      I think Fosu will be rotated heavily for the rest of the season, Coutinho we know nothing of what might happen to his rotations, Mitro has fallen out of favour, Gabriel has to win his spot back now and Ward has horrible fixtures. Start with those who will get least game-time. How much ITB have you got?

        If Nasri is ruled out, would it be better to get rid of him over Bolasie instead? Tough fixtures and he is worth more which allows me to get Vert/Dier instead of Walker/Rose

          You probably want to get rid of both of those soon.. maybe one this week one next.. don't think Vert or Dier are worth anymore than Walker or Rose actually the full backs are the ones with the goal threat and back four is finally settled

            I'm all out of chips. In retrospect I wasted the TC on Lukaku in GW33 from OR perspective but it allowed me insurance on wrapping up my work mini league so I guess I don't feel that bad about it. Weirdly I wish I had hung on to the AOA to try to play in GWK 38 since those games seem to skew to blowouts.

    Is it the correct strategy to take into account sunk costs? For example, I have already taken a -4, I could take another -4 to do Coutinho to Ali, but am concerned that taking a -8 will significantly drop my rank. If I hadn't already taken a hit, I would probably go ahead with the move.

      Personally I feel the people on this site are overly reluctant to take hits. I took a -20 this GW and ended up 24 points better off for those transfers. Fortune favours the brave right?

        taking a hit when someone has a dgw is a lot diff though. the top midfielders and strikers average 6 points a game. so that is only 4 points more than if your current player starts and does nothing else. the benefit of taking the hit is in the long term but towards the end of the season, that is no longer the case. there are certain times which are fixture dependent.

      Lessons learnt from DGW are the squads will be heavily rotated (e.g. toby, alli and kane). Unless you can guarantee that those players you bring in will reap in more points....the players you mention still have something to fight for (e.g. title, top 4)

      I saw him live tonight, what a tall drink of water. He's also slow as shiz. I don't think he fits their optimal line up and the one game where he could have actually come in handy vs Carroll, he wasn't played. I commiserated with a lot of suffering Arsenal fans tonight.
