Gameweek 36 culminates with a showdown at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to end Tottenham’s bid for the title.

The Blues prepared for this one with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Bournemouth last time out and with a double Gameweek 37 just around the corner, tonight’s match affords an early scouting opportunity as we fine-tune out plans ahead of the weekend’s deadline.

Of the two sides, though, it’s Spurs who boast the greatest goal threat ahead of a match they need to win in order to keep their slim chances of clinching the Premier League intact.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men lead their hosts by 75 shots to 46 over their respective last four – a tally bettered only by Liverpool (80) – whilst the visitors have also offered a far superior close-range threat, racking up 43 attempts inside the box to Chelsea’s 31.

In terms of defensive data, Spurs again impress more than the deposed champions, who have managed a single clean sheet in ten Gameweeks – against Aston Villa. The visitors have afforded the opposition just 25 efforts inside the box – a tally bettered by just four other defences – with Chelsea not too far back on 30.

Whilst Foxes fans will be hoping for a title-winning favour from Guus Hiddink’s side, then, the numbers suggest that the visitors still have reason for optimism as they look to keep the race for the crown alive for at least one more round of fixtures.

Who else is already bored of this Leicester nonsense... who cares if they won the league move on... no one would have cared about the club if they got relegated and diminished to nothingness like many other teams have done before them...

What!! it's the greatest story in sport all over. A team worth less than Sterling wins the league! Come on!

Otamendi and Alli to PVA and Hazard done for -4.

Might do Kane/Aguero>Sturridge, depending on Liverpool starting XI and Liverpool/City result midweek.

I'll have one more go at this before bed. Got lost on the last page.
Which scores more for the DGW...

    A) Simpson (EVE) & Carroll (SWA MUN)
    B) Cresswell (SWA MUN) & Defoe (CHE EVE) -4

Or... Pick A, and an alternative DGW defender (no Utd/Eve) for the hit

Of the two, I'd say B. I've got Simpson too but can't see Leicester keeping clean sheet v Everton now, think it'll be an open game with pressure off. However, I'd rather have Carroll than Defoe so if you can afford it go Cresswell & Carroll.

Money is not the issue. I'd have 3M in the bank after these transfers.

The problem is I already have 2 Hammers, so have to decide between Carroll or Cresswell, and I'd rather not be without either, but I reckon Carroll has the bigger upside

Ah ok, see your dilemma. I'd agree with you, Carroll ahead of Cresswell.

I'd definitely reconsider Simpson though and maybe try get a DGWK player in. An alternative is possibly Moreno. Liverpool can be risky but he was rested last week, Brad Smith is suspended and Klopp mentioned that Flanagan is still not right physically since returning. Seems there aren't many other options at left back.

That's a great point about Brad Smith's suspension!! I hadn't thought about that. I may take the chance. Cheers mate

Wonder how Leicester will celebrate winning the title. They had a racist orgy last year just for staying up. Where do you go from there?

Aguero going to fall tonight ?
Is it safe to assume he will play at the weekend if City are out of Europe?
Hard to make any transfers until after European action and see if there is fallout from tonight
