We cast an eye over the members’ data now, assessing some of the top performers over Gameweek 4’s fixtures. Chelsea and Everton’s improving frontmen are assessed, as are West Ham and Man City’s standout weekend performers, whilst we also analyse a couple of new recruits at Goodison and the Bet365 ahead of some fine fixtures.

Doesn't seem like the kind of game he'll prosper in tbh - Giroud/Ozil to do well.

I'm going for Kane, but if you don't have him, I reckon Ibra is the standout - Watford are very very poor at the back this season

Good rank but at this stage it means nothing as you'll have ten or even hundreds of thousands of players around you on either the same rank or separated by only a handful of points.

The chips also make your rank fools gold as you'll never really know your true rank until the end of the season once all chips are played and out of the game.

I get you though, it's fun to build your ego even if you know it's not real. I do it too. 😉

Caz On pens. That's basically why.

        2. ⭐ Bemba_Da ⭐
          • 15 Years
          9 years, 4 months ago

That is a terrible comment IMO. Cazorla is a very good pick, he is on penalties and the majority of set pieces. We have seen quite a few penalties this season and Cazorla himself has scored 2 of them.

In previous season he has been priced at 8.5-9m, I consider a player with this much responsibility in a top team to be a bargain at 7.5m

Ignore the stats from last season where he only got 3 assists because he was injured for the majority of the season. Instead look at the previous 3 seasons, double digit assists in 2 out of 3 of the seasons.

I can't see how out of all this you say he is a terrible pick? If it's the fact he is playing deep then that argument again is flawed as he is allowed to roam further forward when playing alongside Xhaka in particular. He peppers in 3/4 shots regularly a game.

Snodgrass is very cheap and takes all the set pieces (and is rather adept at them too). A great enabler with the cost of Aguero/Ibra to consider.

Cazorla is taking pens (of which there have been a lot this season) and is the cheaper alternative to Sanchez and Ozil who had a badly timed blank in the last match.

I am really hoping Redmond has a good weekend. He's the perfect FF asset.

Don't get duped by that "on paper" striker lark. Plenty of other mids are playing a higher avg position than Redmond and don't even get recognised for it.

Redmond is no further up the pitch than even Tadic in his own team.

If he doesn't perform for you this gw I'd be looking to get rid of him. 5 gws is ample time to have a non performing player in your team, and at his price point there's plenty of performing alternatives.

If he finds form later you can always bring him back in.

Good question. I assumed he would rotate with Fernandinho and play deeper?

I think he's more of an 8 than a 6. At Dortmund he played alongside Bender/Weigl/Kehl who are more defensive minded.

It will make Aguero even more essential and City's midfield more of a minefield.

Who is clouser to Man Utd starting XI Rashford or Mkhitaryan (for PL ofcourse)?
I think that Rashford must play, he makes team sharper, but his natural position is not on the wing and Rooney and Ibra are untouchables, so I m not sure...

He'll start this weekend probably on the wing. At some point Mou will put Rooney there instead.

Aguero was my UCL captain, but didn't play. He plays tonight.

          Q. Can I still change to Ronaldo?

          Thanks.

            Yes.

But you should really be asking yourself why you captained Aguero in the first place over a Barca attacker.

I think ive managed to gather a decent team with kunbraku

            Foster
            Williams stones Valencia kingsley amat
            Hazard lallana Snodgrass capoue Antonio
            Lukaku ibra aguero

Yes mf lack big hitters except hazard but Antonio lallana seemed to be good budget buys and Snodgrass and capoue can rotate and who Is to say capoue can't continue his scoring streak.

            Thoughts?

Been playing around with the same. It's basically either that or 4.5m defs. e.g.

                Heaton - Pickford
                Evans - Pieters - Robertson - Holebas - Amat
                Hazard - Cazorla - Lallana - Antonio - Maloney

                Yes and he trusts Giroud.

Wenger on the red cards: "The ball was on the other side, I did not see what happened. I think the first yellow card [for Giroud] was very harsh already, it wasn’t a foul. The second, he tells me he has done nothing at all and Olivier is honest so I believe him. And Verratti told me as well that he has done nothing, so I said look, ‘go together to see the referee and tell him you did nothing."

Giroud should play every week. Did u see the impact he had on the game yesterday after he came on. Created space for Sanchez to make those forward runs. Even impacted the game defensively by allowing Sanchez to track back and help Monreal on the left flank - something which Iwobi was not doing at all.
