        Having a poor few weeks in FPL now. Really at a loss with what to do with my team, going forward. Man United are looking in the goals again, and have a great upturn of fixtures.

    Can't decide if I should remove one of my Spurs players as I have Ade, VDV, Bale. I have a midfield of Silva, Walters & Ferguson. I have got 1 FT and 1.5 in the bank. VDV is also about to drop in price but who is a good option to bring in?

      Already brought in Nani for VDV - means VDV will have a big week coming up.
      Did VDV instead of Bale as it would cost 0.5 to get Bale back and 0 for VDV.
      Considering 8 point hit (probably not) to do Ramsey Ade > Moses Rooney as well.

    Got to be a bit more careful about what I say on the site now. Most of my rivals know I use it and the main rival even knows my name (it's pretty obvious). He knew the transfer I'd done last week, and then knew one of two of the players I was going to bring in on a hit.

    But he just lurks and doesn't say anything the cheeky bastard! I bet he's even lurking now.

    Vorm, Westwood

    BAE, Raylor,. Jones McAuley, Brown

    VdV, Bale, Tiote, Brunt, Silva

    Ba, RvP, Yak

    I was gonna change my keeper but decided I’ll wait till WC to do that.

    I have 4.9 in bank and can get any mid bar Frank. I want to get Nani in this week, question is do I take out VdV or do I take out Brunt (I’ll be waiting until tomorrow just in case Silva gets injured)? Secondly who do I replace the other one with, am thinking Theo, Adam or Mata (though Mata and Studge, when in get him GW18 or 19, might be too much Chelsea?) What do you guys think?

          I am in a similar position to you, but I have Drenthe who not getting mins. At least Brunt is. Ramires is not worth the hit IMO, Mata for sure is worth a -4. Look what he did vs Wolves, I am going be shitting my pants next week.

            hmm he is against Wigan, but I'm not making the mistake of taking hits before all matches finish again, that is what cost me leadership of my ML this weekend, may take the hit and then do nothing for a week in order to get 2 frees. Will decide after 2moro's game. Hope is that Chelsea win but Terry gets sent off (one can but dream)

          Whilst it was infuriating at times, it at least allowed fringe players to earn good points. This year it's all far to balck & white. Scorer gets points + Bps, which is frankly ridiculous.

            But RVP was the only scorer in the game, scoring possibly the goal of the season but gets penalised for shots off target and the fact that Song had a great 'stats' game.

        I tend to agree because majority of time last season bps were awarded to the best performing players.

        Now if a player plays great but has a few shots off target they more likely won't get any bonus whilst someone who had a couple of poor shots but on target and made a few passes will get 3bps

      similar to myself, i have ramsey issues. people are forgetting VDV is a world class player, the fact he aint on pens is annoying but he does generally hog all other set pieces. plus i have ade as well so all not lost re spot kick duties.

      basically, you are right to keep him for 1 more week.

        Cheers mate, I just fancy Baines for the next few fixtures and he's fast becoming a great differential. I'd really like to get Rooney but that would mean a hit and my good rank this season is largely because of cutting out taking hits. Could do Ramsey > Mata though?

    Is it worth taking a 4 point hit to change Yakubu and R.Taylor to Ba and Caulker I know R.Taylor and the Yak are good players to have but Ba's consistency has been remarkable and I don't want to downgrade any of my expensive players -Nani-Mata-Silva-Bale-Van Persie-Suarez most of these guys are fixture proof and I feel will do well over the season Mata and Suarez haven't turned in massive returns yet but i'm expecting them to produce over the festive period

      It seems so, noone can be sure but they were both on the pitch and Ade missed his last one (although he scored the rebound) so it seems like he will be taking them
