Double Gameweek 34 is finally brought to its conclusion this evening as Arsenal entertain West Brom at the Emirates. Aside from Alexis Sanchez’ opener on Sunday, neither team has lived up to our expectations so far, with the Gunners drawing 1-1 against Palace, whilst Tony Pulis’ troops limped out of the blocks with a 1-0 home loss to Watford.

The underlying numbers certainly afford a degree of optimism for those who invested in Arsenal’s attack. Arsene Wenger’s men have registered more shots inside the opposition box (45) than any other side in their respective last four fixtures, and sit third for goals (ten), big chances (11) and goal conversion (16.1%). The Baggies, meanwhile, have scored just one of their 43 recent efforts, which equates to a 2.3% conversion rate, lower than any side.

In terms of defensive displays, both sides have shipped four goals in as many matches. Delving into the data, though, the Gunners have allowed their opponents no big chances over that period – that’s the most resilient record in the top-flight – whilst Tony Pulis’ side have conceded six by comparison. Given that Arsenal have also afforded the opposition less close-range efforts (26 to 31), the prospects of a clean sheet for the north London outfit also look alluring tonight.

165 from 26/30 players. Should be Top 7K and within touching distance of winning my ML. Great week 🙂

So who offered the most value this dgw?

The big boys came to the party. Studge Aguero and Sanchez dominated the dgw.

Makes me want to look at Costa and maybe Rooney(naaa) and Azza.

    146. forgot to activate BB but only had 16 pts there anyway so can most of those back later on.
only low points were Martial & Lukaku - and possibly Payet considering his fixtures.
Gotta feeling Jonty's rough with smooth thread this week could War & Peace a run for its money for length.

Expecting a red arrow next week

-4 and only fielding 10 (of which 7/8 will probably start)

Though one good captaincy can make that a green!

I think GW36 is the likelier game for Klopp to rest players - I hope! The Newcastle game has a lot riding on it for Newcastle (and Sunderland) whereas the GW36 is against Swansea which has nothing on it

Said after the Spurs game I wouldn't post until the GW was over. Here I am!

163 all out. Disappointments were: Gabriel, Milner, Kaku, Cout, Lanzini, Sakho & Martial only playing 1 game fully.

Also can't help but feel TC wouldve been great rather than BB considering SANCHEZ and Kun scored so big.

Yes Triple Captain probably was the better chip to have a massive week

Bench Boost equally saved a fair few from rotation hell and acquired many points others lost.

Equally bench boosted created more reasons to be let down by rotations!

165, gone up almost 775K to the brink of the top 100K since GW25 and increased my lead in a cash ML by 12pts to 25. Can't complain.

    A -4 worth it on a 1 week punt or play 10?

So Wellbeck was a let down but cannot be too disheartened or greedy with Bellerin and Sanchez TC, dodged the Aguero bullet there.
But my question is this, should I keep Wellbeck, especially after Giroud hardly set the place on fire and limited options in that price bracket. What you good people say. Eh?

Extremely disappointed with Özil. Despite that, very very satisfied with 192 (193 if Bellerin get 1 BP) points after a -8 hit.

Crazy gameweek after all the transfers

Top three in my mini league, I only extended my lead by 2 points as both rivals finished two points behind me.

I had 15 dgw and bench boost - transfers.
One had Aguero Captain and the other had three Spurs, result was pretty even.

141 all out, feels like a bad score going on what's being posted on here, at least 25 short of what I would have been happy with. Guess having the wrong Liverpool assets killed me. Should not have been too timid to change Lukaku and Coutinho to Sturridge and Milner.
