start every game? Ba/Klasnic and others around that price have similar fixtures and are nailed on.
Open ControlsBesides the Wolves and WIgan games I dont see chelsea getting too many goals.
Open ControlsFulham? Villa? Sunderland? Norwich? ... plenty of goals there IMO
Open Controls
But for Adebayor or Suarez?!
Open Controls
Nope
Open Controlsnot the worst move I've ever seen
kompany maybe a bit knee jerkOpen ControlsAnd Rooney is much more nailed on than Hernandez.
IMO it's a bad move.Open Controls
I like it
Open Controlsis rooney worth 12mil when there are at least 5 or 6 strikers that are performing better now and also have the potential to score REGULARLY
strikers are all about GOALS in this game and a guy in a yellow shirt that is the pointy end of his unfashionable teams goals is way more value than a red shirt juggernaut that is in a crap patch along with his overated team
FORM gentlemen...FORMOpen ControlsYeah he's worth it. Trust me.
Open ControlsBut come on here. I know there are a lot of "Rooney for the season ftw" people here, but it's definitely indisputable that IF you had ditched Rooney what, 4-5 GWs ago you could have far more points now than you do. So he hasn't been worth it over that extended period. It may be that he's about to go wild and score lots in which case he should be brought back in now. Then the best strategy wouldn't have been sticking with him, it would be dropping him and bringing him back.
Open ControlsIndeed. Sold him in GW8 š
Open ControlsIts pretty moronic to use sheer results as a means of judging the best strategy. Otherwise, of course, we would come to the conclusion that the best strategic move this week would have been to sell Rooney for Yakubu for a points hit.
I'm pretty sure that the longer you stick with the ROO, the higher the chance of him coming good over those players competing with him for a place in our teams becomes. My strategy has been to go for Rooney, Van Persie and Aguero all in my team at once, as they are the truly explosive players, so I hope that at no point in the season will all my rivals get loads of points over me at once.Open ControlsI hope you don't actually confuse 1 GW and 4-5GWs when you play FPL. Could get a little bit annoying.
Open Controls

I so nearly did bentnder?johnson (nor) instead of morison/walters
I also brought in wilko which was my only backfire
form is the ONLY indicator in this game (I say it EVERY time I regret a bad move...EVERY time)Open ControlsGood job.
As usual I think it's an oversimplification to say form is the ONLY indicator in the game, because fixtures can destroy form in one week - countless examples :o) Still, it's more correct than saying class or fixtures are the ONLY indicator.Open ControlsIn fact your biggest gamble right there, Baines, certainly can't be described as a transfer based on form. That was probably more about fixtures wasn't it?
Open Controls
Might be stupid, but i'm seriously considering Aguero to Bendtner this week. I'd have Silva for city coverage.
As we're entering the Xmas period, there could be potential rotation with Sergio, and i'd expect Bendtner to play all of Sunderland's games- they don't really have anyone else.
Sunderland's next 3 fixtures have great potential. City have Liverpool, Norwich, Arsenal & Chelsea in the next 4Open ControlsPersonally keeping -he seems to get the starts in the PL And after looking at todays game, all the sides dont really defend that well.
Open Controls+1 I just got him in for Suarez for this week do he's not going anywhere unless Rooney's form improves. My problem is what to do with Mata after the Wolves game. Anyone like Mata > Walcott?
Open Controls
I'm toying with the idea of ditching Aguero also. Will probably do it after the NOR game though as that could be a big score. I'm thinking that Chico or Suarez are the way to go rather than Bendtner as Sunderland don't score that many, and as an Arsenal fan I know how frustrating Bendy can be.
Open ControlsWouldn't do that if you already have him. City look fixture proof on the attack (and also on the defense, in a bad way) and we've already had 4/6 CL group matches with the next one on Tuesday. The pattern is pretty clear, Aguero is #1 and starts when fit. City coverage is essential given they are the best attacking side in the Prem both on form and class, and there's no other safe City striker.
Open Controls
My front 8 i am happy with for now. So looking to freshen the defence:
Vorm (Given)
BAE, Kompany, Enrique/Simpson (De Laet)
0.8 in bank and 1 FT. What looks best:
1 – De Laet—>Brown
2 – Kompany—>Jones (surely Kompany season keeper?) and playing Enrique or Simpson (perhaps Simpson as Utd may score less)
3 – Rooney + De Laet —->Hernandez + Jones (-4)
4 - De Laet-->Wilko/GabbidonOpen ControlsThanks.
I still fancy getting Jones after the Newc game or after city played Norwich. Downgrade Given to Ruddy, Rooney to Hernandez to fund it? Or straight swap Kompany--->Jones?Open Controls
I see you're taking my earlier advice... ;0)
1) all day long for me.
Kompany -> Jones possibly after the MCY vs NOR game.Open Controls1 seems best doesnt it. Yeah, doing Kompany-->jones as you suggested earlier would mean I have to play Simpson or Enrique this week which isnt ideal.
By the time I want Jones, Smalling could be fit and Jones could be rotated!Open Controls
1
followed by 2 (because of next 6 fixtures only, Kompany after that)
followed by 4Open Controls
Torres, Suarez & Ramsey >>Lampard, Helguson & Adebayor, worth it? would mean an 8 pt hit though, maybe just the forwards to be done for 4 pointer? sick of ramsey and his 2-3 point hauls.
Open ControlsJust ditch Torres and Suarez for now I think. I think Lampard and Adebayor won't get you the dream hauls you're hoping for. Ade has not scored for about two months now and Chelsea are in a bit of a crisis right now, I don't know if they'll score enough (or more to the point, if Lampard will) or they'll go defensive on us.
Open Controlsyeah good point, was thinking if ade does well tomoz then i might consider him, but i think im just gonna do torres & suarez to chico and helguson/hoilett/yak/bendtner, gonna make up my mind over the week. i was getting sucked into the lampard transfer before but spun out of it ha.
my persistence has ran out with torres, even if he has a brace against wolves (unlikely), it's likely he'll just dry up again anyway so need to boot him. Suarez has just become too frustrating, could be telling ourselves 'he'll come good' until GW 26 or so and by then too late, he also needs to go.
thanks.Open Controls
Hey mate how's ur gameweek going? Ended up using my free to get the Beast in goals... worked out nicely. hopefully can keep up the good returns.
Not liking those for a 8 point hit. Looking to trade Suarez myself. Shame Torres wasn't gone a long time ago buddy, no points on that ship.
Can u do Suarez & Torres for Stuge & Rooney? I think it's only a matter of time for Roon.Open Controlshiya matey, my gameweek's going fairly well, 48 with BAE and VDV to play, haha nice one, i had a good feeling westwood would work out, so good when a keeper keeps a cleanie, rare this season.
i know yeah shame about torres, annoyed the hell outta me today when he got benched, 50 mil on the bench, if i was abromavich i would be strangling AVB right now, he's finally setting sail next gameweek though.
i could easily do them for rooney and studge yeah, leaves me with 19.8m for two forwards, i'd have quite a bit left over too, but thinking of doing it to chico and helguson OR Saha, go a bit of thinking to do on that one over the week.Open ControlsNice one. On 43 with VDV & Ade to come... hoping for some points there to get me through to the cup. guess your the same.
Ok yeh u def have some thiking there, just so many viable options right now up top. Choose Wisely.
Actually thinking about Dumping Nani this week, not been performing plus Utd getting some midfielders back so cud be benched.
Suarez & Nani out for Rooney & Sess.. really tempted even though Roon not produced yet.Open Controlsyep im sure they will dig some points out tomorrow no probs, good feelign about ade tomoz as well. unfortunately i didn't enter the cup, just didnt feel the need in the end.
yeah thats teh problem, so many options out there atm and at budget prices, tough, but i'll choose carefully no worries:-).
hmm if i had ani i would be very tempted to drop, and as you say players coming back, threat of rotation and all that will be greater. Rooney & sess seem viable options, just wish ronndog stepped it up on saturday gone, he will return to bring point haulage, that i do beleive.Open ControlsCheers for your thoughts.
Here's to a good final game and hopeful green arrows. No doubt will speak to u later in the week for final transfer discussions.Open Controlsno probs man, appreciate your views too. Aye, may it be a good day tomorrow for us spurs players left, i feel it will be. Yep no probs will speak to you surely later on the week, let transfer ideas commence š
Spk to you soon buddy.Open Controls
You are taking too many point hits. I thought few weeks ago you were taking a 12 points hit for the long term?
Open Controlshaha it was for long term, i'v eased out of the hits now, will probably just be getting rid of torres for a freebie, or if i'm feeling confident suarez too, they just both need to go, persisted enough with them tbh. not taking any 8 pointers from now on though, i've grown a little patience lol.
Open ControlsLol yeah mate its not worth it, probably best just to do Suarez and hope Torres start against Wolves for a cricket score. Agree with the above poster Ramsey is not the biggest problem right now and certainly not worth the point hits imo š
Open Controlsd'ya know thats not such a bad idea actually, maybe AVB will ahve learnt his lesson today, didnt help with studge coming on and scoring straight away though s he's likely to get the nod ahead of torres, however he could come in for drogba, i dunno, yeh i will consider just getting rid of suarez then and look into torres's potential of starting come the wolves game. i agree, ramsey is staying put now š
i was looking at your history before, how do you do it? just...how? lol, week in week out, 8 green arrows! you da man.Open ControlsYou've got a really nice team and just unlucky with Torres and Suarez. Just monitor Chelsea in the UCL and see whats going on with Torres. I was thinking of getting him against Wolves and that's probably why Im urging people to stick with him for another week lol š
Lol its gotta be beginner's luck š just hoping to qualify for the cup cause it looks like fun!Open Controlshaha thanks man, i like it too, its finally the way i like it, but liek u say just been a tad unlucky, i shall monitor with close eyes though over the week with torres, probably wise to try and stick it out another week instead of getting hot headed about today's bench warming, its not like i can judge him on his play, he may of played excellent if he had of got game time.
haha yeah luck always has a part to play, but so does the attitude and approach, patience, which is key, attributes i should know well by now with improving a lot each season, re-learnt this now and adapting lol. i didn't enter the cup, i should of, i just didn't bother in the end šOpen Controls
Yeah if AVB has any sense he should start with Torres cos Drogba has just been really awful/out of form whenever he plays.
Guess there's no point with the cup cause whoever ill be facing will take my ass to school lol but its my first year playing FF and any cup comp is still fun šOpen ControlsYep, AVB needs slapping after today lol, ah well, i will be watching with preying eyes over the coming week, should prove useful.
Yeah kinda wished i'd joined the cup now but not too bothered about it now. Nah if you carry on scoring like this you will be the one taking someone's ass to school lol. All good fun though as you say.
Right im off man, eyes are heavy now haha, your advice has been very useful this early morn, appreciate it. Night matey, be sure to speak to you soon :-).Open Controls
Is Ramsey going to get any assists/goals at all?
As a fan I follow the matches and he's played pretty damn well in most, just cannot get the last or second last touch on the ball (that's another roundabout way of thinking about goals and assists š ). I'm afraid he might be another assister of the assister like Modric. He does play in a more advanced position, behind RVP flanked by Walcott/Gervinho, but he doesn't seem to get into scoring positions.Open ControlsHere's a game: read this post, look at Ramsey's weekly scores, and see if you can guess the exact week that Isacki bought him. yes, that's right, he got him for gameweek 9. Classic case of a Fantasy Manager discounting what a player has done when he doen't happen to be in their Fantasy league team, I'm afraid.
Ramsey's done pretty well in terms of goals and assists over the domestic and European fixtures this season. You're just discounting the run that he went on before you had him, which is a stupid thing to do, and the points he's got in Europe, which are definitely relevant, and the contribution he's made to the Wales team, which isn't completely irrelevant either.
No way is Ramsey a head-in-hands, "why isn't it working?!?!" case like Baines was 24 hours ago. I advise you to stick with a player for a change, looking at the number of transfers you've made (10 points hits and a wildcard gone!).Open ControlsThanks for your utterly useless response which failed to even read the material which you based your criticism upon. You say I brought him in gameweek 9, fail, I brought him in gameweek 11 after observing his distribution of points and thinking he was worth a gamble. I didn't kneejerk him after the 10 or 7. Now, after 2 GWs involving matches I watched where he wasn't amongst the chances, I am wondering if I made the right choice.
Kneejerks? Perhaps you'd like to see how long I've stuck with Nani, Vorm, Enrique or indeed Suarez who I only tossed a few GWs ago and has vindicated my decision.
Must try harder.Open ControlsClassic case of a manager getting defensive about a player he owns and bypassing his brain. Unlike you, I am right there.
Open Controls
I would give him a little more time too actually. Another week or two wouldn't hurt, he still has good fixtures before the City game and he almost got a goal too, he is close to getting points and he does venture into the box a few times every game. I would definitely stick for the Fulham and Wigan games before the next excuse of possible December rotation becomes a key point
Open ControlsYeah like I say I'm just mulling over my decision, don't interpret this as me concluding to get rid. It's because the last two games were dominant against poorer opposition that it bothers me, if it was MCI/MUN/CHE/LIV/NEW/TOT I wouldn't even be asking. I'll keep him at least for Fulham and Wigan methinks.
Open Controls
Time for the MLS Cup Final fellas! David Beckham's first chance at silverware in the USA. Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan also starting
Open ControlsIf that doesn't get you going, how about this?
I wouldn't be happy if I scored that goal and it was wrongfully disallowed. What a hit.

Vorm begovic

im doing so bad the last 3 or 4 weeks and have already used my wild card im really stumped on what to do any comments please i know the obvious is to ditch torres but i feel i have bigger problems my team this was
howard
jones kompany jag ekotto
nasri silva cap cabaye arteta
ade, torres
kurl enqurie bannanOpen Controlsleft out graham on the bench too
Open ControlsFirst step to salvation is to get RVP in for Torres
Open ControlsNasri and Torres even if it is for a hit its still worth it. To VDV and Hernandez, that should put you in relatively good shape for next week
Open Controlsif you have 2 fts or are willing to take an 8pt hit id say torres to rvp, nasri to vdv, arteta to dyer/allen/moses
then next week look to get vorm in for howard as you already hav jags. and after taht look to downgrade ekotto and maybe jags as you have loads of money spent in your defense. especially if you will be benching one or two each week. look to slowly downgrade those defenders and then you can upgrade your third striker and a middieOpen Controls
Wanting to transfer either Larson, or Walters, My attack force is...
Silva, Bale, Pilkington, Sinclair, Ramsey
Klasnic,Aguero,RVP
1) Should I bother? My current team all has pretty good fixtures
2) Which would you get Walters or Larson and for who?
Thanks in advance for your oppinionsOpen ControlsI'd personally get a Sunderland player for the next 3 fixtures. Yes they were poor and hardly creating any chances yesterday against Fulham, but the next 3 games just cannot be ignored.
I think Larsson would be the best coverage but your mid is fine, so I'd probably do Klasnic to the Bendy bus. Might be bias tho cause I really dont rate Klasnic šOpen ControlsLooking pretty good to me.
1) Probably not... but if you were to and you had the cash
2) Pilkington --> Walters - why?....
a) he's up front but still classed as a mid on FPL.
b) fairly decent run of fixtures.
c) manages to score points, even against good opposition.
they're my thoughtsOpen ControlsI think I am gonna buy Larsson this week, be my guest sell him š

You've got a sick mid and team value š”Open ControlsI thought I got a good MF, but the return made me sick so far. I really wouldn't expect Silva + Mata + Nani will return 1+2+3 = 6 points. š³
Your points and rank are quite impressive though.Open Controls
Steve Morison? Down to 4.9? Hmmm
Open ControlsYes, he is.. Good cheapie Fw. Norwich seem to know how to score and he has done well.

I actually think AVB has done too much rotation..
Only Gk that he hasn't tried to rotate yet.Open Controls
So I've got a useless question. Under the new assist rules, would Nani get an assist for Rooney's bicycle kick goal against City last year? Did he get one then? I sort of think he didn't but he would now but I can't remember/slash don't know because it may have been deflected from outside the box...
Open ControlsYes, he did get an assist. No reason he wouldn't. I had both that day.

Players i want rid of: Warnock, Lescott, Moses, Suarez
Only 1 free transfer though so will have to take a hit this week. Any suggestions?
Also, anyone else think Stephen Kelly fr Fulham @ £3.9m is a bargain now that Grygera's got a long term injury?Open ControlsI know it sucks to say 'hold onto moses,' but think about this: he'll just be on your bench anyway since you'll surely be playing dyer next week anyway..
Suarez is as dead as dead weight can get. Tons of options to get instead: Ba and Sturridge being my favorites.
Stephen Kelly is a total bargaign....if Fulham's fixtures weren't downright ugly. stay clear, imo.Open ControlsFrom your lists and their fixtures, Id be looking to downgrade Warnock and Lescott first and use the funds to upgrade Moses. Fulham is playing the top 4 in the next 6 gw so I wouldnt bother getting their defenders.
Brilliant rankings the last 3 seasons btw!Open ControlsSuarez for me. He's gone beyond the tipping point now. Definitely set to drop 0.2 as well.
Open ControlsCheers for the replies. No love for Suarez here ha. I still think he's a great option who i'd probably only sell if he gets banned. I've pretty much narrowed down my options to
A. Lescott & Moses --> Larsson & budget defender (already have a solid defence and it'd free up some funds)
B. Suarez & Moses --> Larsson & SturridgeOpen Controls
Which one, folks?
A. Agbon > Helguson/Klasnic; Nani > Lamps
B. Agbon > Roo; Nani > 6-6.5 mid (Drenthe/Brunt)
C. Others.
My dream team at the moment:
Vorm
Caulker Brown Wilko
VDV Silva Lamps Johnson
RVP Roo Helguson
Subs – Ruddy, Moses, Enrique, Simpson.Open ControlsElnino, I owe you big time, so I will help!
United have better fixtures, if you can get Larsson for Nani, I think B is your choice. Even if its just walters, I think his form looks strong for choice B.
Again, thanks a million.Open ControlsHahaha no worries, Newman. I was eventually trying to avoid a price drop for Studge as well. So, some selfish interests there š
Thanks. I've been contemplating on who's more urgent at the moment - Rooney or Lampard.
1. I reckon Lamps has the potential to wreak havoc against Wolves next week, esp with that terrible line up they're going to don?
2. United don't have great fixtures until GW15, imo. I can see 1-2 goals (in total) in the next 2 for them.
3. Also I know Chelsea aren't on great form, but atleast we aspire to score unlike united (who are just content to score a goal & keep possession for the rest of the game)
What stops me:
1. Lamps on 4 YCs
2. Might be rested if he plays the UCL/CC game. Unlike Roo, who is indispensable?
Would love to hear your thoughts.Open ControlsWolves are looking awful week. Lamps could go wild. Or, he could be anonymous like he was today. I personally don't love his form enough to splash that kind of cash on him when I would just want to dump him the week after, considering I could see newcastle keeping chelsea out completely. Lamps on 4 yellows is very bad. Way to expensive until he is suspended, for me. Again, I'm tempted, but just not enough. too many good options at midfield, in the 6-7 mil bracket for me to splash for him.
You're right about United fixtures, but I am forced to think a healthy ashley young opens them up. There were moments of brilliance for them yesterday. At the very least, united are likely to get a peno at home. I think rooney was very close a couple times today, and I really think its a matter of time.Open ControlsGreat points, Newman.
OK is this a reasonable analysis? With these in mind, what would you do?
A. Helguson + Lamps
Total PPG = 5.9 + 7.0 = 12.9;
Total Form = 7.0 + 5.5 = 12.5;
Total Value (season) = 7.9 + 6.0 = 13.9 (but helguson has played half the matches)
B. Roo + Walters
Total PPG = 6.8 + 4.8 (Walters) = 11.6;
Total Form = 2.5 + 5.0 = 7.5;
Total Value (season) = 6.2 + 9.0 = 15.2Open Controls
A.

I'd say it's been form over fixtures - for the best players. Seen that with RVP, Aguero, Dzeko, Lampard, even Balotelli when he plays. All scored against the traditional top four. Not sure about whether it holds for cheaper ones. I'd say Graham as you need all the help you can from the fixtures and the main scorers for SWA would be him or Sinclair.I'd say it's been form over fixtures - for the best players. So what's everyone's opinion on Nani? Underperforming, Utd's injuries easing? I guess midweek game will tell us more but any early thoughts on him holding the starting role next gameweek?
Open ControlsNot following them but aren't United are almost qualified with 2 to play? Also I understood Nani was a first choice player in an attacking team and you'd think home to Newcastle would warrant an attacking team. With Young back and Valencia playing it might get tricky for him I suppose. He has been unconvincing in the last few GWs and even his 7 last GW was a bit lucky. As an owner, at 10.1, I am more tempted to drop him than at any point in the season.
Open ControlsCompletely agree. The money can be used elsewhere by downgrading to some really tempting options. It's def 1 to think about, i'll be keeping an eye out midweek, if he plays more then 60mins without doing much he will be high on my list to ship out.
Open ControlsAnd of course if he plays less than 60 mins I will also be restless š
I'm thinking of going totally anti-football and downgrading him to Walters, which might give me enough cash to get Balotelli > Rooney. Or Hernandez.Open ControlsLooking at simular. Downgrading to Sess & getting Rooney for Suarez. Think the Roon big score is just around the corner and don't want to miss it. Also, like your move with Walters, tempting however Sess just shading it for me with the better fixtures for longer.

Pretty happy with my current team, but throwing it out there to see if anyone has any useful suggestions... with the disclaimer that I know STaylor's fixtures currently suck and that Begovic may need to go.
Begovic, Vorm
Richards, Shawcross, STaylor, NTaylor, Brown
Silva, VDV, Ramsey, Drenthe, Pilkington
RVP, Aguero, AdebayorOpen ControlsThat is a solid team. you mite want to look at Naylor out for someone like McCauley. Purely becasue I have him & Vorm also & hate when/if I need to double up with Swans def so will be doing that myself ASAP. Boring, maybe even unnecessary, but other then that I like ur team.
Open ControlsCheers mate, will see how WBA go for clean sheets over the next couple and maybe make the switch.

Team is
Vorm Ruddy
Kompany Enrique Simpson Wilkinson Brown
Vdv Silva Ramsey NANI MOSES
Rvp Strurridge SUAREZ
0.1 in bank
only problems for me are the players in capitals
thinking of doin nani and suarez to walters and rooney
leaves me money to upgrade moses next week.. any other options?Open ControlsI have the same 3 at the top of my hit list, using the same method was looking at Rooney & Sess this week for -4. Then upgrade Moses to Brunt next week, hoping West Brom have a striker or 2 back by then. I think it's time.

When is Suarez price drop expected ?
Open ControlsAnyone considering dropping Silva from now up to the Jan wildcard? Quite tempted to switch him to Lampard for his better fixtures. I'd still have MCY attacking coverage in Aguero.
Team linked. Thoughts?Open ControlsJinswick, I am sure you saw Fat Frank play yesterday... He was pathetic IMO..
Open ControlsHey John. I didn't see the game unfortunately (on pretty late here in Oz!)
Was he poor then? I know there is a lot of love for Silva on here (and rightly so), but Lampard has only scored 3 points less and imo is more capable of huge scores (which you want for captaincy material). Add Chelsea's better fixtures and that Lampard is pretty much never rotated (unlike Silva) and I actually think it could pay off. Losing 0.5m when getting him back in isn't ideal, but this games about points....
Whatcha reckon?Open ControlsLampard was on my radar also purely for the reasons you make. Yesterday he looked old and fat so I personally will avoid... I agree with you he is more than capable of huge scores and no doubt will get one against wolves..
Open ControlsWhat part of Aus you from?
Shame, didn't get a chance to see the Reds get up either. Will be watching the replay tonight though.
That is an interesting though. 1 i hadn't considered, but with the run of City approaching it may just be the right time to get rid of Silva, as long as you don't lose to much on him when buying him back.Open ControlsI'm actually from the UK but married to an Aussie (Brisbane based). We're moving to Hong Kong in a month so at least the timing will get slightly better!
I'm really tempted to get some CHE coverage in for this GW, and Lamps and Studge are the only ones I'm interested in. Would mean losing Aguero or Silva.Open ControlsNice. Was originally born in London myself, but moved here as a kid (melbourne), never lost the love for the EPL though.
Same, if i want to avoid a points hit the move for me this week looks like Suarez to Studge. Great value as long as he starts.Open Controls
Who is the best mid going around for 6.6m apart from Walters?
Open ControlsDrenthe or Sessegnon imo.
Open ControlsEagles, Larsson, Sinclair, Sess, maybe O'Hara when he's not suspended.
Open ControlsI like Sess for Form (ok) & Fixtures (Awesome).
Open ControlsJust 3 for me. Favour in order..
1. Larsson has form + fixtures.
2. Sess will be better with Larsson in team.
3. Drenthe has fixtures. Anyway, I think he needs Rodwell back in team to get free pass to roaming forwards.Open Controls
