Disagree to be honest. It confirms that the hamstring was first and foremost in Redknapp's mind when making the decision.
Sure, Defoe will get the odd start, but if the hammy is OK, VDV will generally get the nod.Open Controls
means less playtime for VDV (60~ 70 min) and resting more often? 'Arry sounded like he wanted VDV on bench more bcoz of Injury concern and less bcoz he found Defoe as a replacement.. Anyways a 60 min VDV is more useful than a 90 min Lampard 😉 (i know i know.. controversial)
