Could get this team for a -4 next week (Ward + Martial --> Rose + Kane)

    Mignolet
    Bellerin Simpson Rose
    KDB Sanchez Iwobi Coutinho
    Aguero Mitrovic Kane

Looks good right? Although I know KDB and Coutinho are at risk there....

Disastrous two gameweeks for me so far..

From 3.4k after GW32 to 8.4k after GW33...then Saturday I jump up to about 6,2k, then Sunday to 5.5k and now straight back down to 9.4k.

    Players left:
De Gea, Darlow, Bellerin, Gabriel, Payet, Sanchez(c), Aguero, Sakho*, Coutinho*, KDB*, Lanzini*, Mitrovic*, Lukaku*, Coleman**, Clichy**,

    *Doubt to start/play at all
    **Out

    Tepid.

You'd think 2 goals and 2 assists (for WHATEVER reason the first wasn't awarded on FPL) in 2 sub appearances would set him straight..

          but..

          http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/04/16/rafael-benitez-describes-papiss-cisses-performance-in-one-word-p/

""Striker Papiss Cisse was fantastic up front and Aleksandar Mitrovic was good too when he came on," said Benitez. "When you win games everybody is happy. Today we saw what we expect from this team. We have to show the same in the other games. We were not thinking about the earlier win for Sunderland over Norwich. Now we can see the table but before the game it was about focusing on the game," he added."

          So who knows..

I hope you're right. Like I said above, that 28 points just from all of my players starting (and hopefully playing 60+) would certainly help my rank alone, then add in goals/assists/cleansheets/etc..

    Darlow
    Sakho, Gabriel, Simpson
Sanchez, De Bruyne, Ozil, Coutinho, Mahrez

Thinking Coutinho + Martial -> Mane + Kane. Anything better?

    Robles | Smalling | Payet | Martial

    1 FT & 1.5 ITB

I knew deep down getting carried away with dgw 34 & bench boost would cost everyone who got sucked into it myself included. Wish I could have resisted changing a winning team back in gw 33 (spurs players mainly, glad I at least kept Kane though). Just lucky everyone behind me in my money mini league also got sucked in too. Some even took a 24 point hit trying to get double gwk players for bench boost, half of which didn't play in the first game.

Bench boost was a curve ball because it is in its first season and it seemed very appealing but at a time in the season when teams are playing 4-5 games in 10-15 days it is in no way reliable because of rotation. At this stage it seems like triple captain is the best chip of the lot and the chip I should have focused on for this week.

I took a -8 to get Sanchez so I could move TC off Aguero and sold Alli two weeks ago. Other than that it's going really well.

TC = 1.5x a normal captain. It's not THAT good comparatively unless you get a mega-base score. It just so happened that Aguero scored a hattrick against a Chelsea that's already on vacation.

On Mitrovic: you'd think 2 goals and 2 assists in 2 sub appearances would set Benitez straight..but..

Well done everyone who held on to their Spurs assets. I went all out with 15 DGWers and currently I've scored 5 points less than my rival who had no idea what DGWs were and just kept his team as is. I have 16 players to come and he has 8, so there's still hope, although he's triple-captained Aguero...

    1. Jersey
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

not counting his Aguero TC, you come out way ahead there, don't you? you with your 15 DGWers.

i'm not so sure the 33WC/34BB is the disaster many are making it out to be. in fact, i don't think it is. it just isn't the pie-in-the-sky everyone was wishing for.

let's see the tally after gw35 is over.

      1. Pierce34
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

Well, one of my 15 is Darlow so you can pretty much write him off vs. a triple-captained Aguero! Other than that, I'm hopeful. But it seems that tomorrow his lead will increase a lot unless Aguero somehow blanks vs. one of the worst defences in the league...

u never know, stranger things have happened. Aguero may even be benched

        2. Jersey
          • 9 Years
          9 years, 9 months ago

if that's true, then it is his TC of Aguero, and not you selling your Spurs assets and getting 15 DGWers, that will have made the difference.

and Darlow already has 6 this week, same as Toby, and has another game to play.

      2. Pierce34
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

And yes, I very much agree with your second comment. The disaster for me was TC on Lukaku on GW33 (I wildcarded on GW32).

I know, but I believe the drop last night was around 40k?

Anyway I guess I just have to hope for a big week from the players I have

No chance with 33 after hits.
Averages went up 14 last night so you actually moved up.

    Hi all..
    Need some advice here.
Just 9 players for next GW..

Alli in is a given I think?
Who should I replace tho and any other move you would make for a hit with GW37 in mind too.
    Thanks a lot.

    Mignolet
    Sakho, Bellerin, Simpson
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Iwobi
    Kane, Aguero

    Robles, Martial, Payet, Reid, Lanzini
    3.2m, 1ft

    Lanzini- Alli
    Martial- Defoe for a -4?

Oh mannn, the fella who was the only HoF 1Ker not to get Lukaku on his WC failed to press BB this week. Already 32 points on his bench with Darlow and Mori to play again.

Not really. Believe I said a few times he should be got in now I am going to lose him. But cannot see who else I could lose. Lots of budget defenders. Need .2 for Lukaku > Kane and the extra cash can be used to fix defence for last few weeks.

Payet's fixtures are good after blank and possible DGW captain material .. who are your other mids?

Sanchez Firmino antonio Iwobi payet. Not many option an Iwobi price and Antonio won't get me much spare cash and still covers hammers fixtures.

Here's an idea. Looking at all fixtures til year end, I think this team sets up quite nicely.

GW35: Robles, Dann, KDB, Lukaku->Forster, PVA, Ali, Kane (-8)
    GW36: Save
    GW37: Moreno+Mitrovic->Cresswell+Defoe.

    GW37 Team

    DDG
    Smalling, Cresswel, PVA
    Firmino, Payet, Lanzini, Ali
    Aguero, Kane, Defoe

    Forster, Sanchez, Bellerin, Gabriel
    2.9M ITB

If he or Aguero don't make CL, they probably lose easy.
Guess his Newcastle minutes will tell the story.

Yeah, not a fan of -98 in a non DGW. But I'll already need a -4 to get 11, so getting Kane/Ali against Stoke, plus PVA now should pay off down the line.

I could also go get Ali for Payet and leave Dann for -4, but then it relies on KDB and Moreno starting GW35.

Like it apart from the -8. The Villa fixtures makes Forster a good option but will he play again ahead of DDG. Therefore is he worth 5 mil?

Fair point. Could just play 10 in GW35 and save the 4 pts
